  • The best app out there for traveling around the city of NEW YORK 5/5

    By Malikpeterson
I’m from harlem and that’s a fact this is the best transit app in New York City deadass
  • Meh 3/5

    By astonishingson96
    The app Works sometimes !
  • Slow to show routes and inaccurate 2/5

    By b0bandw3av3
When I first downloaded this app it worked great, super accurate and fast to load. Now it takes forever to load and it tells me buses/routes are unavailable when they are not. I am literally sitting at the the bus stop but if I click the bus and the time it says unavailable or if I try to search my route to see how long I have it says unavailable when the bus hasn’t come by yet. Sometimes if it says unavailable I can search for the route a different way in the app and it will work. It’s super disappointing because this used to be the best app, now google maps is more accurate.
  • Good app except... 4/5

    By Kitsov
The app is smooth, well presented, and rock solid stability wise... the only problem is, it seems to miss routes/connections. It's probably an option I’ve missed but out of the box it seems to not grab the soonest route (at least in my case). So in short... it gets me there, just a hour or more later than the other apps I’m trying.
  • Not impressive 2/5

    By makewen
Let’s say you want to get from A to B. It takes several steps in this app. You click on A under previous searches or type it into a search and then click on it. You get a menu. You have to select “Get Directions” even though you’ve already selected Location A. A blank “To” and “From” pops up. Why blank? You already typed in a search or selected a previous search. And you clicked on it! But you have to type it in again? In the “To” you now want to type B. But the app gives you search results from all over the world. It’s a transit app not a travel app! Location A is in a given city. But the top suggested results for B in the same “Get Directions” window can be anywhere in the world? The algorithm doesn’t prioritize local destinations? Meanwhile, the search isn’t very “smart.” Type in X “station” and you can’t find the subway station. Type in X “subway” and it’s there. Really?
  • Love the app 4/5

    By Dustin_UT
I use this app on a daily basis, and I love it! I do have 1 issue however - I have noticed the arrival times like to jump back and forth with the CTA in Chicago. I’ll open it fresh, the time will say 5 min. I’ll go to another application and the time will jump to 10 min. If I force close the app, the time will then go back to 5 min upon opening again. A couple of times this had lead to me missing a bus. Would love a fix!
  • If You’re in a City You Need This App 5/5

    By rfabs
This is a terrific app for navigating public transit, especially useful in cities one is not familiar with. I’ve used it in NYC, San Francisco, Paris, and London. It helps with both bus and subway trips. It’s a little tricky to use at first, but once you figure it out it’s indispensable.
  • Best App Ever!!! 5/5

    By Bx Queen Diva
I absolutely love this app. Where has this app been all my life 😊. Precise and very detailed app. Very easy to navigate. Greatest app ever!!
  • It worked at first 3/5

    By CloverGuardian
First few months, magical. Then idk what happened after that. Completely inaccurate. Deleted it and redownloaded. Hopefully this will fix things.
  • trash 1/5

    By Bahahahshshshsj111111
it’s straight up trash like the bus said twenty minutes away so i didn’t leave ( i’m across the street in a store ) and then two seconds later i see a bus fly by
  • Best transit and route app I’ve used 5/5

    By dblplus
I used NextBus for years and finally ditched it after it constantly went down or was out of sync with local SFMTA times. Transit is faster, gives more options for routing and much more accurate. Easy click and go to get directions and best routes with multiple types of transit including bike, walk, scooters, city bikes. Indispensable for commuting in San Francisco.
  • Awfull 1/5

    By abthc
This is a horrible, horrible app. It arbitrarily and randomly enters “destination” addresses and then insists on telling you how to get there! Very, very buggy and unresponsive “help”.
  • Works great 5/5

    By bascomb
The app works very well and is always right to within a minute of a buses arrival time. I recommend highly for anyone who needs to use public transit for any reason, makes complex transfers super easy to understand.
  • Divvy integration stopped working 1/5

    By fabian.m
I had to stop using this app and download the Divvy app because the Divvy integration stopped working...sad!
  • Fast! ALL The Time! 5/5

    By JackieGee
When I get off work at 2am; this is excellent for checking the quickest available bus/train in NYC. (I already know how to get home, so pulling this up is MUCH FASTER than typing my address into Google Maps and searching for route options.) Also, today's Christmas Update rap made my day. **UPDATE** All their Updates make my day. Hilarious writing! And much needed fixes/improvements!
  • App crashes consistently 3/5

    By PradyQA
We are seeing consistent app crashes when the from and to locations are provided as input. This has been happening quite consistently now. Can the developers please take a look?
  • Helpful and a blessing 5/5

    By Zincy93
I live in Bend Oregon and the city Spends more money on i’m potentially things that are not as much priority to helping the community as a whole. We do have a bus system now but unfortunately the money spent needs to be addressed. There’s a lot of people who want to live in independent life and the transit website is very confusing. Also for the disabled there’s not enough accommodation. This app is A blessing to those in the community to make life a little less complicated.
  • Good most of the time 4/5

