I was skeptical at first about using this service. After yesterday’s (1st) try I was amazed! Great service n convenient. I’m super busy at work always n don’t really have the luxury of driving around looking for something to eat. Ubereats just made my life a bit easier! Thank you! Keep up the great work.

Uber Eats needs to check their delivery guys! I waited 1 hour for my food to arrive (food picked up at 9:06, delivered 9:58). Called Uber Eats and had to fight for a refund only to receive a 50% refund. Delivery guys was difficult to contact and was unapologetic for being late. Deleting this app now.

Up until today I ordered uber eats all the time. For the most part they were pretty good with the occasional order coming a little cold and what not. However my most recent order was delivered ice cold. It takes a lot for me to not enjoy the food but when I have to microwave breakfast food because it’s that cold then it’s a problem. Not only did it arrive cold but a friend ordered food 15 minutes after my order and somehow that order arrived 10 minutes before mine. Customer service said “it falls within our order window” so basically sorry our service took forever and the $70 food order you placed came completely cold but tough. Last order I’ll place with uber eats I’ll ride with lyft and order from grub hub their customer service is great! Hopefully that new CEO works on the customer service.

I have been an avid user of bitesquad, a different food delivery company. I decided to give Uber eats a try. The difference between the customer service is shocking. They do not give you any compensation on Uber eats for ridiculously long wait times (2 hours at times) Also, customer service told me that I couldn’t cancel my order, and if I did I would not be refunded. So now I’m waiting on food that I know is sitting around and getting old. The only plus is some of their restaurants are open later, that’s about it. I don’t normally leave reviews, even more so negative ones. However, the customer service was really disappointing.

ordered from here multiple times on my friend's phone and sometimes had no problems, great service....but then other times our food had either not been delivered or flat out had been eaten by the driver. after reading online it seems like i'm not the only person with this problem, if you fix that issue the app will be perfect

I ordered from a restaurant shortly before their closing time. I hesitated to order because of the time, but the Uber Eats app allowed me to order and said that my order was being confirmed by the restaurant, updated me with an estimated delivery time, and then, after 45 minutes, informed me that my food was on its way. Five minutes later, I received a message from the driver saying, “[Restaurant] is closed,” followed by another short, unhelpful message, “Contact Uber.” The driver then cancelled my order, and there was nothing I could do about it. It is ridiculous that I was able to believe for almost an hour that my food was on the way, when the order had not even been confirmed with the restaurant in the first place (though the app told me that the order had been confirmed). In that time, I could have been securing an order with a restaurant that was actually going to complete my order. Instead, any other place I could have used is now closed as well, after an hour of thinking my order was being processed.

Lost pizzas, JARED! 1/5
On July 7, we placed an order with Uber Eats for Lo-Fi pizza. We have had their pizza several times before, and we’re really looking forward to it. The kids had been swimming all day, and everyone was starving!
We ordered three pizzas, and were told 35 minutes. That changed to 45, 50, etc. at almost an hour, as I was standing in the driveway, I received a notification from “Jared” that the pizzas had been delivered. They were nowhere in sight! I immediately called the restaurant. They remembered my order, my name, and that they had handed them to an Uber driver.
I would like to know how “Jared” could have handed three pizzas to an unsuspecting neighbor? Because I would really like to know what happened to those pizzas!
In the meantime, we scrambled to stuff quesadillas down the kids before they went nuts, and the adults just starved!
Uber did refund my payment, but come on, Jared, what did you do with those pizzas?!?!?
App failed to notify me of dropped order 1/5
I placed an order at 4:15pm with a scheduled delivery window of 6-6:30pm. The app had no problem capturing my payment but when the restaurant failed to respond to the request, absolutely no effort was made to notify me. Only after 6:30pm had passed and I hunted down the customer support line was I told that my order never successfully reached the restaurant and that my order would be cancelled. When asked if they would issue a credit for 2.5+ hours of wasted time and no dinner t show for it, I was told that was not possible. Not possible for Uber to issue a disappointed customer a credit for a failed order?!?! Awful. I promptly deleted the app from my phone.

waiting an hour and a half for our food only to find out they canceled on us and did absolutely nothing for us besides refund our money...in 3-5 business days. We were told we could have 5 dollars put on our account only to talk to someone else who said they can’t do it. Will never order from them again. this one experience was enough to delete this app and uber off my phone. grub hub and lyft it is, for me!

It’s a really convenient app to use better than most delivery services don’t have to many issues with my orders food typically arrives fast and hot. The only issue I have is when I order real late night and have to wait a little longer for some one to accept the trip.

Don’t use this service if you have kids and are expecting your food when they say it’ll be delivered. It never is and planning bedtime around this is quite the nightmare!! I haven’t once had anything delivered within 30 min of “On Time”

Half of my order was delivered, so my son ended up eating my food. Sent a message to the driver with an instant message back saying not available. Sent a message on the app and after 30 minutes of no response I googled for a customer service number because it was not to be found on the app or uber website. After waiting another 30 minutes for someone to answer, the woman did not understand a thing I said. After 15 minutes of explaining the problem over and over again, she finally understood and offered to refund the food that was missing or re-deliver it. But why have it redelivered after over an hour of waiting for a solution? Waste of time and money. Don’t bother.

I have tried the App 2x now.. the first time, I waited over an hour before having to call support to get it cancelled. The 2nd time, it took over an hour and I got a notice that it could not be finished. I understand the fact that it has to do where there are drivers.. I’m just really not impressed with the times I’ve tried to use it. Maybe make it so if they are waiting for 30 mins for a driver to cancel? Rather then 1+ hours?

The service is good, but if the app says food will be delivered in 25 minutes, make that 60 minutes. It always gives completely unreasonable estimates when you order, and then you'll slowly see the delivery time creep up once the order is placed. It will creep up 5 minutes at a time, to further insult your intelligence. Once I called uber to ask where the driver was, and they said he was 15 minutes away from the restaurant. What did the app show? Delivery in 10 minutes. He would deliver food before picking it up... Why does the app give false estimates? Do you need better software engineers?
I just get things incorrect a lot of the time. And there is no way for them to bring it to me. And owe me things but no way for me to get it through app.. but it’s very convenient. I like it a lot.

The customer service system appears to be now fully functional! Alot of orders can be messed up and now we can leave it for the support team to offer refunds and other available solutions to the accident.

My daughter placed an order with my card only because she had a code to use, which didn’t work even though it said it was applied. I couldn’t even cancel the order, the restaurant never answered the phone. I then called Uber Eats who just told me I’m still going to get charged no matter what. Never will I use this app✌🏽

I have seen advertising from my local restaurants that they support Uber eats. I decided to try it out since I have had 3 days off in a row. The restaurants that I want to order from are either closed or always unavailable. What is the point of advertising that they support Uber eats yet I can never order from them. SMH

I was very satisfied with the options on UBER eats and the timeliness of deliveries. However, it depends on the area one is in, and sometimes drivers are not able to meet at dormitories after a certain hour.
