    This app is either a digital bait & switch or the prices in app for some of their glasses are wrong. I reached out to @WarbyParkerHelp on Twitter regarding this question and received the following reply: “Thanks so much for your feedback! We apologize for any confusion—our non-prescription sunglasses and single-vision eyeglasses start at $95 but may have a higher base price depending on the lens options chosen.” To begin with my original inquiry wasn’t “feedback.” My original tweet asked, “Why do these Perkins say “Starting at $95, including prescription lenses” but when adding them to the cart with single-vision lenses they get jacked $80 to $175?! A digital bait and switch?! Warby Parker claims to have a “lofty objective: to offer designer eyewear at a revolutionary price” and a $95 price that included prescription lenses would have indeed been revolutionary. But there is nothing revolutionary about glasses stating at $95 including prescription lenses for an additional $80; I can get a better price at Walmart. The Warby Parker app is just a digital bait & switch, don’t bother believing their marketing hype and don’t bother downloading this app.

    DO NOT buy from this company. I have spread the word to my teacher union, as well. These crooks charged my account $500 for “FREE” try on service. Instead of simply requesting for a return of the NON prescription frames instead of charging my account $500 during a pandemic. Disgraceful and POOR business. Customer service girl was rude & admitted to having the wrong email on file but REFUSED to credit my account. Worst company I have worked with in a long time. Would have given 0 stars if it let me.

    Love my frames but disappointed that they came very crooked. Will have to take somewhere to get fixed as there is no Warby Parker store here in Iowa. When set on flat surface, one side is up 1/4in....frames are full hard plastic so can’t exactly bend straight...

    Really expected to save more money based on what I had seen about this site. When it all came down to it, even with the discount for multiple pairs, I am paying the same price I would if purchased through my local eyecare store. By buying local, I support my local community and will have no problem getting issues resolved. It was a nice thought and it’s a neat option to try on at home but the prices are ridiculous unless you’re getting very plain Jane frames and lenses.

    First , my prescription was read incorrectly. I was told it was for contacts, not progressives though it was clearly marked.After several tries I validated it, then I’m told it wasn’t the “official “ prescription copy, and they needed MORE time and hassle to verify with the doctor. What??? Are you for real? I canceled my order and the problem it had become. No one communicates with each other in that company.

    This is the first time I have been compelled to write a review for anyone. First, the buying process was very easy; the home-try on feature was very helpful (both the in-app version and the actual glasses they sent out to me to try on). The glasses are of extremely high quality. Nevertheless, it turned out they didn’t quite correct my vision issue as I hoped. When I called to ask about this, the representative was extremely caring and worked with me to correct the issue. He waived the 30 day return window to give me time to get the glasses adjusted and so I wouldn’t be hurried or concerned about it. He also offered to reimburse me for getting the glasses adjusted. When this didn’t fix the issue, he offered to re-make the glasses to ensure that they were made correctly. Now, after wearing them for a few weeks, they really have given me the benefit I was after. Every representative I communicated with was kind and really cared about me getting what I needed. Thanks!

    My first order last year was riddled with errors and delays. For my second order, WP just didn’t send me my glasses. For 10 days, the app said that my glasses were being worked on and they simply failed to send them. Then they cancelled the order. Sometimes you get what you pay for.

    My progressive lenses were off. To their credit they did take them and try to fix them. They came back worse. They weren’t willing to help other than a fifty dollar credit towards more frames. Which I never got. I had to take them to my eye dr. They had to make an entire new set. They said they were really messed up. So one pair of glasses ended up costing me almost six hundred dollars. So won’t do that again. I’ll still buy frames and readers from Warby just not script lenses. The frames are excellent.

    Dudes, I rarely write reviews but I found myself raving to my friends about how much I loved this app. I kinda just downloaded it to window shop for new glasses but ended up purchasing frames that I love and that are very different than I’d normally try on in the store/doctor’s office. I honestly don’t know if I’d try them on if it weren’t for the app. The vr is so cool and helpful because you could really get a sense of what they’ll look like on you. Like when you move your head side to side, you can see how the arms fall on the side of your face. I hate when I’d try other apps where they’re like,”try it on,” and make you upload a photo of your face and it’s so lame because it’s just so hard to tell if it’s actually gonna look cute on you. Anywayyy, good job on making a cool and functional app guys!

    Both Kip and Matt provided excellent assistance today. Kip adjusted my frames to my specs, and worked with me to get the right fit. The next day, I realized the frames didn’t fit as well as my previous Warby Parker frames. I returned to the store and Matt listened as I described my situation. Ultimately, I returned the new pair and ordered a different pair. Both Matt and Kip truly listened as I described what was going on, and they both provided outstanding service! Listening to what your customers are describing... that never goes out of style! Thank you!

    Love my new glasses! I wanted them adjusted by Warby Parker so I traveled a half hour to the store and they are closed...well closed for me and my adjustment. The door was locked but an associate came to the door with a customer. The associate said they were closed for adjustments as they had no optician, which seem odd for an eyeglass store. I called the store last week to find out the hours and they didn’t mention the closure. I didn’t get the store when I called, but a central call center.

    This is a great app and the home try-on is very easy. I found myself very frustrated that they didn’t have many styles in the narrow and extra narrow sizes. That would make this the perfect app for petite women like me.

    Warby Parker must’ve run by children 1 week after I placed an order, I received a text message from someone claiming to represent WP, telling me that they “struck out” in obtaining my script from my eye dr. I knew my eye dr. was open for business, so what did “struck out” mean? Did they call once and forget it? I asked this of the unidentified individual in a response text. I received a non-answer response asking if I “wanted them to try again”. I replied ‘YES’. I never received a response to that issue. 1 week later I received another text message from someone claiming to represent WP, asking me if I want “thin lenses”. I responded ‘YES’, that’s why I specified thin lenses in my order. A few days later I received another text message from someone claiming to represent WP, asking me “what type of vision I want”, reading vision, computer vision, or distance vision. I responded ‘Please READ my script, my vision is ON my script’. I then asked the unidentified to confirm that they did, in fact, have possession of my script’. Never got an answer. The online-reported order status for this 3 week old order is “Working on it”. What the heck does that mean? I emailed to request a cancellation of this order due to incompetence. My guess is my cancellation request will be ignored like every other request I’ve made, and I’ll receive the order eventually. i suggest using HipOptical.com as an alternative to the disfunctional Warby Parker

    I ordered my high index prescription glasses without seeing the frame in person and used the Warby Parker app to get the focal points right in the progressive lenses I needed. The glasses turned our just right! I can see great, and the frame isn’t too heavy. With all of the Zooming I have to do for work, it was super to be able to order from the safety of my own home and now, to be able to change my look on Zoom by adding a new pair of glasses to my repertoire. I think Warby Parker is very ingenious and commend them for solving a few glasses-related annoying problems. Go, WP! You scored some serious points with me.

    I received my new glasses yesterday, and it was quite a procedure with me getting my old prescription right and the right placement in my glasses. I have one eye a little lower than the other so we had to take a picture with the new frames on so they could get it right because I have progressive lenses. But they managed to get it all right and I love my new glasses. I wanted sun glasses but these turn a light tint but not dark enough for sun glasses? Any thing I can do?
