I’ve only had the glass for less than a day but I wanted to speak to the virtual try on and ordering process.
First of all, the virtual try on option on the app gave me a stress free experience that required very little time and effort on my part. The glasses match what I was expecting.
I ordered these glasses specifically for the blue light lenses because I’ve been getting more headaches now that I’m working from home. I did not know my prescription so I had to put in my eye doctor’s information and figured there would be a delay with Warby Parker having to contact my doctor, especially with everything being closed right now. I assumed they’d take about two weeks to arrive. They were shipped one day after I ordered them and were in my mailbox 5 days after my order date.
This has been a fantastic purchasing experience and I would definitely recommend Warby Parker to anyone.

I have never written a review in my life, I felt like this app deserves it. My entire experience of doing the at home try on and ordering my glasses was excellent! It was so easy to send my frames back and I did indeed find a frame that I LOVED! I sent them a picture of my prescription and they uploaded it for me. The prices are unbeatable, I had paid a little over $200 for my last glasses and the pair I ordered from this app was just under $100. I was going to wait until my glasses came in to write a review, but I have no doubts that they will be perfect. Thank you so much!!
Terrible EXPERIENCE 1/5
Customer service is VERY VERY slow. They made an error that cost them 3 days to respond back to me. I even ended up paying more than expected because they failed to mention they were going to charge me the difference from the new pair I chose. They made it seem like it was complimentary because they messed up on their part. I ordered expedited shipping for nothing because it’s taking them forever to even get started. I am VERY VERY disappointed with this service that many people said was great. I’m going through with my purchase because I need my glasses ASAP in order to get back to work. I needed sunglasses and some contacts as well but I’ll take my business somewhere else for that. Terrible experience.

The fact that they let you “try on glasses” through their app was just great! Found the perfect pair of glasses. This was my first time buying from them, so I decided to call customer service and they were with me every step of the way! My experience has just been amazing and I cannot wait til I get my glasses! 😁

The frames are high quality and unique. I never find cute frames like these at the eye doctor! The process was pain free even during the current state of the world. I was able to use the try on option and order my glasses within a week. I have already recommended to some friends!

Great app but the one thing I don’t like is that I couldn’t add accessories to my cart through the app. Wasn’t too bad because I just logged in on my laptop and then switched back to the app.
Not enough home try-on options 1/5
I love the virtual try-on feature. I narrowed down my options to 6 favorites with 1 top favorite. But then only 3 out of the 6 were available for try-on. My top choice that I would have been the most excited to try-on wasn’t available. I’m disappointed I wasted my time. I am extremely picky and will never pay over $100 for a pair of glasses I didn’t get to try on first. I would rather go to a shop in-person. I will not be trying on or purchasing anything unless more options become available for home try-on.

Just received my 2nd pair of WPs and I loooove(ll) them! They’re my favorite glasses I’ve owned and the experience couldn’t have been better. I have been paying WAY TOO MUCH for my frames and prescriptions lenses over the past 10 years, but not anymore!! I received my glasses about a week and a half ago and have been amazed so far. I ordered my frames in wide which I am so happy I was able to do. Normal frames are usually to small on my face. I’m also extremely exited that the lenses are scratch resistant and there’s no glare. Usually those perks cost extra in any store!! I hope those claims hold up because like I said I’ve only been wearing them a week and a half. I’m pretty reckless with my glasses and so far so good! The box the glasses came in was very professional and clean. I liked it so much I’m still using the box to store items 🙈 All of this for a total of about $101 after tax! Amazing!!! Anyhow, I’m overall joyous!! Thank you Warby Parker!
Just a note - I really want prescription sunglasses but I just could find any I liked. I hope in the future you get a bigger selection in all departments!!

Virtual Try On Not Actually Included & Home Try On Doesn’t Have All Styles 2/5
As someone whose supported Warby Parker for many years, I’m very disappointed that the app does Virtual Try On for people who have the more recent iPhones/phones, when it should be catering to people everyone, no matter how old your phone is. Ironically the Virtual Try On is supposed to help people who either don’t have a store nearby or cannot really afford to invest in the new styles every season, so trying on a couple of pairs to see what you can invest in for the long run is more practical.
It still irks me that the Home Try On doesn’t include all the styles, since they exclude the newest collections from being tried on. How do you expect me or anyone to want to purchase the new collection when I can’t even try it? What about busy people who can make that investment in new styles every season who can’t make that time to get to a store every so often?
The app isn’t as amazing as just using the site, since the only incentive is just the Virtual Try On, so if you have an older iPhone/phone, don’t download the app. Save your space for something actually worth the download. I used to refer Warby Parker to everyone because of the Virtual Try On, but this app, was not worth telling anyone about. Really disappointed.
Be Sure You Know Everything Before Buying 1/5
I got a $130 fee added on top of my frame after I had already purchased. They gave no upfront information that a smaller lens cost significantly more. I felt as if I was forced to get this. You should be more transparent when selecting the different options prior to purchasing.

