I love eating and I was in the mood for a coke, but I couldn’t just get a simple coke because I had to pay extra as a delivery fee, now I don’t mind 4.00$ or lower but I had to pay way more even when it said 2.99 fee, I was upset and behalf of that I had to pay tip I think I’m paying enough already for them just by getting a coke.

Maybe you guys should have a screening process to make sure your uber drivers speak at least a few words in English, i have nothing against any race/ethnicity but how is someone supposed to deliver food.. when they don’t even understand 1 word of English? My food has been delayed for an hour

We ordered from White Castles which is 20 mins away from us at most. We payed 56 for food. The guy who picked up our food, Scott, called and asked for the address so I gave it to him. 10 minutes later, I’m called and they said that our location was too far. Now, we have no food and we’re out 56.97. By far, the worst experience 🙄‼️ never doing this again

Half the time it says your payment can’t be accepted. Or it wants verification if your card ,needs a picture of it, then it still doesn’t work or won’t see the numbers on the card. But I can go to their competitors and use it with no problem. I tried calling customer service, recording said to talk on the app because they couldn’t offer customer support right now. Couldn’t contact support either on the app. This app has gone down hill in the last couple months. Better to use even Postmates over Uber Eats.

Uber has continually for the past two how’s and everyday uses the same food place for free delivery there should be new options every 5mins which you all have changed that as well to 13:00 its ridiculous. There should be more options.
This app was good at a point but now but there’s always something missing and I call the restaurant they say everything was complete so then I wonder if the driver kept something.

You are way better off ordering through DoorDash. Every time I use Uber Eats they mess up my order or it never shows up. Recently, I ordered and the driver delivered to the wrong address and when I contacted “support” they wouldn’t contact the driver or offer to have another order made and delivered. They said “Unfortunately all we can do is provide a full refund” I would certainly hope so because I waited over an hour for food that never arrived. This was the last time I will deal with this company.

I’m trying to get a receipt sent to my email.
It tells you how to do it in the app, however the past 3 weeks the app will not allow you to print one out for business purposes, nor is it sending it to my email as I’m requesting. I can’t contact UberEats to tell them this.

Horrible. Keeps on asking me to verify my cards at the most inconvenient of times. Accepts orders to cancel them 20 minutes later. Has had me waiting for food for the driver to have never showed up but they say he did. I literally only use this app if it’s late night and my food options are beyond scarce. Save your money and just learn to cook

I wish there was a way to know if there was actually a delivery driver near me. Instead of ordering food and then having to cancel because there is no driver available to pick it up. I’ve had a decent experience before but now I can’t seem to get anybody.

Today I ordered from an italian restaurant and the order was confirmed with the restaurant BY UBER. But it was delayed over 40 minutes and was taking longer and longer and the app said it was because they could not find a delivery person. So instead of waiting for an hour for my meal i was forced to cancel the order after waiting for about 30 minutes or so. Then they charge me saying it was my fault to cancel after confirming. If the app cannot find a delivery person why shall i be charged?? When I brought it to their attention and asked for my refund, the agent denied not only once but twice.

I mean..what a time to be alive right? Food, delivered to you door, with the touch a button or two. Pretty cool... My only problem is that the app tries to tell me that it’s coming sooner than the food actually is. Uber Eats will day the food is coming in 15 min, although no driver has accepted it. Now how is that possible? I live very close to restaurants, and that is not the problem. The problem is that they try to make it seem like it’s coming soon(30-40 min), when it’s not. I wish it was a realistic ETA, instead of a made up one that tries to make it seem like you’re getting you’re food in the time it said. When in reality—it just gives you an ETA and then it just reneges. I wish it would just give me an honest time instead of me getting my hopes up that it’s coming in 20 min like it’s says, instead of the 1hr30min it is actually gonna take. Please, just let me know the actual time instead of getting my hopes up that it’s coming soon....
Decent Until You Need Customer Service 1/5
Absolutely horrendous when it comes to their customer service or anything regarding correcting an order issue. Due to an order issue, I was told directly through the Customer Service messenger, by the /CUSTOMER SERVICE Representative/ that I would receive a refund, the order was rather large so the amount was as well. I took many screen caps of the entire conversation, as I have worked in customer service for a very long time. Each time I reached back out to follow up with why I had not received the refund THEY said I would receive, they spoke to me as if I was demanding something random without cause. I would share the screenshots of the whole conversation, and they would continue to repeat themselves. I have still not received rectification on this. I have used this app for 4 years and am absolutely disappointed and baffled at how poorly they handled this situation. I have rarely reported issues with my orders. This is so very sad and shows an immense amount of how much they do not cater to their own values.

