Someone using this application ran a very obvious scam, and Venmo did absolutely nothing to protect me, in fact they helped protect the scammer in a way that would seem like they are in on it and getting a piece of my money that was stolen.
This app isn’t safe, I wouldn’t connect any financial institutions to it if I were you.

I was locked out of my account for three months.
I would speak to a rep who would apologize for the delay and expedite my case. Three months maybe four that expedited. Hooked up w Zelle and cash app.

Of anyone to reopen my Venmo account. I got a letter saying it was cleared out still can’t use Venmo. Any time I can actually get hold of a live person they say they aren’t in the correct department to help me

I love the personal touch. ❤️ I would like the option to delete the post especially since it was shared before I could ask for it to be private , but...other than this I see nothing negative about this. I love that the card has the front in portrait mode and the numbers aren’t raised like it’s 1995 and were gonna breakout the slide across machine complete with carbon paper. 😂 It’s simple ,on purpose , so children can use it too. 🤫 But over all your behind PayPal on the race but ur up there as a good app. Love my Venmo credit card too. Hope u stay in the race.

Used to work. Now it won’t accept my credit card so I linked my bank account. Everything checked out till I tried to send money then it said it couldn't complete the transaction. More trouble than its worth. Too bad because it used to be nice when it actually worked.

Venmo never remembers my bank account! It’s annoying. I need to pay rent every single month and every single month I have to re-upload my bank information. I hate giving out my bank information. Other people don’t have to do this. And that makes me mad.

I keep trying to cancel my account and keep getting routed back to my email and all it did was send me back to submit request which says contact us…there’s no way to connect or call anymore. Very frustrating

My account was frozen in May and I have responded to everything they asked … verified my identity … responded to emails … and no one will assist me! I use Venmo between friends and not for any other purpose so this makes no sense and I can not get anywhere with service … everyone I speak to says it’s a different departments issue! I can’t even start a new account … this is the worst customer service ever!

I accuse sent too much money to my bank account for a 1-3 day transfer. I called within 30 seconds and they said there was nothing they could do. Less than a minute! From myself to myself! Ok.

I have been utilizing venmo for quite a few years, and I use it for important expenses, such as rent, utilities, and even have used their credit card for year's too.
The app functions smoothly, and I appreciate the privacy feature change for transactions between friends, family, or businesses.
I submitted a dispute that anyone who was in the predicament I was in would have sided with me. My dispute was disqualified. No reason was given. If what happened to me would of happened to one of the investigators in my case, they would be upset as I was. I don’t believe anyone investigated my dispute because nobody has gotten back to me to explain why. That’s terrible customer service!
They will let you put money into the account but will only let u remove it instantly at their discretion. The supervisor Luis told me that it’s common and there’s nothing to do about it. He stated he understands why I wouldn’t want to use Venmo..

Bear in mind that if you open a verify a business account with them, it will be permanently linked to your personal account. No transfers, no editing, no additional business profile, doesn’t matter if a meteor crashes to earth.
You get ONE business profile and it’s forever the same. How much worse could Venmo get for businesses? Stay away!

I have a Venmo balance of 2100$ and Venmo is declining any payments or bank transfers. The account is NOT on hold but instead, I’m told they have an “automated” security system that will block transactions if they feel the transaction could be as problem! Really? It’s my money and I should be able to decide how to spend it with NO problem!! This is why I prefer CashApp. Never again will I hold money in Venmo for future use. They won’t let me spend it!!!