Sent Wrong Prescription “TWICE” 1/5
I ordered my original glasses over 2.5 weeks ago. Since then I have received two pairs of glasses with one lense correct and the other lense at a different prescribed strength. I have now gone through 2 returns and will most likely wait another week before I get my original order. Not to mention they won’t give me a refund or credit of any kind and said I could hold onto the glasses I can’t see out of until the new ones arrive. Really?!
Unfortunately, I have an order in for sunglasses and who knows if they will be right.
I would be fine if they owned up to their mistake and at least offered a credit for what I have had to go through during this process.
The only reason I have given one star is because the glasses themselves (Frames) are nice.
Do better please, just do better.

Inexcusably Late 5/5
This was originally a one star review because I couldn’t do zero stars. The second of my two orders was inexcusably late. I was give excuses and incorrect statuses several times. It was very disappointing following the fantastic experience with the first order for my sunglasses. Their tracking capabilities were almost nonexistent which was surprising, if not infuriating. Hopefully, it was a one-time perfect storm. After discussing the issue with several people at WP they were understanding of the issues and corrected the issue I had to my satisfaction. Though they were very late, I did receive my glasses and they are perfect with great value, great quality, great design and great fit. In fact these, actually, are the best glasses I have ever had. It was a very bumpy start on this second pair but it finally worked out very well.

Very easy to look over their selection, love the free “try on” policy; the only thing that kept it from being a 5 for me is I didn’t see a way to move a selection from my “try on” order to the shopping cart. It was easy enough the find the glasses again in the shopping page, but why not just being able to click “move to cart”?

I was a little skeptical about the entire process w/ going from a traditional experience for shopping for optical lenses to using an app. Warby Parker has figured out an amazing way to get your vision and style aligned in short order.
All you have to do is download this app, chose your gender or just browse the hundreds of pairs of frames they have available. If you have a newer device such as iPhone X series, then you will be able to take advantage of the AR capabilities and “try on” most frames without visiting a retail location. You also can order FIVE pairs for five days, shipped to you for FREE with a free return label. AMAZING!
Once you chose your new love, you can jump on to the app and order at an amazing price! Mine took two days to get to me, this varies with what prescription you have. Easy, stylish, fun, and affordable!

I really appreciate the home try-on program, and apparent quality and affordability of the glasses. However, I’m disappointed to find so many frames don’t come in the narrow width. I really like the Percy frames, but don’t love the color options available in Narrow.
Happy with My WP prescription glasses ! 4/5
I didn’t think that I would be able to get the right fit and style and the progressive lenses I needed with WP. I got 2 try on boxes sent to me with various sizes and styles. But ended up liking the frame that was only available for virtual try on! But it worked. Actually surprisingly was excellent and very well created. So End result; I’m very happy with my Glasses and get a lot of compliments.

My glasses were supposed to be delivered by 3/10 at the latest. Currently still showing as “working on it.” No one is able to give me an answer or update from my order placed on 2/25. Everyone says “looks like there was a lab delay,” like that’s my fault or problem. Worst service on a order I have ever received. Extremely disappointed in WP. Not to mention last year they filed my daughters glasses claim on my account. Seems like they are unable to work with insurance companies.
The try in at home feature is quick and helpful. Picking glasses from home is so helpful when you’re someone who doesn’t have much free time. The price is still high, but less than the usual price at a doctors office. Overall pleased with the service.

App has numerous design issues, e.g., limited menu options for eye GLASSES while WP also offers contacts, finding contacts is mysterious...; whilst pretty, mobile app is limited to Millennials’ scope of experience in the world (i.e., zero to none...) - human factors design input might expand your sales to more of us older folks (we’re not so selfie agile as younger audiences) if y’all’d make the PD measurement photo process as automatic as trying frames on virtually, for instance. There’re numerous other issues, but since I don’t work for y’all I ain’t debugging your app for y’all!