Today I ordered food from here since my past experiences went well but today my delivery driver was super late and that’s alright I wasn’t gonna rush her but when my food got here surprise the bag only had a coke in it the rest missing and when I went to click on rate order and try to report it that button/option was missing sooo then I go and try to fill a complaint online and I get a try again later.... I was so frustrated becuz I was not about to pay for something I never got in the end I managed to report it and Uber did a refund which shows that they care but I’m sorry I won’t be ordering again from here due that I’m not going to risk it again😒
Slow delivery, cold food 2/5
Yeah, I’m gonna have to give UE a two because it takes forever for the driver to get to you and idk if they get lost all the time or what, but they drive all over town with my food and I don’t feel comfortable with that AND my food is almost cold by the time they get to me. And if I do try to reach out to the driver while in route, they NEVER speak English which is very annoying and frustrating.

I used to be able to share delivery but with in the last few weeks the option is gone.
Delivery rates also went up substantially. I get it if it’s covid stuff but I don’t see how removing shared delivery helps at all.
And no, it’s not because nobody in my area is using it. I’m in a densely populated area and always had options being refreshed constantly. Just going to stop using it much now. Oh well.
I got a gift card from my boss to Uber Eats as a thank you. I used it for the first time to order pizza. After 45 minutes without a driver assigned and my pizzas gone cold I borrowed a car and got the food myself. The I get a 25.00 cancellation charge from Uber Eats? They charged me for their failure?? Wow. Never again.

Wrong order on first use. 2/5
Today was the first time I ever used this app. I received the wrong order. The food was actually something I’m allergic to. No one answered the phone at the restaurant when I called to fix the issue. I had to drive to the restaurant to fix the issue, negating the benefit of it being delivered. Not a good first impression.
While I was there, the person that got my order was there to fix their order.

Every other order I’ve placed with Uber eats either doesn’t reach the restaurant or the wrong items are delivered. You can’t have consumers wondering if they are going to actually get their orders or not... I’m done anxiously waiting to see if I will get to eat at a reasonable time anymore.

Delivery used to be great and the options excellent as well. Now, every time we order, we are met with delays and really poor estimates to when the order will be delivered. Everything does arrive, but the promises made around delivery times are a farce.

We decided to use Uber eats instead of deliveroo because of a deal from uber eats. So we placed our first order and the first driver to get our food canceled and then another person was sent to get it. Our food order was then “delivered” but it never even came to our home as we were tracking on the app. We called the person through the app and told them our address and she assured us she was coming yet 20 minutes later nothing. And the app would no longer allow us to contact her. Very disappointed with the service, and the delivery person never tried to contact us. This is the first and last time we will be using uber eats.

This morning I tried making a purchase at McDonald’s (Sherman way/woodman) and was given a “internal server error” message saying my transaction didn’t go through and I had the option to empty my cart, which I did.. I then proceeded to attempt to place my order at another McDonald’s (Van Nuys/Blythe) which I had no issues in doing so. But once I finished placing that 2nd order, to my surprise I was notified that a order was on its way to my home.. turns out the first order at the Sherman way location went through after all.. I then tried canceling the 2nd order but when I was finally connected to a Uber eats associate and once they finished the “process” the associate said they have to go through to proceed with the cancellation I was no longer able to keep my money.. I truly do not believe this is fair.. nobody is to blame here but the app for having me believe that I never placed an order other than the one I knowingly placed at the van Nuys/ Blythe location. Everyone I’ve spoken too has told the same thing, we can’t give you a refund after a restaurant has prepared the food.. I understand that and I agree that the restaurant shouldn’t lose money for something they are not to be blamed for.. but who is to take responsibility when the Uber eats app malfunctions and down right robs somebody of their money? Why should I lose money because of a “internal server error”? Something has to be done.. this isn’t fair.

Uber Eats not only charges a ~$2 delivery fee and $5 service fee, but also marks up most menu items by $2-3. This markup fee is a hidden fee. The total cost of an order (not counting tip) is often $20-30 more than the in-restaurant cost.

Needs Accurate Pin Placement 1/5
I had multiple times where the driver had to contact me to find my exact location of my apartment building, and sometimes I would have to get down and meet them. There should be an update where I am able to pin my exact location like how I can place a ride on uber so they are able to find my building correctly.
Possibly the worst service app in existence.
