Only Updates When <50ft Away 2/5
I want to like this app so much, but the times for stops refresh when I get closer to stop and I need times to be accurate BEFORE I get to stop—I live @100ft from three lines—so annoying that it has to have me be so close to provide refresh. I can’t trust this app but it is only decent one I can find.
Yes, I refresh regularly and have latest version.
Wrong times and lines 1/5
This app used to work really well but recently all of the times and lines have been incorrect, they’ve even been displaying buses that don’t exist at all. This is creating a lot of issues with getting to school on time and I’m hoping this review brings it to the attention of the developers.
worthless app 1/5
By rams 1995
what a piece of crap this app is worthless and confusing please keep the old metro app
Times are never correct!
Doesn’t Understand New York Buses 1/5
I am always going back and forth between Citymapper and Transit and think both apps are decent. I kind of like Transit better, but I’m always driven back to Citymapper because Transit just doesn’t have it right for NYC buses. It doesn’t show the right buses at the right stops, especially Limited buses. I’d also like to use Transit GO, but whenever I am on a bus it pops up a dialogue box asking which bus number I am on, but it never shows the correct one as a choice and there is no way to select anything else.
Where is the transportation schedule??? 1/5
I can only see Uber/Lyft now. Where are details about buses and trains???
Put it back, Pleaaase.
No información a cambio de rutas
Not sure if it’s the app or the buses. At times it states a bus is near yet there is none and you’re left waiting for another hour for another bus that might not come wandering if you need to call an Uber.
No live indicator anymore after last update? 4/5
By iphone user pdx
I love this app. However after updated yesterday there’s no live indicator on each bus line anymore. Can you put it back?
clutter on top of clutter 2/5
Every update has brought more clutter and made everything slower to load and harder to use. A floating search box that never gets out of the way, a skittish map that triggers constant reloading of the interface. The designers’ solution to every new feature seems to be to “add another layer”. The result is a real mess.
Oh, and the release notes are just idiotic. Give it a rest, guys. List the changes clearly and spare us the amateur comedy.
mediocre live countdown 3/5
Live countdowns, which are approx the only part I care about, don’t update quickly or very reliably. Find myself frequently ejecting the app from iOS memory and reopening to force a countdown update.
My go-to app for NYC MTA. Great app 5/5
I can find the fastest route anywhere in NYC and see when a bus or train will arrive.
Transit's schedule is more up to date than the one on the pole at the bus stops!
Often better info than the MTA app, but always in a much more useful presentation.
Best routes and accurate directions, just missing 2 important things: 5/5
I absolutely love this app, I use it over Maps, Google Maps, and MYmta. The times and directions are always accurate to a T, except when there delays. Planned service changes are correct, but when the MTA has impromptu delays, the app does not account for them. If trains are stalled because of a subway surfer, the MTA app lets us know (and why, which is EXTREMELY useful) but not Transit.
I also wish they had time of arrival on the directions timeline. I know leave + duration = arrival, but adding time isn't the most intuitive thing in the world, and it’s hard to decipher the exact time using the top axis on the screen.
Aside from those 2 things, this app is always the way to GO.
I’ve never used a more confusing, counterintuitive inaccurate app. Deleted.
I had higher expectations 🤷🏻♀️ 2/5
I had to delete my old bus app because it said they’re deleting it and to use this app. I had it for a few months, and I really don’t like it. Sometimes it says my bus is soon to arrive, sometime is says a half an hour more. Honestly, I just want to go home. It’s so hard to get the accurate time and I’d have to wait so long, it’s not safe at night too 😭 please fix this
Android version worked better for me. 4/5
By Good Ol' Pops
I've had both versions of this app and my son uses the Android version. We both use CT Transit in New Haven and the iPhone version is consistently late to update with info or even receive the correct info. Many times I've missed a bus and have taken to asking him what his app says if the time is close. We've been standing next to each other and his app is current and working fine and mine either hasn't gotten the signal and/or it's showing incorrect information. I've had to take a Android tablet with me to make sure I get correct info especially if I have Dr appointments to keep that day. I also have seen other iPhone users at the same stops expressing frustration about the app not working right. It's a shame Thursday can't get the performance out of the iPhone they do with the Android.
You guys keep reporting bogus busses that don't come and faking their GPS location with where they should be rather than their actual location. When I check my transit authority's real page, I can see I shows delays.
Zero accuracy 1/5
Time of arrival and departure totally a mess. Can’t rely too much on this app.
