    Easy doin'! Remote control is everything, being able to set the system after you've already left is invaluable. Especially the notifications that give the ability to keep tabs on who's coming and going, with a reminder to help stay on it if you DO forget! User friendly and too easy! Well done! Notifications have a surplus of options, but a central contacts list for users would be helpful!

    I can use my login credentials on their website but this app seems to think that my credentials are incorrect when using this app. This happened after I upgraded my phone to the iPhone 11. Useless app now. If a future update fixes this issue I may update my review. Seems they haven’t updated this app in over 3 years, no wonder it doesn’t work.

    Called spent 30 minutes on hold to find out the app isn’t working ...couldn’t tell me when it will be fixed. It’s be broken for over 3 days. Terrible customer service.

    No stars. I have been a customer with Vivint for 6 years. It’s time to take my business somewhere else. The mobile app went down 3 days ago. I called 3 days ago and was told it would be back up in 24 hours. Nope. It’s not up. Shopping today for new security system. Oh and by the way! Thanks for Leeman your customers know there was a problem, said with sarcasm. Never received an email or nothing from you about the issue. This is no way to conduct business.

    For us legacy customers with older systems, we have to use this app and it hasn’t been updated in three years. You can’t adjust the thermostat and the app is just very dated. For the price we pay, I expect better.

    I wish there was a -1 star! For the last month ive been unable to log in to check the alarm and to see if doors are locked. Our home is for sale and I've found that the last realtor that showed out home did not lock the front door and i was able yo lick it remotely. Until last month one day it would not accept my log in, I use Apple devices which conveniently store your user id as well as your password, but the app would not accept it I tried changing my password and then logging in only to have the app completely lock me out. Come to find out, they still showed an email that I had not had for over 5+ years! I called in snd had the email changed to the new one. I tried logging in again and it said I was locked out, the agent changed the email again several times and it still showed the account locked. She then got her supervisor to help and she could not unlock it either, after more than an hour on the phone I was told that they would turn my case over to the more advanced technical support area and someone would call me back the next day, a week went by, and we were still traveling so I called in again to check on the status, I was transferred to advanced technical support and I spent another hour on the phone while the young man tried to help me to no avail. He told me he would have to have s supervisor look at the case and I would receive a call the next day. That was a week and a half ago and I’m still waiting for the call. When I return from my trip I’m canceling this crappy excuse of a security company!

    I had to pay for four extras sensor which is 200.00 because when I first changed over from another Alarm security company Vivint use the other company sensors now the sensors are not working. So, I really do think is it not fair. Then I got two video cameras a few months ago now I am under a contract for two yrs so I can't upgrade until two yrs are close to two years, I hate companies like that put you under contract for a year. I was going to stay with Vivint but after two or close to 2 years I may just leave this Alarm company, because I am not happy at all.

    I get they want you to get the upgraded system with the upgraded app which has tons of great reviews but I think it’s crappy that you have a completely different app for your “more valuable” customers. We have been with you guys for a very long time and this app just doesn’t work well and I think we should be valued too. That being said, here are the issues with the app: The app does not stay updated. I like to see what the temp is in the house at random times and the app will say what the house was yesterday at some random time and when I try to pull down to refresh the info, the app takes several minutes of me doing this over and over to finally work. Sometimes when I change the temp on my phone after finally getting the info to update, it keeps changing what I said I wanted the new temp to be. Also, I loved the feature of knowing if I accidentally left my garage door open without driving back to my house but the app is so unreliable that I just can’t trust that it is right.

    My doorbell camera not sending out notifications if someone on your front door Or alert you to my iPhone since they replace new panel has newer software virson I call they said apps issue it will take 3 + week to fix Also they don’t even know till I call and technician who came to install this new panel they don’t even notify their tech There is issue or software issue software that have in panel I am disipointed They need to fix ASAP

    Convenient for making adjustments on phone but have dead batteries and still on 2G. Called for upgrade was told it would cost $400 plus to upgrade. I have had the same system for many years and they want me to pay more now than what I paid to get the service. How is that, you would think they would be trying to keep me as a customer but they didn’t care. Thinking about calling them to come get it and go with another company.

    This used to be a great app, but they need to update it for watch ios 5. It used to have regular updates, but says 3 years since last one. That seems a bit ridiculous. Almost like the want you to spend a bunch of money and update to their latest panel.

    The vivint app has worked great for us. I like saving money by adjusting temperature at home remotely. I feel safe with vivint notifications when doors are open and I’m not home. I like having access to the camera from my phone. But the most important benefit to me is being able to activate my home security system from anywhere I have internet access,( it those slow down the remote commands on cloudy/bad weather days. This vivint app is good.

    When we first got the system it was awesome and now 8 years later they won’t come and fix anything without changing me. I have 5 things wrong with the system and yet they still want me to pay a monthly fee if the don’t fix it this time for free then they can come take it now.

    App won’t log me in with my correct login credentials that I use to successfully log into my desktop account everyday. Called tech support and sat there for 30+ minutes while they kept “throwing spaghetti against the wall” to see what would work. Nothing worked.

    When arming our home alarm from our app our kitchen door was ajar and it never warned us. Our dog worked on it and got it all the way open and was seriously injured and we never knew until we got home hours later. When I spoke to customer service to reenact and test our system I was advised that the app I’m using and the system I’m using is OUTDATED and the “older version”. WHAT!!!???? What a false sense of security!!!! This is UNACCEPTABLE!! Shopping for a new company now!

    A huge contract loss waste of $ and time. Was promised it would not be a locked in contract. Terrible customer service. The usual once we have you we won’t help you mentality. I feel stupid for not checking into them more don’t waste your time and $ like me go somewhere else please.

    This app is horrible. It hardly ever works, what’s the point in having an app that won’t turn on your heater or unlock your door from your phone as advertised? Very disappointed in Vivint, they’re failing their customers.

    The concept is great just poorly executed. Had system for 6 yrs and my panel is not compatible with new devices and they want me to buy new panel to keep up with services I’m paying for. The app is steadily becoming more and more useless, have to try up to 5-6 time to change temps on thermostats. And sometimes never does it. Haven’t had a update on app this entire time. I find that hard to believe, someone is asleep in app development.

    For the most part, it's a great app ALTHOUGH sometimes it seems to lag (up to 10 minutes) when we're setting our alarm in the car. Fix that problem and it becomes a 5 star review. Customer Service is very responsive! Thank you. PS. Please update App to use with Face ID

    I had this app and it worked ok in the past. The other day I had to sign in again and I can’t. It says the username and password does not match but I know I put in the correct info. I changed my password online and nothing still. I ask for login help and is states error. Not sure what happened but this app has become useless to me.
