My family & i (5 kids ages 1-15) caught a flat 2 hours into a 4 hour trip! There was no spare of course and roadside wasn’t dispatched for 2 hours after my initial call. The host tried to be helpful but Turo gave me a hard time. It took 4 hours for a tow to come, they refused to escalate & have a replacement vehicle until the car was back in possession of the owner, who was 3 hours away! Once the tow driver reported delivering the vehicle I was told no vehicles were available in the area. I was offered a $25 Uber voucher for a $250 ride either back home or to my original destination! They advised i cover a 3rd party rental or the remainder of the ride share service and they MIGHT reimburse me after an investigation is conducted! I was hung up on numerous times after asking for detailed information & etas! I asked if they’d assist in providing a hotel in the area & was told they couldn’t do this! This was a nightmare, I lost $500 for my resort! I would have never gone through this with a traditional rental service & honestly saving $150-$200 isn’t worth the hassle! I WOULD NEVER USE OR RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE AGAIN!!!!

I will skip the part where I clicked on a $48/day listing and end up with $86/day everything included.
Booked my first trip with Turo today and the host ask me to share my drivers license and a photo of me holding my drivers license via test message(to the host, not to Turo). A quick search shows this is common procedure as host need to verify my identity before remote had off. This is a huge privacy for me. I’d be ok with sharing my info with Turo but sharing my DL that contains my name, DOB and Address to a total stranger? No sir.
Turo this is your responsibility to verify the driver, get your x together.

Jeffrey was great! He was so accommodating when we had to modify our trip a couple times while we were trying to find a car to purchase. He responded so quickly to all of my messages which was amazing! The car was great for our family of 5 made our first week living on island more enjoyable.

We are new to the Turo community and at first we were skeptical about renting or car to complete strangers. However after doing more research and becoming more knowledgeable about how Turo vets all renters driving backgrounds, and authenticity; gave us peace and mind about who will be responsible for our car.
Being informed about their different coverage options to best fit our needs also a huge plus. The app is very easy to navigate through and with step-by-step instructions, makes it easy check in and out of each trip. We’ve only had two trips booked with our car and at the rate we’re going, i know it’ll definitely be worth the while.
Why not make money off your car if you don’t need it at the moment. Before apps like lyft, Uber and now TURO came out; the number one depreciating asset was a car. But now its an investment with being able to create income to pay for your car and make profits compared to constantly putting money into it.
This rating is 100% real and honest, im not being paid or influenced by incentives; apps like this are created to help create a business and earn income from nothing into something and because of that, I want to make sure this review helps other people like me who want/need the extra income to support their family.

I can’t give below one star. It’s the first time I see the web service that has limited time for leave a review(10 days). Then the hosts make trouble after that timeframe.
It should be open to avoid the customers to rent a car from a wrong person.

I was so new to Turo and my first trip was with a TESLA! I was terrified but it was such smooth communication. It was easy to join. I was able to rent immediately after joining and I had a great experience. Glad I pushed pass my fear of driving the new EV’s and I know Turo helped me expand my vehicle horizons. Not to mention the pick up was 3 mins from my house 😁😁

Not only does this give me the control to select the exact car I’d like to rent, but it also allows me to adjust my rental agreement easily. Hosts are accommodating and great at communicating. Honestly can’t say enough good things about my experiences with the app and the services.

I received great service. Darrien was professional, polite and patient. On pick up the airlines didn’t deliver my luggage. He came inside the luggage office and waiting while I dealt with filling of reports etc. I will certainly book with him again!!

I was very nerve to use Turo due to all of the scams that are going around. I looked for over a week before actually booking with Turo. I honestly prayed and God lead me to a specific person to rent from and instantly I booked with her and my expectations were exceeded. Thank you Turo for providing this service. One thing that I will say that I am a business owner who has corporate accounts with some of the major rental car companies and your fees are extremely high. With that said after this wonderful experience I would love to continue to use this service but I do recommend that you offer business accounts and lower the fees to use the service. I spent $1700.00 to rent a car for 10 days, was forced to take your insurance and I have full coverage personal insurance through liberty mutual with an umbrella policy that allows me to drive anything and I have commercial insurance. This should be optional and have the driver upload policy.
