The SMS spam filter needs a LOT of work. Currently, it is filtering legit SMS messages from AT&T into my spam folder. But the messages that I want it to filter — spam that contain the same domain name in every message BODY: *.onlinehome.us, it doesn’t filter out. So it’s doing pretty much the exact opposite of what it should. Hopefully it gets better soon and I can rerate. Annoyingly there is no way to provide feedback other than the way I’m doing now. That is there’s no way to say actually that message is spam or actually that message is ham. But it is nice to be able to do a reverse look up on a phone number.

I’ve enlarged the font on my phone to be able to read it and it appears this app can’t handle that. All my messages are cut off on the left and the play button is also off to the left side so I can’t even play the message.

Downloaded the app, set everything up, even paid money, got everything set up and immediately got 4 different calls from Indian scam call centers. So far this app has failed at every level. Will update if I see a change.

I have been using this app since I was in Africa , I migrated now and expect that they still protect me yet they asking me to subscribe again with the same email it is no good they should have updated my email to know it is the same person , they are more of money gathering than giving best service update !

I have not seen a reduction in spam calls with the free plan. The prefix number calls are also abundant. I already had the correct settings in place. This app just does not seem to be working - whether an iOS or app issue. If it doesn’t work, the reason is not relevant to the end user.
Notification Badges Won’t Clear 3/5

Truecaller is a very comprehensive spam blocker that uses the cloud for it’s Assistant AI feature to deal with calls. So far so good. I was on the trial period. Truecaller handles all voicemails. The big problem in my experience is that the notification badges remain after the Assistant listings have been seen or listened too (voicemails). I did send in an email to support but in the meantime I have deleted the app and cancelled the trial subscription. I really don’t have the patience to jump through hoops to find a fix.

I’m a good contributor of this application, but I truly require some features for IOS:
1) Always Background Running
2) Unknown Caller Info Displaying during calls
( it’s not visible if you close the app)
3) add another payment option : onetime payment for some limited features add and some other important features - besides subscription fees .

Unable to get a hold of customer service. Unable to change the voice of my assistant, and not able to screen incoming calls. Individuals that call me are getting connected right to me without me being able to find out who is actually on the line. This is not what I expected when I signed up. Have sent several tickets to the help desk. Have yet, to receive a response. Not very happy this far with this App.

This is begun to affect my ability to make outgoing, phone calls, let alone receive phone calls. I have no idea how I want up with this thing on my phone but it’s horrible.

I have recently swapped from my iPhone 12 promax to an iPhone 14 Pro and after following instructions on how to restore the purchases if you change phones, but it still will not allow this to happen. I paid $89 for a whole year of silver plan that doesn’t come due until December 24, 2024 I’ve made two request trying to contact Truecaller but when I go to where it asked to follow the ticket number it asked me to login and it won’t even take my login and I try to reset the password but it still won’t even send me the email to reset my password. get it together Truecaller

This is a really good app and blocks a lot of spam calls. ( so far- seems ok, not great, for texts). The only down side is you can’t unblock a number once someone in the network marks it as spam, like your bank fraud alert. I have tried adding numbers to my contacts lists , but that has not worked.

The App, as with so many of similar programs is very big on promises and small on results - to a large degree due to almost total focus on pushing its “premium “ product, which is no better, just costs too much! App is also not really user friendly and is just another annoyance with the app!

This app doesn’t work with iOS per a response I received from customer service rep via an email. It doesn’t have the ability to block calls immediately. There is no phone number listed either on their website u r at their mercy to respond to tickets u submit.

Useless app! Worked great when I was on the free trail but, now that I’m subscribed, it’s a piece of crap. It’ll silenced calls and don’t even give me any info on those calls. And some of those calls, I know for a fact that it ain’t even a spam call. Every time I open up the app, no updates or anything. Garbage.

Prior to installing this app, I very rarely received any spam calls. However, after installation and setting up an account, I am receiving calls multiple times per day from scammers. It may be a coincidence, but it certainly seems it does more harm than good, as it doesn’t signal any of the calls as scams anyway.