    By _guyanesedoll
I would have given the app 5 stars but there’s been quite a few times the app was not accurate. It would say a bus is coming at a curtain time but don’t. One minute it might say the buses are coming back to back then another it would say only one bus. Sometimes it would say I have to wait 10 mins and I would see a bus drive pass the stop and not on app. But overall I would recommend because it does come in handy to have
  • Makes it convenient 5/5

    By Despise
The accuracy of the bus arrivals on this app is almost perfect! I use this app for whenever I have to take the bus and even when I have to go somewhere I don't know the directions for. This is basically a hassle-free GPS without needing to spend a dime
  • Late for work thanks to this app 2/5

    By Midwestopera
This app says it gives real time arrival information, but it is WILDLY inaccurate. I have written to the developers they have done nothing to improve the experience, throwing the blame. Google Maps is far more accurate.
  • *DONT NOT WAST YOUR TIME USING THIS 1/5

    By AllenDaughtry14
It glitches and messes up your phone ..probably one of the worst apps ever made
  • Wonderful App, but... 4/5

    By TheOneBruh
This app is a great companion to have no matter where you are, and it can only get better from here! I have one request for a future update. I see that you have added train numbers for many transit lines, except for New Jersey Transit. Therefore, my only request is to add train numbers for NJ Transit Rail Lines. Other than that, keep up the good work! 👍
  • Not reliable 1/5

    By Jedi Juan
App showed train was coming in 2min. After 5 min was told by mat worker line wasn't running. App should have known this and recommended an alternative way
  • Inconsistent at best 2/5

    By notjere
The disclaimer is always something like we are dependent upon the MTA info we get. Bottom line, when it comes to buses, it is often inaccurate and sometimes completely wrong.
  • Wow 5/5

    By pinkhellokitty
I downloaded this app based on the reviews and I am BLOWN AWAY at how well this app works in NYC and getting around in NYC. The best part of it is that it’s free.
  • False advertising 1/5

    By 1mainer82
This app doesn’t actually track anything. It just tells you when the bus is due. But to market it as a tracking app is bs. The buses are always late and it gives you absolutely no idea by how much because it’s just a clock that counts down at every stop to when the bus is due. as helpful as a paper schedule.
  • It is the best! 5/5

    By DiamontGames
This app safe my life, I always know when the bus are coming, the exactly time and its there some delays. Mays me organize better my time for out to my home. It’s really good 👍🏽
  • App useless 1/5

    By jsp7970
This app used to be reliable for my purposes (Red line in Boston) but for over a month now it is basically useless. Times (even in real time) are too often way off. I contacted the developer who said they thought they had fixed it with the MBTA, and suggested I contact the T when it happens. Two things, first it happens with such frequency I’ll be contacting the T every day, and two, are you seriously asking me to fix your app? So I’m deleting the app which is just wasting space on my phone. Maybe I’ll check back in a few months to see if they have gotten it right.
  • Works well, missing Lyft 4/5

    By Solbdsgiibkifdj
Great get around app. Wondering why Uber can pay to be solo rideshare in an app dedicated to consolidating public access travel tho, as Lyft is just as relevant. Some of us like to stick to using one app rather than many. Very useful otherwise, thanks for the app!
  • Was great while it worked 3/5

    By Benji419
But no longer accurate for Arlington, VA bus service
  • Great app...sadly attached to AC trans drivers 2/5

    By Mattdub
Addendum 5/8: how many times can you wait for a bus COUNTING on the App to have a somewhat reliable real time tracking to get you to work or school? Hint: buy a calculator before you lose your job because you were late AGAIN. Diaf: AC transit AND This app This is by far the best app for getting around. Only problem is the time table saying when busses will arrive and 50% of the time the busses are WAY OFF THE TIME presumably because AC Transit has both awesome and horrible drivers that couldn't give a care about being on time or being a good employee, etc
  • Very helpful 4/5

    By nickie lea
This is a really awesome app. It lets you know when ahead of time. It gives you the name of the street instead of saying miles i love this app it makes things really simple
  • Useless for buses in Manhattan. 1/5

    By Mike from Harlem
    Title says it all.
  • Simulation rather than “real time” 2/5

    By Ktol77
Definitely not real time but rather simulation, at least in LA area (Redondo Beach). Shows bus on time and left when it actually running 10 min late. Constant pop up bar asking to enable motion sensor if you skip it during initial setup. What motion sensor is good for if bus tracking is not the real time.. deleted!
  • Ghost NJ Transit buses! 1/5

