Second time I have downloaded 5/5
I think this is an excellent app and mindful to a daily necessity. - Really appreciate it and please keep me further updated with other resources.
Mostly thrilled!! 4/5
By Little Blues Kitten
I love absolutely everything about this app— apart from one thing. When it syncs to my Apple health app, it puts the wrong amount of water! For some reason, it’ll add like 20oz of water than I actually drink when in my Apple health.
Apart from that, this app is definitely a wonderful buy!
EXACTLY what I was looking for! 5/5
The WaterMinder app is perfect! It's amazingly simple (especially with an Apple Watch) and has always worked flawlessly. The available complications for my watch are exactly what I was looking for, too. I downloaded it when the cost was $3 and I would gladly do so again. This is a MUST HAVE app for both health-conscious iPhone and Apple Watch users!
No longer works on Series 1 Watch 3/5
I loved this app since finding it last year. It was so easy to keep track of how much fluids I had had during the day. However, since June 13th, 2019, shortly after the WWDC, the complication no longer works on the Series 1 Watch. I can still add things in on my iPhone but it was so much more convenient on my Watch. I know the Series 1 is getting old but couldn’t the developers have made it compatible just a little longer? Oh well, maybe this is a hint that it’s time to upgrade.
Update: Developer contacted me with instructions on how to fix this. And it works! Thanks Funn Media.
My best new App 5/5
I was never a water drinker. But now it remains me to drink I never knew including coffee tea sauce drinks was part of your hydration for the day. My wife and I challenge each other and makes it to the limit
Dynamic reminders were a huge missed opp 4/5
App is slick and has a ton of configuration options to personalize the app, but the biggest feature I expected to find was dynamic reminders. I blindly trusted the app’s position on the health app leaderboard and bought it without researching it much, and that’s my fault. But the reminders are static, and I expected more from a $5 app. Having 50 icons to choose from for your water buttons is nice, but I’d rather have options with my reminder settings. I get plenty of notifications from my phone as it is. The default settings include 7 reminders throughout the day. I only want reminders if I’m falling behind and not trending toward 100%, but as it is, I’m going to get 7 reminders every day regardless of progress. I’d like to be able to set a reminder to trigger on certain criteria, for example if I haven’t logged anything in over 3 hours, or if it’s 2:00PM and I am not yet 30% of the way to my goal.
Great app 5/5
This is not necessary as I already had a way to add water but this app is very polished and just fun to use. The only thing I would love to see is caffeine added to health for soda and coffee.
Notifications and Reminders 4/5
I would have given this app a 5 star rating in a heartbeat, the design concept and functionality of the app is flawless. My only concern I have for this app is the notifications. I own an iPhone XS and Apple Watch 4 that I keep updated regularly, but for some reason the application fails to send me notifications properly, regardless of how many times I turn off notifications/reminder both in my Settings and inside the app itself. I have also shut down my phone and watch countless times to see if this would help, but it hasn’t sent me several notifications when I have them set as custom as well. If there was a way to improve this function it would be greatly appreciated and I would change my rating back to a 5 Star.
Works Okay 3/5
Does an okay job of tracking drinks. Doesn’t allow unlimited “cups” which makes tracking from Apple Watch more difficult than it should be.
Sync is unbearably slow 2/5
By Daryl Zero
You can’t edit entries on the watch, so that makes the obscene delay between the watch and iPhone app just unbearable. Maybe I entered the last glass I finished, maybe not. It will take 10–15 minutes* for the iPhone app to update so I can check.
Also, I have enough different sized water bottles, cups, glasses, and drink types that I really need the Siri shortcuts at least to be unbound by the UI limitations of the watch and iPhone apps.
*This is not an exaggeration. I tried refreshing for several minutes, switched to write this review, then went back to find the iPhone app still shows half the consumption that my watch does.
Intuitive and configurable 3/5
Great watch app that makes it very easy to record what you are drinking. You can configure the sizes and icons so you only need a few taps to enter data. I wish it had better health integration to adjust targets based on exercise. I wish it could also adjust based on weather. I found a free app that does this and going to use that instead
Love the app 3/5
App is great. It’s annoying the rating message box pops up a lot.
Works great. NOT worth $5. 2/5
Not sure how I got charged for this one — but somehow it upgraded. I was charged $5 for a super simple app that solves a problem that many other apps take on. These folks make HabitMinder too — I find that app way more convenient — phone and Apple Watch apps.
