I ordered food an hour ago and I’m being charged extra because it’s “busy” I even took time although I’m injured and am not suppose to drive to drive to the place I ordered the food. Not busy at all... Scamming my money for nothing almost just teasing me. Horrible.

The customer service from Uber eats is absolutely atrocious. Orders get cancelled while they’re on the way all the time with no penalty to the driver, leaving the customer upset and hungry regularly. Uber provides NO compensation whatsoever, no credits for future orders, just a lame pre-written response apologizing for the inconvenience advising to replace the order. When food arrives that is damaged, cold, or just plain wrong, it’s still almost impossible to get the item refunded so you end up paying for the wrong/cold/damages food. The only success I’ve found is by disputing the charge directly with the bank and telling them how bad Uber’s customer service is.

Half my orders have gone wrong. No one reads the notes. Really unhappy but keep ordering from the app because I’m a busy mom and don’t have time but not pleased with how many orders have been wrong or switched and drivers can’t speak English to communicate.

They take forever to deliver anything. Whatever is “expected” is not even remotely close to what they say. The delay is unbelievable. If you cancel, you have to go through their customer service which might be as bad at calling Comcast. Even then they will still charge you the full amount.

I had been traveling for work for a week and after several flight delays I finally made it home at 11:45pm. Thinking I was making the “easy” choice, I decided to place an order through uber eats. Original estimated delivery time: 15-20 minutes. After an hour, I still had not received my food. I checked the app, only information was a new estimated delivery time of 2:00am and a status of “delayed”. Since this estimate meant I would be receiving my order over two hours after originally placing it, I called customer service. All I was told was that a new driver had been assigned but they had no ETA. Okay, so no accountability anywhere? After repeatedly checking the app, I still did not have my food by 2:00am. When I called back, customer service told me they had no new information. By now every other restaurant is closed so I have literally no other options. Customer service offered to refund my money for the order I never received (gee, thanks so much guys!) but refused to compensate me for the fact that I was now left with no other options since their failed estimates, customer service, and restaurant partners were so incompetent throughout the whole process. There are way too many competitors these days, delete uber eats and use one of the millions of other options.

I’m not usually one to write reviews, however I’ve had a terrible experience with this app and customer service was terrible. I placed an order and it gave me an estimated arrival time, and kept pushing it back for almost an hour. My order sat at the restaurant as there were no uber drivers in the area to pick up the order to deliver it and customer service insisted someone was there every time I called even though there was not. How can an app that is focused on delivering food allowing orders to go through when there is no one to complete the service? Uber wouldn’t allow you to pay for a ride without someone in the area to give you one so I do not understand how this application is programmed. Very disappointed.

Restaurants are hit or miss, but Uber customer service is inconsistent in fixing problems. This means you will lose money when Uber refuses to refund for incorrect or missing food, unless you dispute the charge with your credit card company.

Great app! But please be more forgiving in placing orders. I accidentally hit the “place order” button and there is no way to change the order or quickly cancel it without incurring a fee. Accidents happen, there should be a safe guard in place to allow for mistaken button pressing.

Second time since I’ve had the app I have accidentally submitted order before I was finished and it was immediately sent to restaurant. Immediately called back both times to cancel, which in and of itself was a huge hassle. Would it be too hard to add a CONFIRM button before sending order and charging me?!

First I had UberEats for a little bit and I had made 1 or 2 orders without problem, but after not eating the whole day I made an order at 9. So, everything was doing just fine and it was supposed to deliver at 9:45. Then it changed to 9:50, 9:55, 10:00 and so on until 10:15 and at about 10:10 after finally waiting so wrong and getting ready to eat they just canceled the order on me. It’s really annoying cause I wasted my time just to get a cancel after 2 hours with no compensation at all. It is pretty ridiculous and just annoying!

I guess we are 80% with uber eats. Delivery has been excellent but 1 in 5 deliveries are off (order not correct, cold, not fresh). Is that Uber’s fault? But by comparison the same Chinese direct delivery is more consistent. In general the food system is better off with Ueats.

i don’t really appreciate the fact that i’m paying 6 dollars for a delivery every time and yet they still allow for a pool of deliveries from regular ppl who haven’t been trained in delivering
i have had multiple occasions where the food i order had missing items - why not tell the uber drivers to check that the order was complete before you let them leave the store. just like any regular person would do when they pick up their food.
i have had my food delivered cold cause the uber drivers don’t have bags to keep the food warm. or decide to have their windows open while driving (in the cold...)
customer service is alright most of the time they will give you back your money. but its still pretty frustrating.

I had an issue and they solved NOTHING! The quality of the food was terrible and when I contacted them the first time they said I would have to contact the actual facility which makes sense. When I contacted the facility the manager told me that because I ordered through a 3rd party(UBER Eats) that they would have to be the ones to issue the refund because they had no control over it. So I contacted Uber Eats for the 2nd time and was told sorry for the inconvenience but my purchase couldn’t be compensated. I sent a picture of the food to show proof and that still wasn’t good enough. This is unacceptable and I will definitely be deleting the app! I strongly suggest not using Uber Eats!!!!!

I ordered a salad from uber eats and it was missing something. I contacted them and they were very difficult. First they wouldn’t answer my question: if they distribute refunds or if I need to contact the restaurant. Then after asking multiple times they finally said they are the ones who distribute refunds and that I would not get a refund. They told me I could rate the restaurant instead. That’s not ok. I bought something I did not receive. Deleting this app.

I finally figured out how to tip Uber eats drivers and as soon as my order/driver was parking I tipped them and that person left with my food and well with what I tipped her over the phone. I am extremely upset and this person needs to get fired and should get put in jail for not only taking advantage of the fact that I paid for the service but for my food and tip that she stold.

Used to love this app, really it’s more the service than the app. The last couple of times the order has been delivered wrong, or with missing items. In Uber’s defense we always get a credit, however, a credit isn’t very useful when someone’s food isn’t delivered.
God forbid you change your number because you get a new phone your uber account is f***ed for life they will not help you fix it. They don’t let you change your number or password via email like ever other billion dollar company. They are lazy and stupid. I would advise to get Grub Hub or Delivery dudes for drivable meals. Also lyft is always almost half price on each ride.

This app is trash I ordered my food over an hour ago from somewhere that is 5 mins away from me and i ordered 3 items it shouldn’t take this long for me to get my food i called and all they said was “ give them time “ I’ve given them time and i want my money back because where is my food at.

Way too expensive delivery fee. It wouldn’t cost me $5 to drive to some of these restaurants nearby. My food may already be expensive so adding that fee is pretty harsh

No puedo creer que una empresa como es uber no pueda resolver este problema el uber que llevo mi comida se escondió de mi y se la llevo, y ustedes solo pudieron decir que el espero el tiempo determinado para darme la comida cuando el se escondió, se robó mi comida, mande mails y su única respuesta esque no puedes hacer nada, que fácil se lavan las manos, si ustedes contratas ese tipo de personas sin ver como son o hacer un test de personalidad antes, así que están contratando ladrones, personas agresivas o asesinos que podemos esperar si no les importa el bienestar de uno, si no el suyo de ganar dinero a costas de los demás, jamás volveré a usar esta aplicación en mi vida!
