Thank you for your service. Been using you for years 5/5

TIMES NEVER CORRECT IN SF 1/5
Prepare to start walking 15 min earlier than it tells you too. Extremely frustrating.
Satisfied 100% (OVERALL) 5/5
🗣I’ve yet of my 31 years of life to be impressed perhaps in complimenting terms seeking 100% satisfaction in every aspect and on various platforms within life itself, I’ll honestly and enthusiastically look forward to using this transit app in my near future endeavors as well as recommending others to do so likewise. ✌🏾❤️😃✍🏾✅
Rarely accurate 1/5
More often than not end up waiting just for the bus not to come at all
A waste! 1/5
This app is HORRIBLE!!! It will continue to show arrival times for buses even if there is no bus coming. A lot of people rely on these services
Bus 15, 16, & 9 2/5
While having the app can be helpful, it is very limited in its abilities. It should not matter where I’m located, if I need to know where bus 15 is at a given time, I should be able to see where that bus is located. I use three busses. This app is very confusing to say the least. I us the information to help a person who is both physically and mentally disabled, and she needs to also transfer for either bus 15 or 16 to get on bus 9 in the morning. In the afternoon the opposite, bus 9 to either bus 15 or 16.
Having the app just run like a recorded loop is stupid! Example, July 3rd, app shows bus 15 coming to Richmond, says it will be here in 5 minutes. No bus. No bus after 15 minutes, no bus after 45 minutes, but your app says it’s coming. I call CVTD and get a recording saying busses are not running, but the app says they are.
Make sure the bus transponders are working and showing on the app, and showing correctly.
I should be able to pull up for example bus 16, and see where the bus stops and times. That would allow me to figure out if I could or would take that bus at a given time/location, no matter where I might be as I check schedules, so I can help this young lady be ready for the bus and help her employer adjust her work schedule in conjunction with bus schedules.
As it is I can’t figure out when or where a bus will be to make appropriate plans.
Incredible ! 5/5
I can't even begin to tell you how amazing I think this app is. After using mass transit with paper schedules for years and having to plan on being at a bus stop 5 minutes early for every leg of a trip, I can now see where my bus or train is and plan my trip accordingly. This app has literally changed my life!
Not helpful 1/5
By mija bella
This app does not give all options for routes. I selected Less walking but it does not show the connecting bus i know connects.
For another trip, It sent me to a stop that was actually a block away from where it said it was, and was also the Last Stop from the other direction, not a place to board in my direction.
When it shows buses near where you are, it only offers them in one direction.
Best app pre pandemic. Now it’s just inaccurate 3/5
Would have rated it as the best app. But since the pandemic, info is incorrect and most buses arrive early or not at all.
widget don’t work
Years later, ETA’s are still unreliable. Either I miss my bus, or I’m waiting outside 8 minutes or more than I should.
This is the best app they’ve ever made for transit and transportation
Late or never show 1/5
This app is always inaccurate none of the transit line are every on time always late one minute it may show Six minutes then you check again it says fifty four minutes i leave for work two hours early and still barley make it on time
Departures and times are off on app! Please fix!
Pretty real time accurate
Falla demasiado y aveces no da esacto el tiempo en el que pasarán los buses o trenes 1/5
Falla demasiado y aveces no da esacto el tiempo en el que pasarán los buses o trenes
In love 5/5
This is the best app for transit I’ve ever experienced. Everything is in real time and location based so no searching is needed. It also notifies you when you’re approaching your stop.. it’s perfect. I wish it worked everywhere!
Best Transit App! 5/5
I tried all the ones on the App Store and this one is by far the best!
Update June 2020 1/5
By Jay Prescott Shermin
MTA has said screw it have disabled all tracking devices bon their trains and buses. Leaving us to guess based on their never on time schedule; rendering this app completely useless.
Never reliable 1/5
It always happens where you’ll look at the time it comes but it constantly changes or it doesn’t flow red and its a dull number. Does that mean that bus won’t be coming? Or? The bus could say 15 min and you walk to the bus stop, but when you get there if the number of min wasn’t red and had a little 3 bar next to it, then you waited there for nothing. It always happened, like I said I don’t know if that means the bus won’t come, or if that means the bus is sharing their live location, but still it needs to be fixed so people don’t miss or are misguided to busing timelines for the day.
Should show accurate location of bus 4/5
Only issue is that it doesn’t have an accurate location of the bus. So you might miss your bus or think you’ve missed your bus.
Little 317 5/5
so glad alll buses are clean , my suggestion when the sits are full .The drivers should tell them to wait fir incoming next bus . for the sake of everyone of us
Best App for Bay Area 5/5
This app is the best transit app I’ve found. I would pay money for this app. I actually look forward to using it. While you are on a bus or train and leave it on in your pocket you can literally see everyone you are helping. Then when you get off it tells you the total amount of people you helped on your trip.
The directions the British dude gives you are on point. One issue though is it doesn’t provide much on the finding the station. It lead me to the station and said I was there but it took me a while to realize in was under ground so I had to try and find the stairs. Would be awesome if users could take a picture of the stop and attach them to the stop in the app.
Overall, use this for your SF trip or even just your day to day so you feel your starting your day by helping other commuters.
What happen? 2/5
The arrival times are never accurate anymore what happen
It works 5/5
By three track rider
& is pretty accurate.😁
Useful +++ 5/5
I really like this app. It gives me better info and clearer directions than the CTA app. It also has very useful features and feels a lot friendlier in general.