Does the trick 5/5
Simple set up. Easy to setup your shortcut default liquids. Works as advertised. I love the ability to update daily intake via ios widgets shortcut screen. Connects seamlessly with Fitbit and Apple health apps for syncing data.
Stay Hydrated Kids! 5/5
By I'm Aidan Guys
I always had trouble remembering to drink enough water. This app is squeaky clean, has a nice interface and is supper useful. I already feel healthier from downloading the app. Not bad.
Stay Hydrated! 💦 4/5

Thanks for your reply; I can’t wait for the next update!
Adding Siri Shortcuts is a delightful use for this app, and I’ve found myself “religiously” logging water throughout the day using them. 😊
I enjoy this app with its simplicity, and easy-to-use interface.
Now, that being said, I just reinstalled this app (yesterday) after 2 1/2 years because of some frustrations that I see have still not been resolved:
1. I love the fact that Achievements and HealthKit data are restored even if you uninstall/reinstall the app, but you always have to re-enter your information (name, age, style of avatar, etc.), and any “Cups” you may have manually entered; also, if you manually input something on one device, you also have to do it on any others on which the app is installed.
2. If I have just logged a drinking session (especially, if I just drunk 30-40 oz of fluid), I will get an alert — sometimes within five minutes — telling me to “drink water.“ Please find a way to have the app recognize when a session has not been logged for at least an hour; not sure if this may be the culprit, but I have logged all of my sessions using Shortcuts. (I ❤️ THIS FEATURE!). But, maybe not, as I had the same issue when I last used the app.
Other than these minor “irritations,“ this app is very full-featured, and is a great way to sync water data from ANY device to the iPhone-only Health app.
Welp, just got my alert to drink some water as I finished up this review… Now I’m kind of thirsty. 😆
Like it 5/5
very useful! I really recommend it👍🏻
No good 1/5
iPad version does not sync up with my ⌚️& 📱needs to be fix. But my 📱 sync up with ⌚️.
Works perfect 5/5
Works with Apple Watch even without the phone.
I like 5/5

Muy completa para conseguir objetivos a quienes nos cuesta asimilar los momentos de beber agua.
Nice app, but missing few things ... 4/5
By Golem II
Application is really nicely done, it allows you to configure almost everything, it’s fast, pretty, shows nice statistics or give achievements.
What I am missing a lot is that app cannot read data about me from health app. I had to manually configure my sex, weight and type of activity. All these information should be automatically read on regular bases from health app as they can change and in health app it will be automatically propagated ... (I am using scale for weight and watch for activity)
Upcoming Release! 5/5
Wow! It’s so good already! It’s especially convenient and useful on an Apple Watch.
Convenient app, use daily 5/5
Great app I use daily. The reminders work perfectly.
Just get it - already. 4/5
Finally, an App that is dedicated to helping remind me to drink the 3 liters (100 oz) a day that I need (Women get 2 L). Graphic is excellent and is an instant seller when folks want to know what that sound is....
Put it on your watch to capture every time you are beyond arms length from your phone- it makes for a accurate counting of those ounces.
I am on a Keto Diet and it essential that I get all of my 3 L in a day - or risk medical complications. I have tried counting the water bottles, buying a 2 L jug (but seriously- who wants to lug that around), even stacking my refrigerated water bottles on my desk just to have them come up to room temperature.... and am free of all that now. One glance of the icon on the corner of my watch dial and I know how much I drank and how much to go.
Developer: my only ask is to not prompt me to drink more when you know that I had a drink moments ago. For such an awesome App it would rate a 5 if you put in logic to know when I last had a drink and prompt me again from that time. Deducted a star.
Awesome and satisfying! 5/5
Who ever thought that one would spend $5 to track your water intake?! But it’s a total game changer. The reminders and overall logging system are fantastic!
Needs better notifications 2/5
I wish this app had smart notifications for example only send a reminder if I’m off track based on my water intake goal divided by number of reminders I want throughout the day.
Best water tracking app! 5/5
Simple, intuitive, customizable, and very nice looking. Couldn’t ask for more. <3
Don’t forget to stay hydrated. 5/5
I absolutely love this app. I get busy during the day and the subtle sound of the water reminder keeps me in check. I am 3 months post lung transplant and am on a ton of meds that need to be flushed out of my body. This is helping a lot!
