I ordered food from McDonald’s via this app-they took the money from bank account-but my food never showed up. The delivery driver “Mercedes H” never showed up and neither did my food. I lost $40

THIS APP HAS THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!! I have never in my life waited so long for food. TWO HOURS after the latest delivery time I get a text message that my food was getting picked up. It is DISGUSTING the Icecream was completely melted and everything was cold. The soda wasn’t even fizzy. There isn’t even someone to contact about this I have to pay for food that has been sitting out for over three hours!!!!!!! OH! AND THIS HAPPENS ALL THE TIME!!!

I wish I could give it 0 stars. Unless you are in a “popular” city you aren’t going to get anything. The customer service is abysmal. I would recommend that you don’t waste your time or money using this service.

I’ve order from Uber eats a couple of times. The restaurant choices are classic comfort food places so don’t expect anything fancy. The app itself is nicely made and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. My one major issue is the fact that I have a couple experiences where I order something and it doesn’t get delivered. It says it was delivered but I never received any food. It is one of the most infuriating things ever.

You guys make it close to impossible to get a hold of you if a mistake is made. As I’ve said numerous times it is not good business affects and I also feel that you don’t pay your driver is enough for all the work they go through to make you guys wealthy and greedy. Today was my very first time ordering with Uber eats. I ordered from Moe’s Southwest grill. This was not a good experience at all. The driver seemed lost and did not know her way around. My food arrived very soggy, also missing sauces for both orders for me and my son, and my burrito was missing it’s main ingredient which is Steak. I am so frustrated that there is not a phone number that I can call for customer service and nobody has reached me yet to rectify the problem. First impression of this service was whack

Every time I use Uber Eats I have to change my address. This time I changed the address before ordering and it was still going to the wrong address. An address I have never used before. I canceled the order thinking I would go back in and reorder and make sure the address was correct and it charged me 12.00. I will NEVER USE THIS APP AGAIN.

I’d really appreciate having better help options in your app to connect with a live person. After you click on a topic there’s a section on the bottom that says can I help you with something else. If you click yes it redirects you to the help page which only serves to aggravate me further.
DoorDash has the same restaurant but their prices are cheaper by $4 for almost every dish. I was going to bring it to your attention but there’s no way to do this. DoorDash wins again.

I tried to place an order. The app says "Internal Server Error". But they billed my account anyway. That was all the funds I had in that account and now I am not getting dinner as a result.
Their app provides no means for me to contact them as they do not recognize it as an order. Frak Uber.

If i could give zero stars i would. Absolutely terrible. My food has taken almost 2 hours because the delivery person is on a bike. Use postmates instead people. Oh and you would think they would comp my order but instead gave me $5 off only if i spend $15....

If I could give zero stars, I would! You can type in an address and the no brain havin drivers will still mess it up. You can put detailed instructions but the drivers must also be blind cause they won’t even look at it and the text option yeah that’s useless as well. If you wanna save your self from having your day ruined and then going hungry while you wait for another app to download, just use DoorDash. And a note for Uber seriously fix your “shiitake. Never will I use your services again or/ will I recommend your sorry excuse of an app. Good day! I said GOOD DAY! 👿

I’ve been using ubber eats exclusively for about a year now and during this time I always thought it was the best food ordering app. However, Ubber Eats has been on a steady decline in both quality and timeliness. My food used to come as if I was picking up the order myself. Now when I receive my food it’s as if the person took my order and just dumped it in the bag upside down. I’ve also had numerous instances where I’ve ordered food and I have to wait for my driver to complete another order along the way. I think the fact that they can do this is ridiculous. Why should I have to wait for my driver to drive a complete stranger to get their meal and then come to me? It used to be I could order food and it would come in a short to decent amount of time. Now I have to wait usually an hour at least before my order gets close because my driver was busy driving around to other places. I’ve started using other apps to see what the best is and after using every possible option (Postmates, ubber eats, door dash, grub hub) I can safely say that door dash delivers your food the fastest, most correctly and with the best customer service. DONT USE UBBER EATS

Uber eats used wrong address and then canceled my order and still charged me full price for everything! I talked to a manager named Chris and he was rude and disrespectful and not helpful in anyway! I give this app 0 or negative stars! I’m an extremely disappointed and unhappy customer! I will not use uber eats ever again! They loss business now! I will also tell everyone and anyone to never use uber eats until they refund me my money for food I never received and get better customer service people!

