Position to either lose money we cannot afford or drive intoxicated. Guess what we’ve chosen due to our status? So I will not be using Uber eats ever again. I much prefer door dash who is more personalized and who understands when mistakes happen. Also, faster delivery times. Door dash is 5:5, Uber eats isn’t worth a rating.

the latest update is absolute trash! not just me, but most of my friends found it completely pointless. it was very useful, but the last 6 times me or my friends have ordered, the arrival was way late and it’s just SUPER inconvenient now! so i will have to use postamates or whatever out there. 1 star for this rubbish.

They lie to you about their estimated delivery time, they keep on moving the goal post about the delivery window because the delivery person didn’t pickup the order yet. Of course you can’t contact or rate a delivery person unless they actually pickup your order which mine never did. Then when you call customer support they swear that the delivery person is right there about to pickup the order when the app clears shows she’s a mile away. They suggest you wait thirty more minutes for an order that has already been delayed by thirty minutes or that they’ll have to charge you for it because it’s somehow your fault for expecting your food to be delivered within a reasonable amount of time. When you wish to complain about the terrible customer service, the customer service representatives pretend as if they are too busy to help you out and keep on insisting they have to deal with customers who have issues, as if I am not one of those and some lie about putting us through to the supervisors put us on hold and hang up on us instead. The ones who has the audacity to ask you to wait for 30 more minutes doesn’t like when I ask her to wait for 5 more minutes and says she has to hangup because she’s Queen Victoria waiting to address her subjects. So don’t bother ordering through here unless you wish for a similar experience where they will lie to you about everything, pretend as if you’re not an important customer and steal your money for an order you’ve never received.

you still can. Or else be ready to wait 2 hours for you food on an expected wait time of 20-30 mins. You’ll be hungry, angry and charged for cancelling if you try to go that route. And now you can’t see the GPS and you don’t even get a notification when your food arrives. Last time I ever use this app.
Edit: They literally just robbed me. Took my money never made the delivery and there’s nothing I can do. This isn’t fair.

Hice una orden y el motociclista canceló la entrega estando a 5 minutos de mi casa, pasados los 40 minutos de haber hecho la orden. El call center no puede dar una solución concreta al problema ni ayudarme a recibir mi orden. El restaurante del que habia ordenado me confirmó que sí despacharon mi orden pero que cuando cancelan el servicio, son los de UberEats que se quedan la comida. Les pusiera 0 estrellas si fuera posible.

Almost every time I use Uber eats, my food takes at least an hour or more to get to me. Not to mention, I had a driver claim that the order was delivered and he never even made it to my apartment. I was out $17 for that order. I have been a an Uber eats customer for over two years and have spent well over $4000 in that time. Extremely disappointed in the terrible customer service, use Favor or Door Dash instead.

I just placed an order and by mistake put the wrong address. I realized it like in two second, when I tried to cancel the order they were going to charge me 90% of the order. That is abusive! I cannot uderstand why would you charge almost the whole price for a cancelation that was just made. I realized that this was my mistake, but not even three seconds passed and you guys are charging me 90%?? That is not acceptable.

It’s a great idea but I’ve had multiple occasions where the orders don’t show up. Then it is impossible to get a hold of Uber to help. The restaurants fill the orders and the drivers don’t follow through and there’s nothing you can do. In some cases the driver has never picked up the order but closed it out as if they did. In other cases drivers have stolen the food.
Update: July 17, 2019
Attempted to use again. As I got close to the time the order was to arrive uber notified me that the restaurant isn't going to fill the order. I waited 30 min to get my order declined without reason. Nothing but terrible experiences with this app.

The bugs are really frustrating when you’re in a rush trying to save time and frustration. Randomly deletes your order or tells you the restaurant isn’t available halfway through. When it works it’s really nice though. Overall, I’m going to try another app.

I have given uber eats PLENTY of chances and almost every time I have a bad experience. I’m writing this following my THIRD experience where no one showed up with my food. This time the driver labeled it as delivered and left. I was downstairs within 2 mins of getting the “arriving soon” message. In the past I’ve also had the restaurant make the food, and then uber couldn’t find a driver for over an hour. I’ll be deleting this app.

Hello, Can you please extend Uber eats in Puerto Rico?! I was in Caguas, Puerto Rico and I wanted to order some food and when I click, Uber eats can only deliver in half of the city. It’s a bit frustrating because I was in caguas and only half of it Uber eats couldn’t deliver. Please extend your services. Thank you.

I had accidentally clicked the wrong address and cancelled my order as soon as it allowed me to. I was still charged for the order. When I contected Ubereats support, I was informed that they would give me a refund in 3-5 business days. It has been a week (6 business days) and still havent recieved my refund. Never using uber eats again.

Use ANY other food delivery app. Our food took over and he past the expected delivery time and all the customer service rep (based in India) said was I’m sorry. Uber has gotten too big and out of control, their service has ranked as a result. I would be doubtful to trust any of the reviews that make the app sound revolutionary.

