Glad I got to use this app before the 1:30 limit. Might move to another app. Thanks.
Not bad 3/5
It’s not bad for doing something simple but since they changed what is on their pro and what’s not .. I’ve had to switch to another. It still is good for a simple edit!
Why change the lengths 1/5
By Landen Tidwell
I’ve been using this for a while and now I’m only allowed to shoot video 1.5 mins long or I have to pay for the pro this is so stupid change it back please
At first I loved the app I did not pay for it and I loved how I had so many options. I also used it to edit my YouTube videos (my YouTube videos are over 2 minutes long). Then I came back to edit a video and it said I had to pay cause my video was over 2 minutes if they fix that I will re-download the app.
Not happy. 1/5
I got this for as my first editing app and I loved it! I soon found Capcut and started using it although I kept Videoleap in case I needed it. I came to use it real quick today just to speed up a video that was 22 minuets long and it was saying it had to be 1.5 minuets long to export! It won’t let me speed it up anymore so now I have to wait for Capcut to load! Thanks a lot Videoleap. Thanks a lot. 😒
Great but some bad stuff 2/5
I’ve been using this editing app for YouTube but something has changed. You can’t add any layers that is over 1.5 minutes and that you can only have 1 layer. Having 2 overlapping layers will having you going to Videoleap Pro which I’m broke and don’t want to buy. Please add back 2 overlapping layers please!
Great app one thing 4/5
Hey I am not saying this is a bad app to get but it is always saying things about to do something you have to pay to do it soooooooooooooo yeah
Ok so I know that they need to stay in business I get it. But the free version is slowly becoming worse and worse making more features only available if you buy the Videoleap Pro subscription. Don’t get me wrong it’s a great app that’s simple to use. But come on? You can’t have more than 2 items overlapping now. And I would be a bit more forgiving if the Pro subscription wasn’t 8 dollars a month! This app used to be so much better without limits on video length. As good as an app as it is, they’re limiting the basic features of the app, which has led me to search for other apps to use. I hate to be this harsh because it really is a great app for people starting out. But at this rate I don’t think I’ll be using it much longer.
You can’t do anything anymore 1/5
I was editing together an animation I have been working on for a while, but now I have to delete it all and start from scratch on a new video editing app because someone decided to make the app worse to the point where it’s impossible to use. 🙃
I would’ve gave this a five but 3/5
I really adore this app I really really do but I just have to say that I am not happy with this update at all first you take away the motion tracking then you take away the one thing that a video editors need to have. You take away the main thing how are you limit the video time to only a minute and 30 seconds like I’m so sorry I understand you guys need to make money but maybe if you made your prices a little bit reasonable or maybe you can extend the time a bit but one minute and 30 seconds for me it’s kind of unacceptable how low do you have to go just to make some money. It
One question 3/5
This app is good for editing videos and all but why did y’all gotta make us pay for videos over 1:30 minutes? It was free originally why did y’all gotta do that. Don’t think of this as a hate comment, I love Videoleap it’s a very good editing app, it’s just the fact that y’all made it a premium feature angers me a little.
You have to pay for everything 1/5
This app used to be great when it first launched the only thing the subscription did was allow you to use infinite layers but now you have to pay to have videos longer than certain lengths and effects are pay to use. This app used to be great but it is basically useless to people unwilling to pay for a premium subscription. I do not recommend this app.
I DO NOT RECOMMEND!!! 1/5
By Wyatt Anderson12345
It was my favorite editor app and I did so much with it, I made all of my videos with it... that is until their most recent update where they made it to where you can’t even edit a 2 minute video without paying 70 dollars or a monthly/yearly payment! You can only edit a 1 minute video for free! I don’t recommend I am mad!!!
totally disappointed… 1/5
It pains me a lot to write this review, this was the best editing app I have ever had since around August 2019, unfortunately now the app has added a lot more restrictions, sorry guys, but 1:35 time limit is really over the top , I will try some other editing app, but it will never be the same ... goodbye.
horrible update 1/5
a time limit? are you guys serious? and it’s only 1 and a half minutes. literally who has a video that they edit that’s under 1 and a half minutes? this app isn’t being used by professionals, it’s being used by kids who have no money. your update is stupid.