This is the worst app 1/5
It keep losing my bus pass
By *El lobo de la Montaña.***
Que bien 👍🏻
Best App 5/5
Best Transportation app on the App Store💯💯
Information is often inaccurate or not updated properly.
This is a great App. Even during this COVID slowdown it is majority accurate. Are there “ghost buses” from time to time? Yes. [ And sometimes buses break down making everyone wait for the next one. It happens. ]
I have used both Android and IOS versions and the App works flawlessly on both. It’s free & Ad-less. Good job!
Reliable service 5/5
Muy buena aplicación me ayuda demasiado i Love ir
Non existing busses late busses. Liar app 2/5
Horrible. The VERY ONLY REASON I use this app is because it’s the most seemless one. I’ve received marks at my job for being late and trusting this app have missed other rides because of this app. If you want to get anything done this app works MAYBE 30% of the day the rest of the day it will literally say bus arriving. Then just skip the bus and go to the next bus which is 30 minutes away. It’s so bad it’s almost a scam. It’s almost as if this app wants you to have a messed up day
This not ok 1/5
When I first started using it it was OK!!!!
But it seems like since COVID-19 started this app been not doing its job and I hate when I’m going outside to catch the bus and I got 10 minutes early anyway
By the time I get there the app says 29 minutes.......!
And I refresh my app
& it be glitching and the fact the app don’t let people know that one buses are running late.......
It’s a program every update I do it’s even more and more of a problem
No longer reliable 1/5
It seem now half the time the information is wrong. The app says the bus or train is coming in 2 min and 30 min later it show up. This make the app useless.
I was ripped off!!!!! 1/5
I had 1 issue once with this app company that they had resolved but my devices with them should’ve ended there! I payed for a ticket I wasn’t able to use, not once, but TWICE IN THE SAME DAY!!! I wasn’t able to use either tickets because they “wouldn’t load”. When I went to the window at my local station in Bakersfield, they explained to me that it’s a third party app and I have to go through them. I’ve left emails and calls on there machine but with no response back and my cash still not refunded. I have to ride 2 busses to and from work every day. It gets expensive and I can’t afford to pay for 3 passes in a day or to lose my job!!! Save your money and just pay for the actual ticket. Apple Maps and google maps work great to tell you the scheduled arrival of your bus and can help with Uber or Lyft as well. This App is a joke and theft for real
What happened to LIRR? 2/5
Used to be great but now is missing LIRR trains for no apparent reason. No I'm not taking a Long Island bus from Manhattan... what the heck
Excellent way of transportation... 5/5
Definitely we do have a great way of transportation. Fist time used this app and brought me to my destination point on time. Awesome service!
By Joe from SLC, Utah
Unfortunately this is the only app for what I need and its got a bunch of weird glitches, when I’m already on the train it tells me I need to get on the one after so I can’t get notifications of when my stop is actually, I wish they would fix this since they are already asking for permission for my location, also doesn’t consider when you are already walking to you destination. just simply frustrating
10-star APP 5/5
If I could rate this app 10-stars I would. I have used every metro app in multiple cities from Washington, DC to Los Angeles, CA. This app never crashes and is always accurate. What more can you ask for in an app?! Once you use transit you will never use another app again, seriously.
Good App 3/5
Like the app for the most part. Needs whole system map though.
Awesome-Great News for Los Angeles 5/5
I’m so happy that Los Angeles choose your app for the Metro. I work with disadvantaged individuals and have been teaching individuals for 7 years on how to use the disparate transportation systems in the area. We have 38 city’s/districts and each have different solutions. This app merges these programs into one resource, allowing so many people to move about. Ditching the expensive ride hailing services that they can’t afford or physically don’t have access to because they don’t have a credit card or bank account.
I’ve personally moved exclusively to the public transportation for 6 years because of this application. Los Angeles now has a real system because this application combines everything, almost as if we had a unified network.
Thank you very much.
This is by far the worst app ever 1/5
Nothing you guys put is right from the time the bus is going to arrive to the time it leaves this app is a joke. I only gave you 1 star cause it wouldn’t let me send this message unless I rated it but if it wasn’t cause of that I would have given no star
It’s think I’m on the bus when I’m on my bike 4/5
I love the app. Being in a new city it definitely helps me get around. My only issue is that when I’m riding my bike to the bus stop the app thinks that I’m on the bus... understandably (especially if I’m going fast). I hope that you can add an option where as a bike rider I can let the app know when I’m on the bus. Or at least have an option to say I’m not on the bus yet. I’m sure this causes confusion for other rides if the app thinks I am where the bus is. Love the app though.
confusing interface 2/5
Too many layers. A hyperactive map. This app used to be pretty simple but they keep just adding more things and putting each one on a new layer.
At the end of the day, I really just want to know when the next couple of subway trains are coming. That’s it. You don’t need to try to replicate some complicated mapping or routing app — I just want to quickly know what my local transit options are and when they’re arriving, thanks.
As a side note, the release notes are consistently so clogged up with lame jokes that it becomes hard to find the actual changes in each version. Maybe focus more on quality and you won’t have to push out an app update every three days.
When it works it great but it’s not up to date with Covid 1/5
When it works its great but it’s not up to date with Covid so now people are harassing the bus drivers like they code the up.
Son of a beach!
Wish it was real time not peer required 2/5
Times are not very accurate most of the time in Los Angeles. Up to 2-15min difference. Relies too heavily on someone using up their own data plan to get one bus to be accurate. As well as the fact the the loading is so slow for our low data users. Hoping this can change with the companies latest sign on to Los Angeles county.
