I love This app!
It made me feel stronger and healthier
Great App 5/5
The variety of exercises and the explanation of each movement is excellent! Definitely worth the money!!
A fantastic program 4/5
I am active duty military and in my particular job physical fitness is paramount. It is difficult, however, to stick to something for very long due to extended field ops, deployments, and just general operation tempo. Volt is a perfect fit for me, and I have since gotten my wife into it as well (also military).
-It wasn’t for a couple months after I had purchased that I noticed the “extras” in the bottom of workout overviews (near the Gatorade hub). Things like speed and agility, additional strength training, and cool-downs live there and I now utilize them often. Maybe find a way to implement these features more front-and-center, because they are appreciated!
-Understanding that the workouts are built in such a way that there are only three training sessions a week, but perhaps give specific active recovery days workouts as well, suggesting them based on the workout.
Hi, I was wondering if this app works offline?
Everything you need 5/5
This app has come along so far and hits every component you need in a workout. If you feel lost and need structure this is for you!
Well rounded 4/5
By Varsity Tennis
This app as a teenager on a varsity sport is selected to fit my sport perfectly. It lets me create the variety and change out workouts. And it analyzes the feedback you give it. Honestly it’s worth 20$ but if you want to be a winner go the extra 5$.
be careful 1/5

ok so i was excited for this app because i do horse riding (it’s a sport, it’s in the olympics). so be prepared to not find the sport that u do.
Laura Brija 5/5
Awesome programming app that allows me to train towards specific goals. Love that core workouts can be supplemented with various add-ons / finishers for a custom experience. Would highly recommend as a core or supplemental workout plan!
Female Hockey Players This Is OUR App 5/5
I’ve screwed around with plenty of other apps for weight lifting, but nothing comes close to getting me ready to take the ice. And then along came Volt.
Volt has a special program just for FEMALE HOCKEY PLAYERS! It’s not even a choice any more; hit the gym, open Volt and get ready to sweat.
Solid workouts - NO APPLE HEALTH SYNC 2/5
Ok - as a trainer app - solid workout, dynamic learning of your abilities, blah blah blah... it’s nice. The UI is a bit clunky if you want to superset things to keep the pace up - but ok
Why 2 stars - how the heck does an app that’s “#1” in Apples store NOT sync to Apple Health and use the Apple Watch...
Cheap arse development effort - that’s how - write once - compile for Apple and again for Android. Boo.
For an app that’s supposed to also make nutrition recommendations where 100s of apps feed into Apple health there - this is just weak.
Wanted to like it - at its core it’s great - but it’s like an awesome car with no wheels as it sits today.
This app replaces a personal trainer. Trainers beware! 5/5
I have tried many apps, and none comes close to this one when developing a workout plan. I love how your workout plan is focused on your sport of preference, although there is a all-around option, and how your routine changes every three weeks. Although the app only develops three weekly workouts, there are plenty of extra workouts to extend your weekly workouts. The routines are well developed, and the app will adjust weight and/or reps depending on your difficulty feedback. It really feels like having a personal trainer! I have been a gym enthusiast for over 10 years and it feels great not having to worry anymore about creating monthly routines and running out of ideas/exercises. This is the best training app and it is worth every penny!

Great fitness app 5/5
Provides great customizable recommendations on workouts. Continuously encouraging you to get better using actionable feedback.
Best Workout Program on the market. 5/5
By Mark Lugenbeel
Workouts built in real time with a great system. Been using for over a year and half and seeing tremendous results.
Used for my high school athletes as well and they love the technology.
Great App! 5/5
Very functional app and great workouts. App should be available on watch, but isn’t.
When’s the Apple Watch app coming? 5/5
All in all, great app that lets you focus on doing the actual workout instead of wondering about the amount of weight, reps, sets and rest time. The app also boasts a great collection of warmups, primers, and finishers, which is great to pair with your workout.
However, I’d be highly disappointed if there wasn’t any plan to develop the corresponding Apple Watch app. The only thing you’re doing on the phone app during a workout is reviewing the current exercise, and the associated weight/reps, and then hitting Done. The Apple Watch could pair beautifully with these steps! The only time you’d need to use the phone app is to review how to perform a certain exercise or how to complete a circuit. I think a Watch app would increase productivity and make the experience more enjoyable.