I live in Arizona and it is the middle of summer with temps up to 115 degrees. For some reason it’s acceptable for uber eats to have deliveries sent by bicycle. I understand that in many places this is fine because the temperatures are not as extreme, however that is not acceptable for this time of year in AZ. The ice in my drink was completely melted and the drink tasted watered down and warm. The food was rubbery l like it had been blasted in a microwave because it was just roasting in the heat for 15-20 mins while the person biked multiple miles from the restaurant. I ended up tossing the food because it tasted awful, and contacted the support team asking for assistance/reimbursement. They essentially blamed the restaurant and said they couldn’t offer any credits. I replied stating this had nothing to do with the restaurant, and entirely with the method of delivery. Their response....THE EXACT SAME COPY PASTED RESPONSE FROM THE FIRST EMAIL. What a joke of a company when it comes to taking care of their customers, and being accountable for mistakes. Very disappointed and will not be using their service again.
Uber eats never keeps me signed in and I never remember the password. I really can’t say anything about the service... I’ll open the app to order and it’s a process getting in every time. I have 5 delivery apps on my phone and I’ll always just use a different app. The one that keeps me signed in.

No way to communicate with the “cowboys” of Uber. Despite all the media releases, chicken licken is not available on Uber Eats. No way to communicate with anyone from Uber or chicken licken is disappointing

Uber Eats is definitely my favorite food delivery app to use, but the GPS is off by several hundred feet so it takes my drivers forever to actually find me and I have to spend so much time on the phone trying to direct them to my location. For some reason the app also will no longer let me see my driver’s car icon so it makes the whole giving them directions process that much harder if I can’t see on the map where they actually are. I’ve tried deleting and re-downloading the app and restarting my phone, but nothing seems to help. I also can’t find an option in the app to report any issues with the GPS. I’ve had a lot of drivers complain about it to me.

Honestly, their service is horrendous. Half the time my food is cold or wrong. They’ll charge almost the entirety of the bill if you have to cancel because it was under the wrong address, which somehow mysteriously changes. Their service fees and delivery fees are higher. You’re better off with doordash or postmates. There’s no way ubereats rating is actually 4.8 they have to pay people to fluff their score. All the thumbs down.

Used to use Uber eats on a regular basis.
Today was the last straw. I work HARD for my money. I ordered my food at 11:30. Estimated delivery time was 12:20, I thought ok it's a little later because of the lunch rush. Well time went on and so did the estimated delivery time. I watched it slowly creep up from 12:20 (which was already near an hour from the order time) to 1:15...I kid you not. I called support and said I need to cancel, she said if I did then I'd still be charged, that the carrier has picked up the food and is delivering someone else's food at the same time, in the freaking opposite direction! What the HELL?! The driver sent me a message saying it was going to be late. I told him I don't care, I'm not waiting two hours for my food. So I call customer support AGAIN and demand that they cancel the order and give me a refund. Once they located the driver and saw the wait time they finally agreed and refunded my money...🙄🤷🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️
I cannot believe the compete disregard this company has for it's customers. I hope they go out of business. I deleted the app and I used to be an avid user! As far as I'm concerned Uber and Uber eats can go to hell.

This was my first time using Uber Eats. I was sending dinner to a friend who recently started radiation treatments and his family. I ordered ahead.
Uber canceled the order on the last minute of the window they committed to deliver the food. I spoke with the restaurant and they said they never even received the order, but that this happens sometimes. That maybe Uber didn't allocate a driver for the order. I will not be trusting this app again.
The fact that this app has such high ratings makes me wonder if the company didn’t buy positive reviews.

I'm posting this here since there's no way to submit app feedback on Uber's website, and I'm unable to access the support section in the app itself because of said bug.
When trying to checkout in the app, my order would not process. To troubleshoot the issue, I tried to sign out of my account and then sign back in. However, when attempting to sign back in it starts walking me through the process of creating a new Uber Eats account. It does not give me the option to sign in with an existing account. The app won't even let me access any of the help or support options until an account is signed in, but again, there's no option given to sign in with an existing account. It only provides the initial steps to creating a brand new account. I know my account is still valid as it still allows me to sign into my account via a web browser on my computer and submit orders through there, but I'm no longer able to sign into my account through the app itself.
UPDATE: I was contacted by the developer who obviously did not read the above description. They told me that if I already have an account that I can sign into the app using the same credentials, so I'll explain it again and leave up my initial 1 star rating until they finally understand. After deleting the mobile app and reinstalling it onto my phone, opening the app does not give me the option to sign into an existing account. It only walks me through creating a new account. It does give me the option to "Skip for now", but upon selecting this option and then trying to go into the account option (bottom right icon), it online gives me the option to enter a phone number and start walking you through the creation of a new account. If you don't understand what I'm talking about, someone with Uber support, please try replicating the issue on your own device by signing out of your account in the mobile app, deleting said app, reinstall the app again, and reattempt signing into your existing account. Trust me when I say that is not working for me, because it's not giving me the option to sign into an existing account.

Uber eats is literally the worst delivery service on the planet. Worst fulfillment, worst customer service. Drivers can cancel orders at will whenever they feel like it. It can be 1 minute away, and then the driver can cancel the order and abscond with your pizza. Uber does NOTHING for you, other than say “sorry you haven’t been charged”...... of course I haven’t been charged. Your driver is the one who didn’t deliver my order to me.
What a terrible way to do business, no accountability for your customer’s orders.
And no good answers for your customers when they ask “what can you do for me?”