    By twolawyers
I don’t know how this app works. Are NJ Transit buses equipped with GPS devices and connected to Transit’s system? It’s happened more than once that buses don’t show up on the app or are flagged as arriving but are not, or have arrived but in reality have not. I still have to go back to the paper schedule of my bus.
  • Where was I when this came out! 5/5

    By Sticki Pages
💡Look just let everyone know it’s about time⌚️.....don’t be late 🏃🏿‍♂️like me! Download 🤳this app now!!
  • Transit on my Wrist 5/5

    By AceSaif
I definitely love this app. I just want to know when is it going to be available for the Apple Watch?
  • Changed my life BIG TIME! 5/5

    By atheman90
I owe you all a huge thanks for this app. It really helps us out! I’ve had this app for years. It’s been so long since I’ve downloaded it that I can’t even remember when I got it. I introduced my friends and family to the app. This is a good app to use when you’re taking public transportation. (Rates the app 5 stars)
  • Used to be more accurate 3/5

    By Robiedo
5/5/18 update: First, thanks to the developer for responding to my original review. I’m not sure what good screen shots would do, but here’s a specific example from last week Monday, morning: I got to the bus stop and checked your app for the arrival of the next bus. It said 19 minutes and that the last bus had gone through four minutes earlier. Instead if waiting such a long time, I opted to jump in a shared bike that happened to be parked nearby. No sooner than I’d pedaled all of a mile (about five minutes later) and, whoosh, the bus goes flying by. All of relevant buses appearing in the schedule were displaying with the GPS tracking indicator, but none of the times was accurate. Maybe you could query Valley Transit about their useless signalling. ______________ I have relied upon this app in the Phoenix metro area for going on two years and consider it an essential part of my commute and even incidental use of public transit. However, it seems that recently it’s less accurate, even for buses that are supposedly being tracked with GPS. I’ll keep using it, because I really like its user interface and features, but I’m hoping, a lot, that the accuracy of arrival times improves—soon.
  • Beautiful app 5/5

Made my way easier as a new Person in Montreal
  • Please! 1/5

    By Drew137373
Worst app ever. Not accurate at all
  • Life saver 5/5

    By Lucia the Great
This app is the best transit app to date; I really enjoy the ease of use, quick updates and overall look and feel of the app. Thanks for making a great tool for my commute in NYC

  • Best app😁👍🏼 4/5

    By 0neluv23
This is a perfect app... but one problem, the widget is unable to load up... please fix it
  • Can’t think of a more useless application 1/5

    By Koonstheman
I think the entire system could disappear into thin air and this wouldn’t pick it up
  • Waze but for public transit 5/5

    By UberATG
It’s like Waze but for public transit. Got it? Good.
  • App is not accurate to Bus time 3/5

    By Brazilian diva
The App tell you your bus is coming in five minutes or 10 minutes whatever it may be, but in actuality it won’t be there for half an hour one hour you would be waiting the whole time For an imaginary bus that never came. Not as disappointed with the application more with the bus schedule and the nice bus service
  • USEFUL 5/5

    By Miss Neec
Even though he times aren’t accurate all the time. It was a breeze when it’s time to get off on your stop of your a little lost using the GO OPTION.
  • The best. 5/5

    By Thop8041
This has become my most important, most used app. It is, simply put, a life saver for someone who relies on public transportation and the use of multiple routes throughout the day. The user interface is simple, detailed, and a pleasure to use every day. To the folks at Transit, keep up the great work! P.S. Will there be support for Apple Watch at any point in the future?
  • Great all-in-one Transit app 5/5

    By Teeutt
There are several reasons I like this app. For a long time I was using Google Maps but after an update Google Maps started to have issues. So I was looking for an app that does what Google Maps does, but better, and I was really impressed by Transit. Here are some things Transit does that I like: 1. It takes data from my the SEPTA (Philly) app, which tracks buses/trains and shows you real time whether it is on time or late. Unfortunately since the SEPTA app doesn’t tell you if it’s early I still have to make sure I leave the house 5 mins early. 2. It lets you see what other times buses are running. There’s a line by me that comes every 8 minutes I like to take the earlier bus to transfer to another so that if the bus arrives to the transportation center late, it arrives with enough time for me to transfer. 3. It shows you not only the lines that are close to you, but also farther away so that you can choose from more options. 4. It shows you the most direct route to ride your bike. This for me is big because on Google Maps it makes some weird route with lots of turns, but all I want is the most direct route. 5. It also lets you remove the Uber option from the list of methods of transit. After I realized I had used an obscene amount of money on Uber, I stopped using it so I am happy that I don’t have to be reminded of how much faster it is to take Uber than to use public transit every time I want to figure out how to get from pt A to pt B. Since it is not a Maps app, but rather a Transit app, it doesn’t let you get information about the stores in the area, and instead will only show you how to get to that location so I will have to keep a Maps app on my phone for things like store business hours, phone number, restaurant menus, etc, but as a Transit app, it does a great job.