Why please change it back 2/5
By i hate clash royle
This was a really good app until you made it where you have to pay for a video to be longer than 1:30 minutes why I would have rated 5 stars
dumb paywall !! 1/5
it used to be free to edit and now there’s a paywall for videos longer than 1:30 ??? really stupid , it used to be so good too ://// very disappointed

The app used to be good but then the update made it so you can only make a video that’s 1:28 seconds.
It went downhill. 1/5
I used to love this app, I made audios and sometimes used it for voiceovers. I’ve been using this app for a couple of years. I haven’t updated the app in a long time, and while I was editing, the audio kept glitching out. So I decided that maybe it was because I was using an older version, and decided to update. That was a big mistake, because now I can’t use more than 1 overlapping layers and I can’t make the video more than 1 minute and 30 seconds. 🤦🏾♀️ This was my favorite app to use on my phone to edit audios and use voiceovers and such, but now I’m gonna have to find a new app and redo the video again because y’all decided to charge just to make a video more than 1m and 30s and to add more than 1 overlapping layer. Y’all should’ve just left the app like it was.
Can’t make videos longer than 1.5 minutes 1/5
I’ve been using Videoleap for over a year now and they are starting to require the Pro version if your video is over 1.5 minutes long. I think this is ridiculous and it shout be changed back to how it was.
used to be good 2/5
I used to use this app for every edit I made but the devs have made the app vary mad for montage makers and just video editors in general. I really do not like how the made so many restrictions and limits to what you can edit now…
Thank you for fixing the update we’re u can only make a 1 minute video 5/5
They Betrayed Us ALL!! 😤 1/5
Y’all done ruined the app by taking away some features, you betrayed ur fans & supporters,y’all some money hungry hogs,y’all don’t even care about us
Amazing, but can’t export 3/5
The app keeps crashing whenever I try to export.
Delete this perfect app because of stupid update! 1.5 limit ???
Needs a change BADLY 3/5
By beep boop beep beep
This app was doing really well until recently when it added a time limit of 1:30. There wasn’t a purpose for it and the app was fine how it was before the update and it needs to be downgraded again
Waste of money 1/5
By liva soaia
I paid for this app to work fine and function good but however every time i import a song into the mixer the screen just turns to black and i cant see what im editing this is why i switched back to capcut instead of this waste of money smh 🤦🏿♂️
I love this app a lot! I’ve used it for most of the videos I’ve edited. But I’ve been using it less recently because I can’t make videos longer and 1:50. I don’t wanna sound like a Karen or anything but it does upset me because I’s rather make a video as long as I want and be able to save it instead of screen record it. I would really appreciate it of that could be changed :).
Other than that I really don’t have a problem with it. I absolutely love this app and I have recommended to a few of my friends. I think this app works really well. The only issue(s) I have with this app is the time usage and that you can’t overlap too much text without having to pay for it.
I don’t usually mind paying for apps but I currently don’t have money ;-;
So I obviously can’t :,)
But yeah, those are the only problems I have. :))
Wayyy more (and too many) new restrictions 3/5
By Vivian Mun.
This was my main way to make my videos back then. I’m an artist, and would usually make animatics or animations using this app.
But now I can’t use the little diamond icon to move frames around, I can’t make a video over a certain amount of time, I can’t do all the things I used to be able to do. It’s really saddening, especially since this was the easiest to use editor for me.
This just became one of those “pay to use” apps at this point.
You need pro to make videos over a minute 1/5
I have been using this app for months, to make my channel videos and all of a sudden, you need videoleap pro, which costs $70, to make videos over a minute and a half. What’s the point then? Please expand by a lot, or recommend to me a new editing app that lets me make videos around my regular 5-10 minutes
You have killed the best app, congratulations. 1/5
It was already difficult to edit videos with this app, but it was by far the best video editing app on the App Store. I’ve made several youtube videos for other people using this app, and the app has always achieved.
It had issues though.
The app had a tremendous lag, and the play button had a severe delay, making edits excruciatingly difficult to time correctly. These two issues were never fixed.
I also couldn’t use more than two layers at a time without paying, so I had to be strategic and careful when making vids.
I understand that, though. As a developer, you’ve gotta make profit, but with a recent update, Videoleap went from making profit, to forcing creators to give them money.
It is now impossible to create a video longer than a minute without the app forcing you into a subscription, making my business now impossible to do. Now I have to hope that there is another app that can do.
