I recently decided to switch jobs and was given a username and temporary password and promised I could access workday for 3 more years. The app does not support this whatsoever. After entering an organization that uses Okta, you’re redirected with no option for basic auth. Please fix.

This app and the program in general is a joke. If I go to put in a request for time off and make an error I can’t just go in and edit it. I have to wait for who knows how long then go and cancel the request then make a new request. There are too many steps to just request a day off. As a supervisor this makes things very difficult when staff make errors on requests that are for the same day. The old digital system we had for time off requests worked wonderfully, but this one makes me want to rip my hair out. Worst thing is clearly the people at Workday don’t care to simplify things or take input to improve the app.
As I’m going through and reading some of these reviews, I see that they have only followed up on a select few which shows they only want corporations money.

This app is crap!!! Sorry the rhyme but it’s true. Every time I log into the app it just sits there and doesn’t do anything. It would be nice to access this information for my place of employment, but now I hav e to wait until I get to work to access this information. Disgruntled employee!!! 👿👿👿👿

And using technology to distance us from people is wonderful
Also those that measure metrics of truck sensors no little to none of truck driving
The truck sensors may not be accurate or what they project is in accurate based on what they say the safety concern is
But it doesn’t matter because there’s a computer screen the leads action with very little interaction which is great
Entering Time at a later time 2/5
You can’t enter time at a later time. For instance, if I work 3-5 and I forgot to check in then it says the wrong time. It’s inconvenient.
I don’t understand why I can’t speak to someone in HR why I cannot have a face-to-face contact with masks with HR

I am a retired masters prepared RN. Hospitals run like well oiled machines and I have held many management positions within the system. I am so impressed with this corporation and so grateful and proud to be working with Wawa. I am so proud of the way Wawa treats its employees. Of course, I am not looking for a career but I would highly recommend Wawa to someone who is.

Either they need better help videos on how to operate this app, send all managers to a class on how to operate workday, or redesign it altogether so that operations don’t require extensive amounts of time to do the simplest things like transfer of personal.

Garbage app, garbage software, missing pay slips, wrong vacation accrual, wrong sick accrual, and an absolute unfriendly user interface. No tech support, and worthless training programs. What an absolute shame.

I will tell you I normally do not like burgers. But since I started working at red Robin and eating the food they have the top-of-the-line burgers there’s nothing needs to be changed keep going keep it up whoever makes the burgers or do an amazing job!!

Why have an app if you can’t do anything that you can do on the computer. All I can use it for is information. After reading the reviews, I’m glad my company doesn’t use this for payroll.

I think the login is intentionally made very difficult so employees can’t view their paystubs.
The 8.5 years I worked at Michaels were spent protecting my status in the company. Unfair labor practices that fell on deaf ears, unfair selection processes for hiring and promoting and the general treatment store of workers. Look at my training records and you will find blanks at no time was I given the opportunity to be a whole part of the team. This practice continues today and I truly hope the new store manager does not fall in the trap already set up. Bitter yes but I was confident in my work and my customer clientele will attest to the obstructions I was up against. Yes I will miss my customers but Michaels needs to have better accountability across the board.

Too many things you have to complete on desktop computer that you aren’t able to complete on app.
Doesn’t get rid of notifications once they are completed.
Can’t edit time on app in order to submit weekly time card
No way to set preference on work location where you check in every day. You still have to look up work location every single time.

Overall, from an employee perspective, this app serves my needs well. Unfortunately in the last few days myself and several other people with the same position have had an issue where, while checking in, filling in the necessary fields pushes the button to check in with outside the frame of the screen, making it unreachable, causing us not to be able to check-in. This has been irritating to us, and has made more work for management as they have to correct our clocks.

It worked great! Now it’s time to login again, and it does so from a pop up browser window. I login from the window, but nothing happens. App is useless now.

I’m upset that all of my colleagues can clock in/out on their workday app and I cannot! I don’t understand why everyone else can with the same credentials as me can do so but I can’t! So frustrating!
