So buggy that I am going to cancel after. Had a subscription for years. 1/5
Can't delete previously downloaded magazines. Can't delete sections. Doomed to have the magazines waste space on my iPad.
HATE the new version 1/5
I'm canceling my subscription and wish I could get a refund. I used this app to download magazines and read them offline, but with this update, it is no longer possible. I lost all the versions I had downloaded on previous versions of this app. I tried to download a few recent versions, but I still cannot access them without an internet connection. Also the layout is more like a poorly organized blog rather than a magazine. What a waste of money. After 3 years as a subscriber (and 33 lost issues that I had stored locally), I guess it's time to find a new health and fitness magazine.
How to Lose a Customer 1/5
This Powered by Maz format is awful. It does not feel at all like you're reading a magazine, and it has lots of bugs. Pages load slowly (I have great wifi), and the reading offline option is the worst. I have cancelled my subscription to both Rodale magazines I had because they all use it.
Cool update 5/5
Loving the extra content they've added in
Horrible New Format 1/5
By Love You Too
I hope they are paying attention to their reviews because it's so hard to navigate. I'd like the option to go back to magazine format , I didn't have the patience to try and find articles I was interested in! 😡 I have one month left , if this isn't corrected , I won't be renewing .
Get it together, Rodale 1/5
You'd think they'd make sure their app was in working order for new years resolution customers but no. Purchased a subscription in-app but it won't let me access anything and continues to treat me as a guest/trial user, even though the subscription page says I'm active). Tried all the suggestions in their FAQ on how to fix it (quit app, reinstall app) but nothing works. Super frustrating that they know this is an issue for users since they cover it in the FAQ, but can't help you actually solve it.
Impossible to read, digital magazine 1/5
This format is obnoxious. The former app platform worked so well. They replaced it with a system that only allows you the full magazine file to browse if you create an additional account. Want to use Facebook to log in and make the account for you? Sorry, that doesn't quite work and crashes. This is all for a previously purchased subscription through iTunes that suddenly gets you nothing except a bad "text version" of a few pages at a time. In the current market that digitally pushes accessibility of video content and links to audio and Internet content, this app makes zero sense.
They have completely ruined their digital format. The app is unusable, you cannot delete issues which is a huge waste of space (the directions are useless), my username & password no longer work, and the magazine is ridiculous to navigate. To make matters worse, they will not issue a refund for the unused portion of your subscription if you cancel. Total waste of money.
The new app has rendered the magazine unreadable. You can't scroll thru pages; you can't pick up where you left off, and it is just awful.
Like it better now 5/5
I like their new app. I'm actually going to start reading more of the articles now that it looks better on my phone. I wasn't a big fan of the old magazine format. Definitely things that can be improved but it's a good start.
Hate the update 1/5
I wish they never updated this app. It is in a weird format and I'm always having to log in just to download in offline mode and then it doesn't work right half the time. Please go back to your old app or fix all the bugs in this!
No good 1/5
Way to take a simple magazine app that used to work and make it completely non-functional. You can view the magazine in the traditional flip thru the pages way, but occasionally it goes back to the front page or the page goes black. There doesn't seem to be a way to remove issues that you've downloaded, so eventually that will cause space issues. It's no good. Quit trying to reinvent the wheel and just let me read the magazine in a normal fashion.
I can't read it on iPad 1/5
By Trig trinette
This update is worthless. I have the print subscription and the iPad. I can no longer access my iPad subscription. What were you thinking?
Subscription Cancelled 1/5
What an awful upgrade! Even if it did work...horrible format. I'll move to Zinio platform for $1.00 more.
Terrible app 1/5
I used to enjoy reading the mag on my iPad, now it is a new form of torture. It doesn't keep your place if you stop reading. It is a weird format to read in the text version, but easier to jump to where you left off. But when you switch to PDF, it goes back to the beginning. Then you have to swipe page by page to get back to where you left off. Please go back to the old version of the app!
Won't work 1/5
By Miz G
Terrible. Renewed my subscription and won't let me access new issues.
Also, it appears they have downgraded their technology to a cheaper PDF format. Ugh. May as well read the print version.
Hate the new format!! 1/5
Why change a good thing.
Horrible Update 1/5
I used to love this app. The update doesn't look as nice as the previous version. It no longer feels like reading a magazine. It also doesn't save your place. It's hard to remember where you left off without pictures. If you try flipping through the PDF quickly to find your spot, the app crashes. FIX THIS. I PAID GOOD MONEY FOR THE SUBSCRIPTION.
