Works well with one exception limited stock means just a way to get you in the store. Second time I have made a 28 mile trip only to find item is not in stock or not even a slot on the shelf for it

I don’t think I’ve ever seen an app that made it more difficult to shop by department. Sure you can filter if you click through a bunch of menus. But some categories within the departments would make it much quicker.

Before the latest update I was able to search by categories in clothing, shoes and such. Now everything is crammed together. Please go back!

Sometimes I can’t add things to my lists or view my lists or registry, sometimes it won’t let me check in for a pick up or use Walmart Pay, a lot of the time it fails to load my savings catcher and my purchase history. But when this app does actually work it’s great. But it is more frustrating than useful

I think that’s it’s so stupid that the updates don’t even tell you what they are doing just says update to keep quick and sparkling. Like I wanna know what the update is doing
Store pickup less available 2/5
Why does the app not let me place orders for items that I know they have in the store I prefer? It will like block the store. Or sometimes it ships to the store when I just want it same day. Example: they had dove dark chocolate candies. I scanned it and was trying to order it but it was going to ship to that store. There were like a hundred of them at that store. Why would I want two day shipping(and the heat to melt the candies) when the chocolate is in my hand at that store?
Pickup would have been convenient due to the stores always being understaffed in the checkout process. But... Wal🔆Mart lost my business that day. 😣
Then one day I try to order multiple items and it says that I cannot choose the store I usually use because of product availability. Why not tell me what items were available and what items weren’t. Or give me the option to have them shipped to that store? Sorry, but this Pickup process and Wal🔆Mart.com needs work.
Also, why don’t they actually explain their updates since they seem to update a lot instead of just saying “update your app to keep it sparkling.”

How does a company this big have an app this bad? It’s slow, clunky and there is absolutely nothing intuitive about it. There is remarkable continuity in the complaints, that is, people are noting the same problem areas over and over yet nothing seems to change. In fact, it seems to just get worse. This is a bad app, period. There is no excuse for such poor development and lack of responsiveness. Walmart, you really need some new developers.
Terrible App Filters 2/5
The filters on your app are terrible. Look up other clothes sites (TARGET) and see how it’s done. I love buying your tank tops, but it takes FOREVER to go through them due to the lack of filters. And also, quit displaying stuff that’s out of stock!
In store pick up BS 1/5
I tried to buy flea drops for my dogs online
it said pick up at the store today but in reality I couldn’t pick it up for five days
I drove all the way to the store they said they had it in stock in the back but could not get it for five days

Since the last update some of my categories don't have anything in them. If i try to look at clothing I tap it & there are no subcategories or anything. It just looks like they don't have clothing anymore. Terrible app right now.
It’s OK, not the best! 3/5
Lately, I’m able to view my purchase history so I’m able to check-in for my pick up orders. I find myself uninstalling and reinstalling every time. It becoming a pain. Also, the items listed in stock at store locations seems to be wrong.
I do like the option to scan barcodes in the store to find pricing since it’s hard to hard customer service from the workers. The savings catcher use to be a lot better and more beneficial but I use it more to save my receipts for returns now, which of course goes back to my issue of being unable to view your purchase history.
Constant repeat of items. 3/5
Why when you look for an item there is constant repeat if the same items o er and over? And why if I want a 70 inch round table cover I can’t just see round table covers ( just an example.) I know I see repeats of items over and over no matter what I look for.

Savings Catcher freezes 1/5
Every time I open up the Savings Catcher it pops up with a Please Log In screen and freezes. I am already logged in. Just did an update and it’s still freezing.

My Sam’s credit card keeps showing up as a Discover Card in the Walmart app checkout page,thus making it unusable on the app while trying to purchase items.

This app use to be the best but it seems they change something and it gets worse and then again and again, I've called to complain bc during holidaze people could look up your list or your roommate will pick up stuff and look what I need in my grocery "list" and now nobody can even access the lists and I deleted one item on a list and it deleted the entire list (over 20 items). The prices aren't right anymore and often "in store" is a completely different price than picking up at the store. I'm beyond disappointed
Every time I buy something off of here and try and look at the shipping/delivery status I always get a “Oops, something went wrong”. Seriously! Get the bugs fixed, then it’ll be a great app.

If I do a search for women’s tee shirts why am I getting a list of men’s Hanes shirts and toddler outfits. The search engine is useless. I’ve never been able to find what I want because the filters don’t work.
The app will not let you scan your receipt to mark items off a registry! This needs to be fixed.