Watch your card people. I ordered a pizza. 32$ after that I received an 18$ charge for Uber help. Then two 8$ charges after that. Now I’ve paid 70$ for a pizza. With no customer service I have no idea how to stop the random charges other than dispute it with my credit company

This used to be great, now it’s garbage. If you would like to wait 2.5 hours for your food that estimates a 35 minute delivery time, then this is your app.

Whenever I would use this app my order would never come in, would always be canceled for no apparent reason, and it would take my money even if it never appeared. I suggest using any other service besides this one.
Horrible customer service. I placed an order and the estimated delivery time was about 45 mins which was fine but then it started changing multiple times and has now currently had us waiting for over an hour. I wouldn’t recommend this app if your in a hurry or want your order in a reasonable amount of time. And the worst part is that you can’t contact any type of customer service; when you click the “HELP” icon it just gives you a generic message and that’s it. Will definitely be using GrubHub.

2 for 2 on getting 80% of my order.
Round 1: had the flu at home. Ordered Buffalos Wild Wings (I used to work there), in the notes I put “SAUCE ON SIDE” word for word what there button says on the screen. ***sauce came in the wings. The restaurant held the Uber driver accountable, I called them out for it being part of there take out policy to go through the order, & open the boxes; I know, I did that for 2 years.
Nobody brought me the right wings. I was a very upset, sick, hungry person that day.
Round 2: Ordered dinner for my mama & I. Don’t have any utensils, plates, anything in this cheap resort. I asked specifically in the comments box “forks, knives, napkins, bbq &/or A1 sauce, & butter please” & THEY FORGOT IT ALL. couldn’t just call the driver or Uber customer service. It’s 2 hours later & I still haven’t gotten utensils.
Currently looking at my complete, cold meal.

I have had quite a few issues with Uber Eats with either to order arriving up to almost an hour later that promised l, to my latest issue where half the order (and the main reason for my order) was missing. I’ve been trying to deal with Customer Service through the “Help” function and their answers appear as they are not even reading my message or looking into the issue. My charges and credits are over $5 out of sync and they haven’t answered my last 3 messages. They first were just going to credit the amount paid just for the item but that made no sense as the fees, charges and tip (I can adjust tip so that was ok) are based based on the full order. As if to appease me, they adjusted the fees on the receipt in the app, however, they had already charged the card the full amount and then credited the portion for the item only. They did not adjust the additional amount so that it was reflected on my card even though the credit is on the receipt in the app. I sent screen shots and accounting details. I don’t understand why this has become such an issue to fix.

I placed an order with Arby’s thru this app.. it was a long delivery time (1hour 15min). But I figured that was ok, because they made me aware of it. The latest time I was given was 7:45... at 7:44 they completely canceled my order!! I’m sitting here hungry ,waiting with my family for dinner.. and they cancel it ONE MINUTE before the max time of it supposed to be being here!! I’m seriously in shock! I will never use this app again! And I suggest whoever is reading this.. that they don’t use it either!

Ordering from grubhub all the time. Grubhub allows me to sort by distance of restaurants and would show how many miles away from my house and many other options. Your app needs to be modified.

The app is great for ordering food. The process is easy and efficient.
The sucky part. When I no longer wanted to have the Uber eats account I had to permanently delete my whole UBER account. They make you jump through a few hoops and honestly shows that they want to keep customers, but in a forceful way.
Now my account for Uber is cancelled and my Lyft is still active which will affect Uber negatively. They should really simplify the process so that I can easily cancel Uber Eats and keep my transportation account. Poor design and somewhat sketchy design on their part. 2/5, may use again if they fix this. Tisk tisk Uber.

Only one star to review this but really I wouldn’t even give one star. Customer service stinks. Two hours, no food and then they cancelled my order but still charged me. Use DoorDash or Instacart; Uber Eats stinks.
Wouldn’t let me change my address so had to delete it. Please fix that
