    I signed up on my PC and used one of my personal email addresses. I then received a prompt to download their app, which I followed. Without giving it any thought, are used a different email address when signing up on the app. That caused their system to throw up and it cost me a couple of hours of working with their customer service to get it fixed. Other than that, I’ve been very pleased with the Turo app. My first experience was a big success. Very Conscientious and helpful car owner. Would definitely want to use him again.

    I’m a huge car fan. I love driving everything under the sun, and especially Manual transmissions. Turo is the only way to rent a manual in the US! Also, I’ve dealt with rental companies before, and the service just isn’t as good as what you usually get with a Turo renter. And the prices! I just rented a stick shift Porche for $130 a day! Incredible! Definitely recommend. Thanks Turo!

    After several failed attempts at trying to book a vehicle, I found Dany Poirrer (my apologies if I misspelled your name). I was able to book through him and he made it very easy to setup our meeting place which was economical for the both of us. He was on time with a beautiful automobile. He checked me in and off I went. Upon return the same thing he was on time checked me out and off I went. Dany was a very personable young man and I truly appreciate his kindness he showed me. If I need Turo again I will certainly look to book through Dany. KUDOS to Dany.

    Stay away from renting your car because Turo will try to find every single way to deny your claim. In my claim there a rock chip right next to the wiper which is hard to catch. That expanded and windshield need the replacement. I don’t drive my car and it was only used by Turo guest. They denied the claim using excuse that I have to report within 24 hours. The mileage was same for the first guest and the second guest-proving I didn’t drive that car and damaged were don’t by their guest. Now I have to get the car fixed myself out of my pocket. Thanks Turo for having great policies which doesn’t cover all the scenarios and thanks for not taking care of host.

    Love using Turo! I pick my car, it is always more affordable than your larger rental companies and I don’t have to wait in line providing every bit of information anyone could ask for! I pick my exact vehicle out and enjoy if for the trip! Will put blockbuster style rental companies out of business if they don’t learn how to step it up, speed it up and cater to what their customers truly desire: ease of use, no wait times and lack of BS!

    Refuse to address the issue after the trip is over. I was not trying to escalate a problem with the battery but when the host dared to charge me late return fee I just had to - and Turo support proved utterly useless. Shameful

    During my last rental I had several issues with the car I was using and also with Turo customer service. My rental was late Becca the car battery died. Later that day, once the car was up and running I again had issues—the vehicle wouldn’t start because of a security lock that the owner did not mention at ALL before sending me off with the car. Thinking it was a battery issue, we tried to give the car a jump. When it still wouldn’t start I reached out for help and told them exactly what happened. They said they’d send support... they sent a guy who said he was from a local repair shop, but came in a vehicle set up for Uber to jump start the car—after I told Turo reps the battery was NOT the issue. Finally, the host figures out the issue and unlocks the car. This is after a few hours. So, I requested a refund. Turo tried to give me a credit, I insisted that a refund was necessary because of the poor service. They attempted to make ME contact the host directly to ask for a refund instead of taking care of it themselves. When I said that wouldn’t be happening the Turo rep said he would take care of it and call me back. They never followed up to resolve my complaint and I never got my money back. You couldn’t pay me to use this app again. It’s unsafe, customer service does not listen and they will leave you high and dry.

    I dropped the car I rented off May 12 7pm still had daylight I ended the trip took the pics the app asked for the owner comes out gets the keys from me and we spoke briefly about how nice the car was next day I get a claim for a bad bill which was fine I waited the 80 hours for my deposit hold to be refunded never received it so I called them I find out there was a damage claim as well kind u this guy parks his car in a super maket parking lot. Long story short I sent my pics again to the Cain’s dept made an appointment to get a phone call to speak to a claims person never received a call but today I received an email saying the sided with the owner and I lost my deposit and now owe $450 for paint for the under side of the bumper all though the car sat a day and a half and wasn’t checked by the owner that same night I explained that to her yet they still wana charge me. I would recommend using the traditional car rentals the customer service on Turo is worse then the dmv stay away from this company

    Rented a basic car when our car was towed on Easter Sunday. Host was friendly and very flexible. Brought me back for a second rental and got a Superhost and the experience is still great. Really like the ease of renting on Turo, wide selection of vehicles and the fact that this app is for everyday people needing to make a little extra money. Just enjoy the friendliness of the hosts. Makes a huge difference.