The idea for this app is awesome. The app is awesome...when it works. It is by far the slowest app I use, it takes forever to load into your receipts and savings catcher functions. This app is highly unreliable. I keep myself logged in, many times I open it and it asks me to log in, only for the login to not work. The app frequently goes down where you can access the main screens but it errors out getting to any of your order history, Walmart pay, etc. Also, when the app “connects” with the crappy WiFi in Walmart stores it basically freezes and I have to turn off WiFi and use my data for the app to run. With every update, I get hopeful, only to be disappointed.

It’s frustrating when I am at check out & I am wanting to use Walmart pay but it won’t let me bc of the connection at the store. Thank goodness I bring my purse in the store just in case it’s not working to use my phone.

This app is one of the worst I’ve ever tried to use. It freezes every time I try to use it. Images won’t load. It may or may not add things to the shopping cart when you click on it. Very frustrating.
Browsing is not a problem, but viewing the purchase history is awful. It works sometimes but 85% of the time it doesn’t.

I wanted to do business with Walmart because after all they employ people in my local area, but after my only experience purchasing through their app, I'm going back to Amazon and other retailers.
Last week I made my very first purchase on the app, and tracked my products' delivery for a few days until finally (today) the glorious day of estimated arrival came, but nothing arrived as it was supposed to. Instead something rather mysterious happened:
I went on the app at around 11pm and oddly enough I noticed I was automatically logged out of my account, it took several attempts to log back in, and when it finally happened, my whole purchase history was empty, blank, wiped!
I contacted customer support and chatted with Ryan B, provided him with all the transaction information, but he neither could nor tried to clear out the situation. A copy/paste-kind-of apologie was offered, and simply said it was a system error, followed by the most delusional request asking to reorder the item(!?!?!?) -I couldn't believe he was actually insulting my intelligence with such request!
He said I should contact my financial institution (PayPal) and also said my money should be transferred back to my account in 5 business days from the original transaction date, which is in two days time from today.
By sharing this experience I hope other/potential customers are aware of the risks of using this app, and also hope corporste leaders take action to solve this issue before their reputation damages their business.
To summarize, Walmart has still a long way to become a reliable online retailer, and its app is far from good as it's currently rated about 3 stars.

Items can’t be add to cart, can’t view this item, etc. “Try again later” never makes things better, guys.
You go on the app and it acts like you can buy anything, you wait the allotted time to see if your purchase went through and then find out that you can’t pay for a gift card with paypal online! It’s right here in questions and answers, like I’m going to go research if I can pay for it! If it goes through AND WALMART TAKES YOUR MONEY OUT OF THE ACCOUNT you should get your product!!!! Otherwise DONT TAKE MY PAYMENT!!!!! Now I have to wait FIVE DAYS TO GET MY HUNDRED BACK BECAUSE WALMART TOOK IT OUT AND DECIDED NOT TO SEND THE E-GIFT CARD?!?! This is a joke!!!! Go shopping somewhere else!

Slow & Crashes 3/5
Super slow & crashes multiple times. Not just a couple or a few but many times consecutively! I like to place an order 1 or 2 times a month online. Filling my cart over time my purchase qualifies for free shipping. This is “Great”. It’s very difficult going out as I am handicapped. It also takes only 2 days to receive it. Again, Great! BUT getting into the app is extremely frustrating! Again, because it’s super slow & crashes multiple times. I’ve been patiently waiting to see if I get an update that will fix it. But it’s not happening! Please remedy this problem & I will gladly give you 5 stars.

Impossible to access pharmacy 1/5
I’m SO disappointed in this app! My pharmacy recommended using the app because I never know if I have prescriptions on hold. I’ve tried numerous times over the past month or so to add pharmacy. Every time I try to add it, I follow the directions for verification, and it gives me an error message. I’ve changed my password, I’ve deleted the app and re-downloaded it, and I made sure my phone is up to date. The error message keeps popping up. 😡

Pretty Good with One Annoying Quirk 4/5
I do like the app, and Savings Catcher does work very well for me. The one annoying quirk is when shopping with the app, it quite often says it has moved my cart items to my buy later list, because they are out of stock. But when I go from the list, and add them back to my cart one by one, it accepts them. So far, this has only happened with big ticket items, so I wonder how many sales they missed because they incorrectly said something was out of stock?