Kills my Apple Watch Series 4 battery life 2/5
Something needs to change. I had to uninstall Waterminder to get my watch to last the day again.
Fun way to keep hydrated.need one for pets (dogs). Great thanks.
Notoriously dehydrated! 5/5
I’m notorious for being constantly behind in my water! Never got heat stroke but my husband has and he’s as bad as I am.
I got this app when I bought my Apple Watch a couple of weeks ago and I haven’t missed a day hitting my water and fluid intake goals....and I’m bringing my husband right along with me!
I especially like reading in the app about water/fluid intake and how important it is to our body. I appreciated knowing how much of the body is water and the impacts being dehydrated has on us. Thanks for the education!
Helping me hydrate daily 5/5
All my friends bug me about "not drinking enough water..." Now I'm much better at it! I love this app; I've been using it for several months and there's no turning back!👍
For the Family 5/5
I’m a family of 6. Three very active girls and one very active boy and we as parents love to find an easy way to keep the kids very healthy and competitive this app was a great essential way to do both.
Does not sync from widget 3/5
By Shaylin Lea
Will only sync between Apple watch and phone app when adding water intake through the main app. Will not sync if I’ve added water from the widget. As soon as I open the main app it syncs.
Notifications don’t add water 2/5
When I get a notification on my watch it has a list of additions on it. Whenever I tap one it not only doesn’t add to my water intake, it opens a second menu for some reason. Not sure. Works fine in the app, but issues on Apple Watch.
This is a cool app for dry people 5/5
When I first heard about this app, I rolled my eyes. But I do sit at a desk in front of a computer most of the day, and it really does help to have a periodic reminder to stop and drink something hydrating. Highly recommended!
Don’t call the plumber. 5/5
By Strength from God
This is a great application. However, the sound effects had me thinking my kitchen sink was gurgling up every so often until I realized it was the app reminding me to drink more water!😂😂😂
Worth the money! 5/5
I bought this app to make sure I get my water intake up. The alerts help if you get busy and forget to drink. Believe me when I say there’s no fun in having leg cramps due to being dehydrated! Love it!
Simple to use. Tracking is simple with easy edits. So nice to have an app that gently reminds. Refreshing way to help the user without annoying. Much nicer to have a “grandmother” reminder than an “overbearing parent” one.
Easy way to have a great, low cost health benefit of hydration.
By Mr bob the builder
I’ve tried not everything. The App was working completely fine sending notifications to phone and watch. Then just stopped. I have tried everything. I am happy to adjust my star rating once fixed.
Great reminder 5/5
Without this app I forget to drink water. It keeps me hydrated. It works with my Apple Watch as well as my Apple phone and iPad.No matter where I am or what I’m doing I get the reminder to drink water.
Water app 5/5
Great way to be reminded to drink my water
Really like the UI 4/5
By Hippie MX
I think it is a really good app, I would give it five stars if I could pick days of the week to enable/disable notifications. It's annoying having to manually disable it so I don't wake up to it on weekends after a long night out
Great, but one suggestion. 4/5
Is there a way we could get an option to change what times the notifications come in? I’m not awake during ‘normal’ hours so by the time I wake up I’m already getting 2-3 reminders. Maybe an option where you can choose what hours you’re usually awake? Thanks!
Good but lacking features 3/5
I’d really love if this app had the option to push notifications/reminders based on when you last drank, rather than just based on what time it is.
For example: if I drank 8oz at 10:20am, it would remind me to drink another 8oz at 11:20am. Or if I drank 16oz at 1:43pm, it would remind me to drink 8oz at 3:17pm or something.
Because it’s much more user friendly to be reminded, but many times I can’t drink for some time, so I get backlogged and my drinking times get squeezed together. Or I drink earlier before a reminded and it messes up the schedule.
Otherwise it’s a good app.
It is impossible... 5/5
By sonrisa arquitecto
Really, it is impossible to describe the phenomenal beauty of this app in a short review! From the gracious layout to the limitless possibilities to customize, and personalize- this app is way above any similar ones .
Yes, it comes at a cost. But after trying the “best” of Water Counting apps of the Free Group, I truly realized that $5.00 for this app is ,basically, a gift to us from the developers!
In a few words: Easy, Sophisticated, Stable.
To the Developer: Well done! Bravo!
