Great App but needs a little improvement 4/5
By The Thomas Fam
This app is user friendly and makes finding a rental house easier. My suggestion would be that it would be great to know the specific date a home is available for move in. Without contacting the listing agent, there is no idea when a home is available.
Looking for an Apartment in Boston 4/5
Trulia looks like a very useful app. Started using it few weeks ago but haven’t heard back from any landlords/agency yet... Any tips?
It Helps A Lot! 5/5
When I was 18 and I was looking to move out, this app helped tremendously!
By going kooky
Love the notifications when something new comes available, but could be quicker about notifying when rentals aren’t available.
Also would like to be able to narrow down the area into zip codes for searches.
Do like all the info and photos that are available, though!
Hey guys 5/5
I love this app so much ❤️
Beware scams 2/5
Too many people are scamming people who are trying to fight a home.
Trulia can only do so much. /: been looking for a place for the past 2 months and all the places were saying they were out of state.
Easy to navigate 5/5
I like using this app because of how I can either use the map or an actual address.

So far so good

I love this app because it shows you the exact street many pictures of the apartment the price, the availability and many many more things as the best thing since sliced bread
Great site 5/5
It’s a great app to find available apartments. But not apartments are available. So with anything on the internet. Not everything is available.
Metro access filter 5/5
Was looking for something to filter out places not in walking distance of metro. Then found this app! 😊😊😊 just started using it. So let’s see how it goes!
I have used trulia in more than one move now but the app has severely went down hill. I absolutely hate that the properties I’ve seen do not show grey anymore and the ones I’ve hearted don’t even show that on the map they are all green and I’m seeing way to many properties to keep going back every time. Seems I’m not the only user with this complaint and it really needs to be fixed.
LOVE LOVE LOVE 5/5
This app is so easy to access. I love how we can see the get the details on the houses and the location all in one.
LGBT Centric 1/5
Not sure why, but for some reason LGBT friendliness has been integrated into real estate as far as this app is concerned. Still not sure how it relates but it just shows this app is compromised by special interests.
Helpful tip when making app 3/5

Please include a switch button for rentals that have utilities included.
So far the only rental app that’s updated 5/5
By Planet saturn
I’ve used over 6 rental apps and by far Trulia is the only one up to date on listings
I’ve wasted so much time...inaccurate listings 1/5
By Mocha Palms
I’ve had at least three owners tell me something m different than what I saw on this [email protected]
app. One ad said pet friendly and late into the viewing it comes out that the owner won’t allow dogs. Another’s ad failed to mention it was only FOR A MONTH! Yes I am livid. Moving is stressful enough but to have all of this misleading info out there is inexcusable.
Apparently they take all their info from Zillow and in the process they obviously screw up the tiny but vital details.
This app should be pulled and the company should be fined for fraudulent practices.

The app is easy to move around on and the filters are simple to use. The searches can be broad for an area or very specific.
Oh how great it would be 3/5

If this app allowed you to post ads on what you’re looking for. And renters were able to send you the links to their ads. And a way to mark places as “contacted” or “unavailable” to make it easier on your search.
Slow. Not like before 1/5
Slow, glitches. Not reliable as before
My favorite app! 5/5
Whether I am just browsing and looking at different architecture, perhaps looking for a home for her friend moving to Birmingham or looking in an area I would like to live someday......This is the app to do it. No pressure, you contact them if you would like to have a tour and they do not contact you otherwise. I’m in love with this app!
I wish they would bring back the grouping 4/5
I’m looking at different cities to move to based on my fiancé’s job, and it would be much more helpful if they brought back the feature that you could put properties into different groups. It would be much easier to look through.
Useless app for landlords 1/5
The app and website both are severely lacking an easy to use/navigate interface for Landlords looking for tenants to rent rooms to. I created a listing, and have had 10 or so emails regarding individuals interested in applying. No where on the app or website is there an option for me to send an application, or follow up, or message directly. So I have rooms available.... people are interested... and yet this app is essentially teasing both parties and not allowing a way of communicating... its very frustrating. Deleting the app now.... very disappointing. 0 Stars
Nothing but money money money 1/5
It’s basically a bunch of real estate companies that charge you just to see the place which is basically a month and a half’s rent most of the time which is really annoying. Don’t bother with trulia. My mom and I got a place just fine on our own by driving around looking for ‘for rent’ signs and we’re happy as can be right now!
Needs some bug updates 2/5
I don’t know if anyone else has been having the same problem, but I haven’t been able to see any apartments for other than the alerted ones when a new rental(s) appears BUT it doesn’t even match where I’m looking or the amount of bedrooms bathrooms I’m looking for. When I use the map it says “No homes found please adjust your filter” but I didn’t put any filters on it so it’s not reading the queries right. Is it just me? Please fix bug issues ASAP!
Just love that it shows the crime and other amazing things, so you get to know the neighborhood.
Awesome 😎 5/5

I love that it was send me notification on the filter I said to search for a rental instead of me checking every time.

Trulia is a great resource for finding the perfect place to rent or buy!
By Guy with iPhone6
Pretty nice app to have when searching for a place. Like the filter feature to add how many bedrooms/bathrooms. Adding the select your estimate pricing is helpful. But the area where I live is very expensive besides that it’s a good app to have. Great readable font and easy to use.
I love this app! It is so easy to use, pictures are great, very informative about each house even down to how far away Starbucks is! This is my one & only property app!

I like this app because your able to have options to find a new place to live and showing pictures and street view to see what it looks like live is a plus .im hoping to find my new place soon .
Great app, does the job it’s created for 4/5
I love how easy everything is, from contacting realtors and renters within app to contacting me about properties I may like. I would give another star once I get a house from the app. Stay tuned

I love the sudden updates on the homes.
Good job 5/5
By Ps. Corliss
They submit to me only homes that meet my filters. Don’t have to go through a bunch of stuff I’m not interested in. Although I won’t be relocating until mid-may of 2019, they still give me the info without a lot of pesky follow-up emails, texts or phone calls. I know that when we’re ready to make the move we will be as informed as possible in a long distance situation.
Lacks Basic Features and Functionality 1/5
By Anna Boyton
My review follows three attempts to contact Trulia’s Customer Support regarding the fluidity of the Trulia Rentals App (to which there was no follow-up from Trulia). Despite running the latest iOS Version, I have experienced numerous issues with my usage of the app. The biggest bug that is quite frustrating involves viewed rentals not indicating that the user has looked at the property by “greying out” the item. As soon as the app is closed out, the user has no indication of what has been seen versus what has not...because all properties reset to green. Which leads to the user spending more time reviewing items that they have previously considered during their last session. Additionally, the “NEW” tag is marked on properties that have been posted for weeks or even months. Even when this is “reported”, they remain within the system. Lately, even rentals that are no longer available are still labeled as “NEW” or “Available”. The app also doesn’t create a user experience based on the parameters and filters set by the users. The “Feed” portion is not properly customized based on user algorithms to show rental content that would interest the users based on their provided information. It is overloaded with rentals that do not match queries.
my go to app! 5/5
this is the best app to use for looking for an apartment or house. easy to work and lots of awesome suggestions. always being updated also, which is also a good thing
Best app 5/5