One big flaw 3/5
I love this magazine but I feel like as a digital subscriber I should not see my magazine on the shelf at the grocery store and not be able to access that newest month yet on my iPad!
Love print and digital 5/5
We go away for months at a time and love that I can keep up with my magazine still. So thankful for getting digital with print! Love contents of this mag too
The article format is annoying on this app, which is too bad because the content seems decent. I'm kicking myself for purchasing it for a year.
First newsstand purchase 4/5
Not bad for my first newsstand purchase. Happy to be able to send an article link to myself for print. So far so good.
I love that I can see the workouts.
Awesome app!!! 5/5
Love the convenience of opening this app for my daily reading
Love it 5/5
I love this app
Love this magazine but would also like to take it on the go and read on my iPad if I don't have the actual paper one with me. Won't let me log into my account to see iPad version and have tried several times even though it says digital subscription comes with the print one. Very disappointed.
Love it 5/5
I get a few magazines and so far this is the only one that gives me digital access along with print copy for no extra cost. I'll definitely keep this one
I just started using this app and so far really enjoy it. It's easy to navigate and read through when I need to pass some time.
Best part of mah month 4/5
By Tracey V
I love opening my newsstand and seeing a new issue of women health! This app is super responsive, smooth and better than a paper magazine.
The only qualms I have is that the new edition isn't available at the same time as the print edition... I've seen the new one in stores since last week and it's still not available on the app. Also, probably not app related but I'd rather not get both a print and digital subscription. I wish I could just keep the digital subscription.
Works great 4/5
The app is user friendly and works great.
Not worth the effort to download 1/5
Have spent 30 minutes trying to sleep sign in using the username and password I was assigned to no avail.
My own handbook on being a women. Incisive and focused on the topics all women need to know or want more info on.
Very convenient and helpful!
Great magazine, great app! 5/5
I have the hard copy magazine and the emagazine. I love both and the e-version is great because it has special features that the paper version doesn't, like special video clips and other special features. I would highly recommend this magazine app.
Easy to navigate from the headlines 4/5

Easy to navigate 5/5
I love this app, it is so easy to flip through!
Disappointed subscriber to iPad version 1/5
By App Not launching properly
I am so disappointed with my women's health subscription I purchased to read on my iPad. I subscribed in 2013 but have only been able to read one magazine. The app stopped working after an iTunes/Apple update and I cannot open or view anything. I have tried to contact Rodalr customer support without success. I just want to be able to read what I paid for!!

Love it! A lot of great articles
Give us workout Images 1/5
By Best for Intermediate/Advanced
Give us workouts we can view on our phones at the gym. Not dysfunctional apps. Why is the paper version at the gym more preferable than the app in this day and age?
Love it !!! 5/5
I love this app is better than the paper magazine
Found out how to unsubscribe 3/5
App was okay. Good pictures and nice condensed format. I didn't realize it was set to auto renew. Finally found out how to stop auto renew. Go to settings, iTunes & App Store, click on Apple ID, view Apple ID, then go to manage subscriptions.
I find the app to okay
DON NOT TOUCH THIS APP yOU WILL BE CHARGED!!!! 1/5
By Kathy Tuck
I did not knowing ever - EVER get this magazine but now my I tunes account has been charged $19.99 and I am being told it cannot be "un-done". Stay away from this app - do not even look at it!!!!!
Don't trust it 1/5
I bought a year subscription via iPhone. The following year it auto re subscribed even though I didn't want it. In order to cancel I need to sign in which isn't possible considering the app requires a "mailing label account number" to sign in, which I clearly do not have because I bought this via app. So I'm out $20 for a magazine I do not read. When I contact itunes they simply said it was non-refundable. I don't even care, I just want to be sure it doesn't happen again and I can't even do that! Thanks a lot women's health and itunes!!
Great app 5/5
By Linda Voliva
Loads quickly, easy to use app, good content. I look forward to every issue.
Easy use 4/5
Love being able to have the buttons for expanding stories
Not what I expected 2/5
I subscribe TI women's health print edition and read that I could also be subscribed to the digital edition BUT the instructions don't work. I've spent a half hour trying to figure out how to download the magazine to my iPad with no success. If I can't get this TI work I might cancel the print subscription. Good luck.
Good, not perfect 3/5
By Siobhan Conley
App version would be so much more user friendly if allowed to rotate and read horizontally oriented. Every other magazine I read's ipad version allows this
I could never bring my subscription up to see even with technical support, yet they will renewed my subscription without notification. I couldn't get my money returned.