4 day workout 5/5
I switched to Tactical as a Marine, but I don’t see the 4x per week option/change.
Doesn’t sync with Apple Watch and Health 4/5
I really liked the app and workouts. I would have rate it 5 star if it would sync with apple watch and Apple health app. Hopefully you guys are working on that.
So so so much to love, BUT... 3/5
By AK Fan
Love the structure!
Love the real time modifications of subsequent sets based on difficulty!
Love easily swapping exercises which helps navigate both personal limitations and the after work gym rush!
My only beef...I WANT TO TRAIN FOR MORE THAN 3 DAYS PER WEEK!!! CAN’T MY PROGRAM LENGTH BE ADAPTABLE TOO?
I literally hate this part and it makes me not want to use the app. If I’m stupid (which is possible) and there is a way, please let me know.
please add gymnastics as a sport because it’s not available and it’s more of a sport than some of those other options
All marketing, sleazy subscription ripoff 1/5
This app has great UI design and looks beautiful. Unfortunately that has nothing to do with the content. The workouts are too fluffy and they very obviously buried their subscription mode to try to rip people off for $70.
This is the only app on my phone that doesn’t show up in Settings>list of apps. Why? Because then you could easily unsubscribe before they stole your money. Instead they buried it in App Store>(click on your profile)>Settings>Personalized Recommendations>Subscriptions. Which after a few seconds of loading screen will take you to a page specifically for unsubscribing before they charge you $70 in 2 weeks. Scammy, dirty, all fluff, no filler. No thanks.
I cannot unsubscribe to Volt and they do not have a phone number or email available. I tried canceling it on my settings and it keeps charging my card. Please help as I can’t afford it.
Great app 5/5
By pedro fary
This app has helped increase my physical strength and my vertical in 2 weeks it has really made a difference for me in basketball
Insanely good app!
Make sure to read the exercise instructions 4/5
This is my first week, and how my first week, and I really like how it changes the work up each day. Be aware that you should read the instructions for each exercise the first time, as the video Sean does not always provide the full demonstration .
Awesome app, a tiny horrible feature 3/5
This app is awesome, I loved it until noticed one small “feature” which made me cancel my subscription. Unfortunately you only get 3 workouts a week and if you finish them early (which is very easy to do), you cannot get another workout until the next week. This was disappointing to find out as I was looking forward to train with this app. Please change, I don’t understand why this “feature” is part of the app. I would happily subscribe again if I can move at my own pace. The cortex AI is awesome btw

Can you please add gymnastics?
Great workout App 4/5
I have been using the app for almost a month and have enjoyed it so far. My only complaint is that I workout in my garage and do not have all the equipment. I’m often switching exercises out for the equipment I do have. It would be perfect if the workouts were built around equipment you have available.
Subscriptions I didn’t ask for 1/5
By Troy Samaro
I installed the app and it auto made me pay 10$ twice now my mom is asking why I was billed I only installed this app for points on a game not to pay for something I won’t use. Disappointed 🤷🏻♀️ Once in January and then on February and I never installed it in February I would like a refund.
Awesome app! 5/5
I just started using Volt and it’s great! I love that sets rely on your mood/sleep, factors that actually affect your workout! 💪🔥 Can’t wait to keep going! 🚀
5 star 5/5
For specific sports that you do, you can chose which one’s you’re interested in and it focuses on key parts of your body. I’m very satisfied with the app
Great workouts!!! 5/5
I struggle a lot with I don’t know what I should do at the gym. The app has pretty good workouts and I love how it evolves with how you progress with weight. So far it’s only day 2, but it’s really cool not having to look up movements.
Great! but... 5/5
I have been using this app for 3 weeks now, and I think it’s amazing. The workouts are great, if I don’t have a certain equipment I can easily switch out the exercise for something else. However I really wish it would link to my Apple Watch, I have to go back and forth and it would be easier if it was all in one spot. Otherwise I think it is really going to help me get ready for my freshman year of College Soccer.
