I’ve ordered food and it’s like these people can’t get these things right. Constantly messing up on my order. Ok so it’s really the restaurants fault but who knows if it was said correctly. And you would think they’d check the order before leaving. Tonight I don’t even know what I got. Placed an order at Taco Bell and received something different. When chatting with CS, apparently I couldn’t get a refund. So I asked for a credit. Didn’t even happen. It’s like I was talking to a robot. I switched to Uber Eats from Favor and now l be switching to Postmates

Here is the situation... I put an order with a local restaurant. There were three different drivers assigned to pick it up, none of whom did ever pick up the order, and my order was canceled after the third one did not pick it up. At this point, an hour after I ordered and long after the “no later than” time provided by the app, the restaurant had closed. I spent over an hour waiting for food never came.
So I called the customer service line that is listed in the app. I asked them if they could tell me what had occurred. They could not. I told them that I had wasted an hour, and that at this point any other restaurant that I ordered from with require a service fee that the place that I was ordering from did not. I asked for an account credit to cover that or to compensate me for my lost time.
I was told that they were unable to do that because of the procedures they had in place in their office. I asked for a supervisor. He told me the same thing except that I could send an email complaint. I asked for his supervisor and the lady told me the same thing.
So here’s my problem. Customer service doesn’t have the ability to serve a customer. They can’t answer a question, and they can’t compensate somebody when things go wrong. I spent 45 minutes on the phone with them I have no more information that I had when I started. I have no compensation. All I got from “customer service” was more angry. I’ve been an UberEats customer for three years, ever since UberEats came to Las Vegas, and I can’t get a simple credit when the service messes up in such a spectacular way?
Edit: Uber did contact me and make things right. It doesn’t erase the experience, which I will leave up, but they DID respond to the email, and I have updated my star rating accordingly.
Edit Two: The service problems continue. I use this service during lockdown, but afterwards I will delete it.

I live in nyc and during lockdown every single order i had from uber eats arrived late and cold or damaged.
Now i was in California, and figured it may not be as bad here, and i was very wrong.
The order arrived late; the driver kept driving around in circles and getting lost to the point where the food was completely cold and stale when it arrived.
The address was on a Main Street not hard to get to at all.
UberEATS is refusing a refund as they have with every order i tried to get reimbursed for, when it was bad.
The drivers are always rude and never follow instructions in the least.
Do not waste your money. Use door dash or seamless; much more consistent and speedy deliveries. This app should be banned it’s so bad.

I’ve been using Uber eats for a long time now and the service is just getting worst. Sometimes when I order things it’s either I never receive them or I get something else. Recently I tired to cancel my order because they were taking longer than usual they wouldn’t let me. They told my order wasn’t in the system and they closed the conversation. Now I had so many issues with the app but today was my last straw and I deleted the app never again will I order from Uber eats. Worst app ever 😡😡😡😡

This was my first time using the app. We order in plenty of time before chipotle closed, but apparently a driver was never assigned to our order. So... after waiting over a hour, and after chipotle was now closed, our order was cancelled. I will not bring using this app again.

I’ve just started using Uber Eats. And I have already had missing items and messed up orders. I received a refund previously, although it was appreciated, it doesn’t help when you and your family are hungry and waiting for delivery only to not have everything you paid for. Now I didn’t get refunded for the items missing nor did I get a response in a timely manner.

I’m highly disappointed with Uber Eats. They don’t respect costumers rights. I made an order trough the app. I understand now because of COVID it’s a little delayed but it was horrible experience. I ordered drink with ice cream inside. First of all it took like 40 minutes for restaurant to make it. Delivery guy was terrible!! He was driving in completely opposite direction for almost an hour! I texted him and he was like “ I had to pee”. I understand we are all humans but driving for an hour!! After contacting the costumer service I didn’t get much help. I got 50% refund and the rest put into wallet. Which I don’t want. I’m not going to use this app every again. I’m sending messages but I’m getting non stop blocked. Terrible! I recommend you to use other apps like Postmates or DoorDash.

Made my first order but it NEVER came 1/5
The app said that the latest arrival was an HOUR after I ordered it but it still never came. The restaurant I ordered it from wasn’t very far from my home either so I don’t know what the problem was (no traffic or bad weather either). Never using this app again and never recommending it to anyone either. I would rate -5 stars if possible.
Not satisfied with Uber Eats Driver 1/5
I ordered food but when the driver arrived to my home the order was incomplete. Once the driver left I had no way of reaching him. I think there should be a way to contact the driver just as you can with a regular Uber driver.
Terrible App and terrible customer service 1/5
I don’t even desire to start typing out all that’s wrong with this app. All I know I it made me appreciate doordash. Their customer service is excellent compared to Uber eats where it takes them one hour to respond to a message without resolving the issue. Then the app is incredibly slow and glitchy.

I had an order for outback and my order was sitting at the restaurant for over an hour and no delivery driver decided pick up my order I called the restaurant to asking if I should come pick up my order and they said they don’t if it would be a good idea in case the Uber driver got to restaurant before me to pick up my order I canceled my order and was charged a 16 dollar fee for my order being canceled and I also read the policy saying if a driver is unable to pick up your order they will not refund you I was highly upset because I suffer from a chronic issue which requires me to eat every two hours and I’m not always able to leave the house or cook if only they were able to have a customer service number where you can reach them to help better assist with your order now I’m hungry and upset and tired and ended up ordering fast food instead shame on y’all for not having better communication with your customers

Tried 2x. Both times orders were wrong and one was over 1.5 hours late. They simply don’t care. The second order was over $100 for my bday. It was cold. Coastal Flats is a treat but driver delivered several orders. They barely reimbursed anything. This is not their swim lane.
Achei uma falta de respeito, fiz o pedido do restaurante Point Brasil, domingo dia 20 de setembro as 7:47pm, fiquei aguardando com fome, a entrega seria no máximo 8:45pm, quando de repente 8:50pm meu pedido foi cancelado. E agora estou com fome, por que não cancelou quando fiz o pedido, me deixou esperando 1 hora e depois cancelar. Falta de respeito.

