Malfunctioning app 2/5

For the past 2 months this app has been malfunctioning more often than it’s been operating rightfully.
It denies me login when I delete the app and reload it afterwards, the deals screen goes blank, unable to conduct my shopping since the discounts will not go through.

They many times have given me rotten produce, otherwise the order has been accurate. My produce is most important bc I usually buy organic so I spend a lot of money on it. I wish they had better training so the produce would come better when using the app.

Only feedback would be that the items in the app when you make the order are out of stock when you pick up. Today, the $6 chicken was not available so they offered the $19 chicken instead. We would have shopped for something else instead of chicken if the app showed the one we wanted was out of stock.

I just placed an order online to pick up at the local Vons in my area. I love going in there and shopping and the customer service is great that all the people that are friendly and it’s a great environment the prices are great and a lot of items I like. I’m hoping my pick up experience is this gratis my in-store shopping experience is I wanted to go shopping today but it’s raining and my kids were sick so I’m going to have to just pick it up. Thank you Vons for your help.

For more than one week now I continue to get a “service problem/please try again later”. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled the app a number of times, nothing seems to work so I have missed out on deals and rewards. It’s not user friendly and there is no line of sight as to when this will be resolved.

I’ve been to other stores Vons prices are pretty high I still shop there but there is a few other stores on some important items the other stores cut the price is right in half from Vons.

I love my Vons and I love the app, BUT a recent change is driving me bonkers. STOP asking me how I want to shop every time the app starts, that’s incredibly obnoxious. The app needs to save my choice and then not ask again! And don’t save it in some short-lived cache, either. Who’s driving around from one neighborhood to the next and constantly going to different Vons to buy groceries? The answer to that is “no one does that, not even a crazy person.”
And if I want to change from in-store shopping to either pickup or delivery, I can do that when the time comes… STOP asking every single time the app starts up! The Ralphs app does that and I HATE Ralphs.

Not able to ‘unclip’ a deal if done by mistake or change your mind. Either under shop or home, if I find an item I would like to add to to my list, that option is not available, only add to cart. When using the barcode scan option , it is hit and Miss if deals will show on product or not, based on Weekly ad. For future functionality, would be great if you could touch an item from the weekly ad and add it to your list or cart.

The app has stopped working since the most recent iOS update. Whenever you try to launch the app, it gets stuck at the opening screen and crashes after 20 seconds of seeing the launch screen. The best part about me leaving this review is the developer left feedback for someone else reporting this same problem. The developer suggested they log onto the app to report the issue. I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a stupid response to a problem in my entire life.

This app might work reasonably well if you’re using it to order online. I don’t know as I haven’t done that. It is impossible to use for the in-store deals. It never rings up the deal that you clip and the store clerks don’t seem to know how to make it work either. The first time I tried to use it the clerk just overrode it and gave me the deal I had clipped. The second time they wouldn’t do that so I just left the item even though I could’ve gotten it for half price if this app worked.

I would like to make a kind correction please: perhaps I’m confused, but I had been on the app and wanted to separate the Vons Cart from the coupons and the “clipped deals”.
