Use this app to save! Cheaper than all the Cheapo sites and you earn real points and real discounts.
The app never remembers you, your password doesn’t work. You reset the password, it welcomes you, then you click on anything and it demands you log back and your brand new password doesn’t work. The app will show no vacancy but Expedia’s site shows rooms available and cheaper than the app. And my platinum level disappeared. The app has been garbage for 4 years. Let someone who knows how to write an app make a new one.

It is impossible to use this app to make a reservation. It changes the dates in your reservation every time. Then, you have to call the hotel to fix it. Such a waste of time. Just call the hotel to make the reservation.

Haven’t been able to book a room for four days. Keep getting a reservation system under maintenance message. HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO UPDATE AN APP? Four+ days?... I’m done
I am a member of Wyndham Rewards. I needed to book hotels for a road trip. First booking went smoothly. Second and third gave me problems. I saw that even though I input new dates, the app kept reverting back to the first date on the confirmation screen. I tried to change dates via both the app and their website, to no avail. Had to cancel reservations and start over. Works OK when it works, but check to make sure you are actually getting dates you want before you confirm your reservation.

I am relatively new to Wyndham Rewards but I am already a Gold member. The only reason I have been needing to use the app is for the newly acquired Americinn brand hotels. However the app has yet to include this hotel in their search options. So I am still having to go to Americinn website to search for that hotel. PLEASE add AmericInn to your app so I stop having to go to the website. It’s very difficult to use my reward points.

I had a horrible experience at a Days Inn in Gatlinburg. I was compensated with 15,000 rewards points, enough for a free night. I wanted to use those points at a Ramada in Fort Walton and had a really difficult time booking the reservation. You see, I wanted to stay a total of three nights (one night free and pay for two), but I couldn't figure out how to do that on the app and the several customer service representatives I spoke to were too confused to help. It was like these representatives were reading off a script and they didnt know how to communicate with me in any way that deviated from that memorized script. Eventually, I figured out I had to make two reservations (one for the rewards night and one for the paid nights) then call the hotel to link those reservations. Honestly, that is way more difficult than it needs to be, but if there is no other way, then the least the app could do is explain how to make a reservation using one free night and paying for additional nights. That would have prevented alot of frustration. All of this happened a week ago. I was relaxed and looking forward to starting my vacation. Then I got a voicemail from the rewards program saying that the Ramada is no longer in the program, that my free night was canceled, and that they could book me at another one of their hotels. I am furious that they can't honor this reservation that I've had for a week now. There is no comparable hotel in the area that is in the rewards program that is not already completely booked. The closest beach front hotel with availability is a Days Inn in Pensacola which is not as nice as the Ramada and is also under construction at the moment. Rates have also gone up since I made my booking. So why would I pay more to stay at an inferior hotel? I tried to call customer service to see what they could do for me. I was on hold, dreading having to speak to another terrible rep when I just gave up. I decided to stick with my original Ramada booking, pay for the third night out of pocket, and never ever stay at a hotel owned by Wyndham again. After I cooled off a bit, I tried the customer service line one more time because i realized that my rewards points had not been credited back to my account. The rep was pleasant and was easy to communicate with. When she couldnt find a hotel as nice as the ramada with availability I just got my points back. I was not offered any additional points for my troubles. Instead, I got a sales pitch for a credit card. This company really needs to work more on customer satisfaction and focus less on sales or else go the way of Wells Fargo, another company that lost the trust of its customers. By the way, the Ramada is still on the app, so people are still probably making reservations and having them canceled like I am! Hotels don't change ownership overnight. There is no excuse for the app to still offer free rooms that dont exist.

I would stay at Wyndham hotels more often but their app is so bad it literally discourages me from booking their hotels. Please start over and build an app that is actually useful to your customers.
Fix the order of reservations! 3/5
Great app, simple, effective. Would have rated it a 5 star until recently. Recent change arranges reservations by when they were booked instead of by reservation date - it’s maddening! Get it fixed so reservations are in calendar order!

The website is bad enough with booking errors but at least they have a reservation. This is down for maintenance half the time. When it works it’s ok just wish it was more consistent.

No complaints so far, opens quickly, making reservations is a snap and gives me my points info right up front. Makes it easy to use my points as well. Only thing I wish were better was the speed in which my points are credited to my account. It takes awhile.

I have been on the website trying to book a room with watermark tickets & it keeps trying to charge me $81? The package cost $119?? Therefore I’m downloading this app to try and get a room booked this is insane I’ve never had so much trouble trying to book a hotel room??
My husband said I’m crazy I’ve been trying for 2 hours so I made him try and he was so mad he was cursing!
The website doesn’t tell u what you are buying or what ur getting ? It says indoor/ outdoor pool but nothing about the water park tickets??!!!? Grrrrrr

This app is a complete and utter failure, I’ve thought long and hard and could not come up with anything that I thought was a bigger waste of time than this. It has never ever worked. Poorly designed, poorly maintained, I wish there was a zero star rating I could give it, because that’s what it deserves.

I finally downloaded the app after struggling with the mobile website and it won’t allow me to book a room through the app. I’ve been trying for hours, called customer service, tried again, and keep getting the same error message saying the booking feature is under maintenance, that I need to call a 1-800 number to book the room. What’s the point of having the app if I still have to call multiple times?? I’m starting to think Wyndham is making this as difficult as possible to avoid giving you the rewards.

This is definitely my program of choice for hotel rewards, and the app tends to work for the most part; however, I have found it to be a bit buggy. For instance, when I try and add my stats to the calendar, the app crashes.
Can’t change dates 1/5
App doesn’t allow you to select dates. After selecting dates you are stuck in a never changing screen. App works if you want a single night on the same day but not for future dates. Been using this app for years and now it is broken.
Fraudulent charge 1/5
Downloaded this app and saved my credit card information and in less than 6 hours, I had a fraudulent charge for a Wyndham hotel in a state I’ve never visited for over $600. Called the hotel and they refused to reverse the charge. Called customer service and they were closed.

When you go to put in the dates of your stay you can’t get back to search for any hotels. You’re just stuck. You have to close the app down, not that that helps any because the dates of your stay is the first thing that it asks after the city.

If you’re looking for an app that won’t allow you to find info on how to use your reward points and you enjoy endless repeats of errors and dead links, this is the app for you. Please get it together, Wyndham.
For real...I’ve supported you and you take a pansy stance on the NRA political pressure. You and I both know NRA pulled no triggers and the FBI and Sheriffs Dept could have done so much more to protect 17 innocent children. It’s easy to book a reservation; however, to cancel, you can’t use the app. You have to call, which takes about 20 minutes. VERY INCONVENIENT!!

I have had this rewards program for years. Between the app failing and this company taking weeks to months to post rewards points, customer service representatives seem to read from a script and give wrong information and then the supervisors getting upset at the customer when their staff is incompetent. I am so disgusted I believe I will cancel this membership it’s pointless parden the pun.

Doesn’t allow you to make a reservation 1/5
I have tried making a reservation for the last 24 hours with different credit cards. I keep getting a message that states their system is undergoing maintenance. They don’t respond to tweets where many have complained about this. I was able to make a reservation on my computer - so I don’t believe their servers are undergoing maintenance.

I've been with this rewards program for a long time... and this app just makes it handier. The bearded weird guy is kind of creepy, but reservations at a click are excellent.