Eats Pass Purchase Issue 2/5
I’ve been trying to purchase an Eats Pass for awhile but have not been successful due to an error in my account. I’ve talked to customer support multiple times but they have not helped me resolve the issue, only addressed it and now stopped replying. The only thing I thought of was to delete my account and wait the 30 days until my information is deleted and I can restart. The app itself is great but I wish I could’ve gotten the help sooner and more efficiently.
This is the 3rd order in a row where we paid for drinks and none were delivered. We are done with you. We contacted the drivers and one said it was the restaurants fault. Total BS.

Ubereats is an absolute failure. They remind me of that awkward section at Sears that sold the mattresses, yeah that weird section close to the entrance of your local museum, I mean mall. Why do they exist? Overpriced and so many other options. Designed to fail, zero support.

I COULDNT EVEN VERIFY MY OWN PHONE NUMBER. If you want go order food and not starve while looking at it go to Doordash. They actually have pictures of their food and some pretty good deals too. The delivery fees for some of these places are sad and this app is barely operational and you more than likely need a customer service agent to help you even sign up or order food, this app is the worst but don’t take my word for it try yourself, or save yourself the struggle and do the right thing, Download Doordash. It also makes me wonder where all your 5 star reviews come from when I see so many negative ones and the fact I haven’t read a single one above 3 stars on the App Store. Have a nice day, please delete your app for the sake of humanity.

Today I waited 2 hours for my food, the restaurant calls me and said my food has been sitting, done for a while. They don’t let us contact anyone until they picked it up, and when you press help . There’s no help! So 2 hours go by and I look at my phone again and it said.... “driver cancelled the order due to waiting to long” they waited 2 minutes outside,,,, against me waiting 2 hours. I don’t like uber eats anymore!

Driver drove to my door - then took off - never got my food - Uber did not refund the tip. I’m going back to call in / self pick up. To many hidden fees and unreliable drivers. No more...canceling account.

Ordered food at 3:50pm for a 5-5:30 delivery. Received ordered at 5:40. Called restaurant and found our food was ready at 5pm. Will never order again. Just can’t get a driver to come directly and on time

This app this company is absolutely ridiculous looks like they’re checking out soon no one wants to work for them and they don’t wanna work for no one, I guess they made their money already so long uber you will be the thing in the past.
This is the worst delivery service out there. I’ve waited over 2 hours for food, the drivers won’t deliver unless you pay 20 dollars for delivery. I will never use this app again.

Multiple times we have ordered food and have had to wait an hour and a half to get our food even going to pick it up because the restaurant we pick says they just received our order it had been over an hour.

I primarily use other apps for food, but I was given a gift card for Uber Eats for Christmas, so I thought I’d give it a try. When I downloaded it, the app said my gift card had expired. Nowhere on the card is any expiration date. Deleted the app and used DoorDash instead.
Only positive is that the UI of the app seemed decent.

Thought I’d give out UberEats a try since a restaurant I enjoy uses it. Experiencing another issue.... again. Every time I use this app there’s an issue. No support whatsoever either. I ordered from a restaurant only to get a call from the restaurant saying they don’t open for another hour. I’m going to have to wait until they open to get my order and if this goes the way it usually does with Uber Eats, I don’t get my food and they don’t process a refund.
Obscure Errors lead me to use better competitors 2/5
So after I forgot to cancel my trial for their premium subscription service and they charge me 100 dollars for an automatically selected annual subscription, I decided to use Uber eats once more. Upon trying to checkout, I keep getting an error that’s telling me there’s an issue with my payment option(s), so I look at my payment options, I re-entered my PayPal information, another error, tried linking my Venmo, another error, then the old fashioned way punching in my card numbers that only lead to.. another error. I then closed the application, uninstalled, and had my order placed and on the way in a matter of 2 minutes on Doordash’s website. When your competitors mobile site functions better than your dedicated app that you shoved down my throat to download, you’re doing something wrong. Garbage service.

I’m glad for the 3% cash back when used with the Apple Card, but the interface design is atrocious.
DoorDash gets it right. I hope these designers start taking cues from the DoorDash app.
My first time using the app it took over an hour after many drivers cancelled on us and then the app ended up cancelling it for us. I got a full refund but was very disappointed.
WORST ADDRESS GLITCHES 1/5
I have never had so many stupid glitches in an app before. I put in an order and it confirmed the delivery address with me, but when the order was “delivered” the driver contacted me and said it directed him to another restaurant to drop off my order. I tried making another order and it did the exact same thing and the promotion I used before can’t be applied because it was used on the first order.

Uber usually was a wonderful service to use
But now I don’t recommend, we are humans so we all made mistakes so it’s been couple mistakes I let it pass no big deal always got to resolve things, but lately first big incident I see the drive was close to me so I was texting explain details to make easier the drive to my apt he pay no attention he delivery my food to other apts he don’t get the time to read or answer no call so I made complaint got my money back after waiting for hour or more kids hungry go bed with out eat. Them offer me $5 gift because was their mistake never got them , them things happen I decide to other other time same I see driver close on my area explain they don’t call or text they just went away with food . 🤦♀️ now lately it’s been two times I order it take one to two hours . And them they got service fee, delivery fee taxes and if small order small order fee but they getting this bad service am not lazy to go out and grab I have a special needs kid wich is really hard sometimes to go out to stores or grab food no recomendable am planning to use another service for delivery soon