One Star 1/5
This use to be one of the best apps but with all these updates the app barely functions right it’s so annoying
Very inaccurate all the buses it says are next pass by the time I get there
It’s mostly guesswork 3/5
By Special LK
I used this app for the CSUN 2019 conference. We were relying on the ART (Anaheim resort transportation - Disneyland resort) bus line. Their bus service is not always accurate. There were three buses that this app showed, but they never showed up. This app is pretty good, but I think a lot of the scheduling is guesswork.
Times are made up? 1/5
The last two times I’ve used the app I’ve arrived 3 minutes at the bus stop before directed and yet had to wait more than 15 minutes for a bus to show up. I guess I’m going back to the metro app.
Work In Progress 3/5
When on app for Muni in SF. Directions told me to get off two stops early and walk twelve minutes. Went onto Google Maps and it showed correct stop to get off at, with only a two minute walk. Also, the app only shows one direction of travel when it opens up. Always seems to be that it shows an inbound Muni line versus and outbound and vice versa.
Had a couple of experiences similar to this. I’ll stick with Google Maps for the time being.
Position is not showing 2/5
After the new update, cascade east transit bus’s position is not showing on the map.
Amazing app 5/5
This app helped me travel places completely for free when my parents were telling me I needed to call an Uber or get a subway. Definitely a good app.
Keeps crashing 1/5
This was an awesome app. The only one I used for public transportation but it just started crashing about a week ago. I had to download a replacement because it crashes either right away or mid-trip.
Reliable app 4/5
It is a good app but features have been changed so often without being told. I could no find the feature with photo of a bus approaching or passing. However, I love the new feature that shows the minus time (late bus approach)
Pretty sweet 5/5

Apple Watch? 🤞🏼
Great Idea But Needs Improvement 3/5
The first few weeks of use were great and helpful. After that I began to notica that the time of arrivals for a lot of the public transportation I use, was fairly inaccurate. I.e. 23 minute wait for a bus which actually arrived in about 3 minutes. Gps ability definitely needs some improvement. It’s very easy for the location services to be “offline” or recognizing the incorrect location, while all other apps are perfectly normal and up and running.
The concept is awesome and I genuinely like the app, it just needs to fix a few things so that way it becomes reliable.
Wordy updates not helpful 3/5
It’s a good app, but they need to explain what’s in their updates instead of babbling what they think are “jokes”.
Transit is pretty 5/5
Pretty UI! Rather easy to use app.
Needs more improvement 1/5
Not an exact time for transportation to express
I like being on time 4/5
By DJ MARKFRANK
This app has help me get to places and work on time for a couple of years now. I like it. Not sure what the point system does for you but other than that it’s still a good app :-)
Time is money 5/5
This is the best transit app I’ve come across so far, picks up both train and bus routes, very handy for a place like NYC where there are numerous travel options. Easy stress free app just open and everything is displayed vividly right in front of you. This beats my local transit apps hands down.
WRONG BUS NUMBER 4/5
Great app but you guys mixed up the 163 with the one 162... I was very confused when it said 162 because I take the 163 on San Fernando rd and Sunland blvd but I figured it out by the bus route
Never Accurate 1/5
This app is never accurate. I’m not sure if it’s just the Port Authority in Pittsburgh but according to transit the bus is either always late, too early, or the app will say that a bus came and it never does. Something needs to be fixed. ASAP!
Thank you 5/5
This app has been very beneficial and thank you!!!!!
Add a Apple Watch version 5/5
Useless if you need to get to and from work 1/5
Sometimes the bus comes, sometimes no bus. Useless.

User unfriendly needs work
Great for bus Schedules (Seattle) 5/5
By b r u t u s
Works smoothly for bus schedules in and around Seattle. I found it to be more informative than google maps, and have a cleaner UI.
Good app 5/5
By Sr Acero
This app is really good
Virtually useless. Train times are inaccurate, and the app takes for ever to load subway arrivals and statuses.
You need this app 5/5
If you really wanna gauge time on where you need to go or where the bus is if your taking it daily you need this
Commute via subway? Don’t use this app. 1/5
I am in love with the concept of this app. However, if you have to go underground or loose GPS this app assumes you missed your train and puts you on the next one. Which, if you have to make a connection screws up the rest of your route and there is no way to get back to your previous route. 😡
So before you use the app ask yourself am I going under ground? If yes, don’t use.
Great but social needs improvement 2/5
Love the app
Love how I can help others
And it tells me how many I help
And that I am awesome
I like that
But when I change devices
I lose all of my history
And that makes me sad
Give me my awesomeness back
Innacurate times 1/5
This app always screws me over with innacurate times EVERY TIME I USE IT!!
Great map but... 5/5
By Pattie R.
Sometimes I get the opposite direction instead of where I’m going. How can I view the direction I’m going?
Great App But Not Working 3/5
Typically, this app is great, but your latest update has the app shutting down as soon as I select the destination.
