    Just installed the Adv Gateway last night and was able to configure several devices and everything was running smoothly...for about 10 mins. Now the app WILL NOT LOAD! It will not allow me to sign in on my iPhone or iPad, via WiFi or lte. I’m getting alerts about new devices being added, but the app will not let me sign in. I click sign in and nothing happens. I can’t even get to the username / pwd log in. Done with Comcast. I’ll be returning this and going with my own equipment. Yes I have the latest version of the app installed. Yes I’ve rebooted my iPhone and iPad. And no this hasn’t fixed the issue.

    Wireless box in the living room. Second one is freezing up as bad as the old one. Can someone tell Comcast how to fix it as it appears they have up line issues unresolved. I run a trace route and end up bogged down in Comcast land somewhere. ?????

    What’s the point of the Port Forwarding if the advanced security is going to block it anyways? Only way I could even get Port Forwarding to work is to turn off advanced security. That’s ridiculous. update since Comcast responded: Way to respond with a feature that doesn’t work. You honestly think I didn’t allow the “threat” (myself) to connect? Allowing myself would still block me. Like I said, only way it works is by disabling advanced security. Please fix your port forwarding advance security BS.

    They just had another rate increase and the internet service just got worst. Part2. Didn’t think internet speed could go any slower. Dumb me. It is. And I believed their lies and replaced THEIR modem with a newer model. Part 3. A developer just reached out to me and basically said the problem is on my end. Modem is old( theirs and newest model) Suggested I use their speed test app. Did that. That is how I know how slow their internet is running Said I have to many devices on line. Two phones and two laptops. Wow I must be overloading their network with all these devices.

    The functionality present is quite useful. I give it 4-stars at this point in time only because the app is young and could stand to have some more advanced features for power users managing fairly large networks. At that point, it merit 5-stars.

    I just switched to xFi and my Internet speeds have gone down instead of up. This is extremely frustrating, instead of getting 1Gig speeds, I’m lucky to get 75mb. Complete waste of time and money.

    I have setup time limits for my sons xbox and he recently started complaining that he was getting shutdown before he reached the time limit I set. I timed the activity from the moment the xbox was powered on and was able to witness this myself by timing it on my phone. Additionally, I noticed today that while he was at school and xbox was powered off the xFi app shows 30 minutes of activity. How is this possible when I’m the only one home? This totally defeated the purpose of the app if it’s not reliable!

    I am not able to add Sonos AMP to my WIFI network as with PODS added to my WIFI to extend my coverage, I cannot have both 2.4ghz & 5 ghz channels that are separate. I also cannot use my Deebot vacuums either as they require 2.4ghz channel as well. This needs to be addressed ASAP on these PODS.

    The app looks pretty but rarely works. I’m so disappointed with XFi. I spent so much hours money switching the the gateway modem and bought pods to boost signal and the system had slowed and freezes all the time. The app is notorious for freezing up. I hate it!

    Update 2019-11-12 This modem keeps blocking things and now, it’s blocking my extended and the people at Comcast have no idea what they are doing. Some of them can’t even speak english. Comcast. Here’s a tip: hire people that can speak English AND know what they are doing or at least train them better. Oct 1, 2019 I am a network admin and I deal with computers, firewalls, and routers on a normal basis. I’m looking for a whitelist feature on here and I’m not finding one. I am being blocked by sites that I want whitelisted and it’s getting annoying. You can only allow access for an hour. If I’m missing something, I’m not above being shown. If I’m not, please add it.
