    This app has great potential. When it actually works, it’s awesome. I often listen to TV on headphones while roaming my house doing mundane housework, gardening etc. When the app works, I can change channels, delete shows and catch up on shows w/o having to go to the TV. The app only works 3 out of 10 times (that’s being nice). My phone/iPad are synced to the cable box, the app is up to date, I’m within WiFi range, the cable box is fine. It’s beyond frustrating to have broken tech. And yes, I have tried turning it off and on again.

    I record programs on TV but cannot watch them away from home because I am told you can only watch a recorded program on the device you recorded it on. So.....my next question is...can I record a program or series on my iPad and watch it?

    This app is terrible. I’m constantly having issues with videos loading, freezing, or getting out of sync. It shouldn’t be this hard to be able to watch a show. If it weren’t for the condo I’m living in controlling what cable providers we have I’d go back to direct tv which had a much better app and services.

    Stop working for all channels at least 3-5 per month. Some channels that don’t work for a couple hours are very often. I used to have Xfinity app from Comcast and I never had this type of experience. So frustrated when you want to watch something and it does not work. They people who develop ed this app need to be fired!

    If I could I would give this a negative 0. Why can’t live tv work. It only works when it want to which is once a week and it always talking about failed code or something which means I can’t watch live tv. I even deleted the app and re long in nothing. Literally I have to wait for like the next day it will work. What’s the point of watching live tv away from home and it barely works. This is the worst. Can ya please fix the app better to make it better.

    This app is a let down. I have att U-verse and cell service so I should have data free tv. It even says so when I sign in. However every time I try and watch over cell service it uses my data. Called att and after two disconnects and 6 different people including two “supervisors” I’ve given up on my data overage charge. It also never seems to not be working quite often.

    Each commercial break has approximately five commercials. They don’t allow you to see how many you have left, how many seconds each one is or how many seconds you have left for each. It’s terrible and makes the app nearly unwatchable.

    This App is the worst. It's offered as a benefit to Uverse customers but the constant crashing & freezing is more of a pain than a benefit. I uninstall & reinstall at least once a day. HORRIBLE! ATT App rating is useless, you cannot rate unless you put in at least one positive thing. There's nothing positive going on here....Disappointing

    I used to have xfinity and it was so much better, but the service and the app. The AT&T U-verse app won’t even recognize the receiver on my network, and I’ve done all the troubleshooting and have read that this is a common issue due to a bug in the app. Seems silly to have the remote be such a major pet of the app and not support it. It’s also frustrating that I can’t watch local networks live on the app, even when on my home WiFi. This stuff just worked with Xfinity and I’m switching back to them as soon as they come to the area where I moved.

    I like the app most of the times.it looks sleek and easy to search for your favorite shows. But, i observed one bug which is quite annoying to enjoy the HD experience. When you try to watch a video on Demand or a Recording, the app doesn’t hide the bar below the video on my iphone X. I expect it will be hidden when I mirror my phone to apple tv. The ads come full screen on my TV and when the actual on demand video plays the annoying bar comes back and the resolution fits like a 4:3. Otherwise the app looks great and easy to use.

    The most recent version keeps logging me off, then will not let me log in for at least 4 hours after the first attempt and it will not remember to opt out of Nielsen ratings. Version 5.9 Build 3742.

    6/12/18 update - now that the deal with time warner clinched please dump the current U-verse app and adapt to the TWC app. I had it previously and is far superior. Prior review: Bar none this is the worst app I have ever used. I have the device literally next to the Wi-Fi modem and I have whole home Wi-Fi with Mimo technology connected to fiber optics. It’s glitchy, lags, freezes routinely, fails to load at times and just stops working. I would delete this app from every device I own if it weren’t part of my internet package.

    The app is continually quitting, saying “The U-verse mobile service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later. “ like, duh… I really need to be told it’s mobile? Has worked really well for a long time, and now it stops working, sometimes at least twice a day. This app is amazing when it works and is much easier to use than the actual remote, except for lack of mute and volume control. I never get more than two bars on my phone either, also an AT&T issue. It also pisses me off that I can’t get any app support - takes you right to the main AT&T website!

    I like using the app when I'm traveling but I think more channels should be available and less sports channels. It's more of those then other channels. I should be able to access local channels if I'm able to access cable channels.

    It has a guide that has a schedule with some data. You can’t search it. Sometimes it doesn’t load new data for several days. Sometimes you can’t record whats in the guide. You can typically see whats currently on your DVR. I don’t get the sense that this product is being maintained. I seems like a product that is getting phased out with every update.

    This app hasn’t worked for me for weeks, try to login and it says “the U-verse mobile service is temporarily unavailable, try again later”. Can’t stream anything that requires U-verse login. Typical tech BS, mess with it until it no longer works. If Comcast had FS2 I wouldn’t have AT&T anything as they really blow. Thanks!

    I’m on vacation and love that I can control my recordings from the ocean. I wanted to see marvels cloak and dagger and forgot to set the DVR Now I can do it right here from my balcony overlooking the Gulf of Mexico! thanks U-verse for this great feature!