    My host was not able to show up for the scheduled time and I had made arrangements to leave promptly after returning it. Hard to stand in the cold for 20 plus minutes hoping someone answers your texts.

    The host was able to file for damage and I never saw the claim or photos of the apparent damage, they just charged me for it. There was no info in the app on how to file for the claim, even though I bought insurance through them. It is not user friendly and hosts can 100% scam you. I’ve been contacting customer support and no one has gotten back to me. Will never use this app again and will highly recommend you don’t either.

    This is the best app and company if you need a short term or mid term rental and don’t have the money and time to deal with traditional car rental services. It is also great because you are interacting with actual owners and people within a community and not just some corporate worker who doesn’t care about your patronage and is simply doing their “job”. I would recommend Turo to anyone who needs a car for a period of time if your car is down or if you are traveling and just need to get around the city for a few days. Turo is basically the AirBnB of car rentals!!!!

    I’ve had multiple trips cancelled hours before trip time, leaving me scrambling to find other accommodations. At its genesis, this app seemed dialed, professional and convenient. It has degraded to inconsistent and uncompetitive at best. When a trip is cancelled, customer service apologizes and wishes you the best. The lack of support is frustrating. I used to recommend this app to friends, definitely do not anymore.

    My first experience with renting via Turo was awesome. My car was delivered and picked up at my hotel, saving massive time wasting at the airport. The host was extremely easy to communicate with via the Turo app. I had some flexibility in my schedule and contacted the host for an early pickup, which he was able to accommodate. Friendly and efficient beyond expectations!

    We had a flat tire and when we went to change it out there was no spare tire. Kashif (the driver we rented from) stated it was very common to not have spare but I know their are many customers (like ourselves) who assume there is one. We shelled out £90 for tire replacement and don’t feel that was fair since it was beyond our control. I am submitting the receipt for the tire company’s services and am hoping they will reimburse us. If they do reimburse, I will update the review. Aside from that, everything went well and the car ran great. This was first experience driving a hybrid and loved it!

    After reading reviews I highly suggest Turo gets shut down immediately. I have ok to good credit even on insurance. I’ve known about the app and saved it just in case I wild want to use it n just by this time I did need to. So I tried to book a car and went through the process it gives you a option sometimes to pay with Apple Pay and when I did it say my account was suspended. For no reason at all. I look through the app and the policy and I see no policy that has the reason of them rejecting my payment had I mentioned . I’m very disappointed in Turo they have no fast way to contact not even customer service

    At least in my area near a major airport, Turo is almost always higher priced (inc. fees, tax, insurance) with mileage limits (typically low) and not just on high end cars. On the other hand, if you're looking for a fun spin around town to use an exotic or try out a Tesla for a day, Turo might be an expensive option but could never see using for it for actual trip purposes. Unfortunately, Turo is not the Uber of car rental.

    A host (person lending vehicle) is able to have you waiting for hours to drop off and pickup without you being compensated. On the flip side if a guest (person renting vehicle) is late you will be charged. support has long hold times. Sometimes it’s cheaper but there are mile limitations... Avoid the 🤕

    I need a rental for a barely under a day like 17 hours anyway I downloaded with thru a bit of hell and irritation with the app. Then immediately I try to complete a transaction it tells me I don’t meet the criteria so I begin to laugh omw walking to Enterprise rental don’t fall for this app it’s some type of scam where people and the company make ridiculous money on over charging for the app and it’s mileage prices go to a regular enterprise or get zip car or car to go anything is better than this app