This app is powerful, but it seems like the creator’s greed is more powerful.
Used to be pretty good :/ 2/5
By everyone who has rated this
I can’t even use more than one mixer layer and it limits you to 1:30 a video unless you want to pay for pro, why? you’re literally limiting so much more to people who just want to use it for free, it didn’t used to be like this and I’m probably going to have to look for another editing app because of these issues, great job videoleap!
Great app… until 1/5
It was a great app certainly the best free one I’d ever used, then about a week ago they changed it so you had to play to make videos longer than a minute and a half (previously an unlimited amount)
By youtube dylanwtf
The app used to be good and simple and really easy to use but now they’ve made everything pro to cost money. U can’t even make a video more than a minute and a half long and to go pro it’s like 13$ a month and 80$ for a one time buy. You may as well look up expensive editing apps.
By Video Leap User 12459
I love this app I used it for so many things and it’s very helpful and easy the premium option is not excessive nor too much but I think that what they did recently is a little too much. It’s that to edit a video around 1:50 or longer you need premium and I think that’s too much cmon just 1:50 at least make it like 5 minutes and over with stuff like this it reminds me of a app that you can only use one option but all the other ones with the “vip”. Please take this away or reduce it.
Can only makes clips for 1:29 3/5
By Clip limit is too short
Can you guys go back to where it didn’t matter how much time you use, it was better when we had unlimited amount of time, now because u put that, I’m gonna have to use another app, that allows me to use more than 1hr.
bad update 1/5
By bruh mormnt
my guy why do i need to pay just to make a video over 1 minute? this is a rip off remove this update no one likes it.
They changed the update thank you 4/5
They changed the video length and took off the watermark plus the only one layer. Thank you for listening to everyone and I hope this doesn’t happen again.
One minute limit 😐 1/5
You have to be kidding me. I used this because I didn’t have a computer to edit videos and this was the only app that let me edit videos decently. Burn.
Good app but this update made me upset. Won’t be using again. 3/5
I’ve been using this app to make playlists on youtube and haven’t had a problem with it until recently. I was on Youtube and suddenly I had remembered a playlist that I didn’t finished and wanted to get it done and over with. I went on the app and clicked on my project when suddenly I saw a pop-up telling me I have to pay for PRO. I ignored it and went to edit the video. When I clicked export another pop-up showed up. I sighed and read it and I was devastated to realize that I have to pay for PRO to export a video longer then A MINUTE and THIRTY SECONDS. Listen I get it when you have to pay for pro when its like effects or music stuff like that but now your telling me I have to pay for the amount of time on the video??? That’s just ridiculous. Sorry but i’ll just find a different app. 😐
Update trash 1/5
By Mike Lully
I don’t like how it only allows me to have 1 and half minutes videos I’m deleting
what happened? 1/5
i used to use videoleap all the time, until now i figure out there’s a paywall for videos longer than a minute? That’s not fair at all.
When I used it back then the time limit was infinite. Now you can only do 1:30 videos for free and if you wanted more than 1:30, you have to have a subscription. What a joke.
I can’t even edit wit this app is said my clips cant be longer than 1 minute😑
*USE to be -Free! 3/5
By Clovis Ramsay
Just a week or two ago, there wasn’t a limit on time but now there is a 00:01:30 cap. If this app had a desktop counterpart, i’d feel justified in the subscription price. Too bad there isn’t an offered option to purchase a one time perpetual license for that particular build release, like audio production apps offer. I look for utility and functionality over features. I don’t want to subscribe to sparkley visual features.
The app has gotten worse 2/5
Before, Videoleap was hands down the best video editor for mobile I had ever used. However, recently, with the added paywall for videos longer than 90 seconds, it has been rendered useless to me. I can no longer use this FREE app without paying for the pro version and that is just blasphemous after this not being an issue for so long. Disappointed.
Now I can’t even use text over my video without paying!? This is trash now!
money 😐 1/5
By penelope <33
deleting this now, i used to love this app but y’all had to ruin it by making literally everything paid. time limit? layers? really? that wasn’t necessary 🤦
Really sick 5/5
Been playing around with it for about 20 minutes now. They give you a lot of cool effects for free. Very easy to learn and very smooth interface. One of the better video editing apps.