Stop Reading and Just Download it! 5/5
I never leave these iTunes reviews. But I just had to come leave one this time. I saw an ad on Instagram of all places and decided to give this a shot. I. Love. It! It pushes you out of your comfort zone and if you’re not careful will make you stronger and quicker! Only thing I wish is that I could choose to have 4/5 workouts a week instead of 3. Love. Love. Love this app!
The workout app we have all been waiting for 5/5
Best fitness app I’ve used yet.
Workouts are significantly better with a plan. While I used to enjoy developing my own routine and tracking it at the gym, there were a few flaws: 1) I don’t have a background in movement science (one of life’s regrets) 2) tracking on paper, while sweaty is a mess 3) calibrating lift increases and rests is a science, not guess work (I guess this is point one)... volt’s responsive and well designed workouts and app make these problems of the past.
It’s absolutely a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ product, but there is still room to grow... I would love to see a place to add notes as there is sometime need to modify an exercise or I reach 10 reps on one side and 9 on the other. And, I would love to be able to see a simple graph showing my gains for each lift when I click on the breakdown.
Decent app, but kills the battery 2/5
Started with full charge and was down to 5% by the end of the workout.
All these reviews seem fake so idk
Apple Watch 4/5
Workouts are great, but it would be nice to have a Watch app for a rest timer, calorie counter, heart rate, etc.
Right now I’m tracking food in one app, calorie burn/hr in the Apple workout app under HIIT 🤷🏼♂️, and using Volt for instruction. How about a one stop app?!
Bait and switch 1/5
By how is this harvey
It’s not “powered by Gatorade”, it’s powered by $9.99 per month.
Doing more workout per week 4/5
Great app I love it. But I can do more than 3 workouts a week.
This app is alright but I already know what I’m doing. I subscribed just to keep it going for about another week and they make it so that you can’t unsubscribe so easy, so essentially stealing my money.
Terrible Setup 2/5
By AB Response
How many MBAs did you hire to build this app and not let me complete the setup? Talk about a failure to deliver.
Charge ? 1/5
I haven’t tried it out yet but for young athletes we may not be able to play for this app . Very disappointing considering I was looking forward to training harder and making myself better . They should take off the pay policy.
Changed my game 5/5
I’m a WR in high school, this program has taken my performance to another level, absolutely recommend for all athletes!
Question for Developers 5/5
I love the app overall; however, do the workouts scheduled only go up to day three and then I have to wait for the next week?
Amazing workout application 5/5
This app is amazing. Since I’ve been training for college football I’ve been struggling to find the most optimal workout program for myself. I’ve been constantly changing my programs weekly and it was leading me nowhere. Upon discovering this app, I feel that I have finally found the perfect weight training program.
I’ve listed some pros and cons of this app.
*Up to one full year of specialized training program
*From track athletes to football players to tennis this app offers programs for any type of athlete
*offers mobility, stretching, warmup, injury prevention, and routines involved outside of just lifting weights such as speed training, agility/ladder work and plyometrics.
*videos of every exercise to show you how to perform said exercise correctly.
*adapts to your training style by modifying your routine every time you work out.
*low price compared to having an actual trainer which could cost $50+ per session
*the primers, finishers, warmups, ect exercises do not include videos of how to execute them and some may be difficult to interpret.
*no notification sound for when rest time is up. Since some people like myself could get distracted in the gym. I feel the option of having this would be nice.
*thats pretty much it. Great app! Highly recommend to anyone who’s interested in training like an athlete. The right way!
Mostly pretty good 4/5
So, I’m not the most athletic person in the world. That part’s true. I feel as though Volt is going to help me out in the future with it. Seems trustworthy. There’s just one thing I’d like to recommend about the sports selection: Marching Band should be on the list too. I mean, that’s the sport I play. If “Obstacle Course Racing” is on the list, then Marching Band should be too, because it’s as much a sport as any other one on the list provided.
Other than that, I’m excited to start giving it a try!
Awesome app but... 5/5
It has changed my life but it can be a little hard to navagate.
