My network activity shows high at 4:00 am! I’m asleep then!
It would be great to be able to review what the activity is by clicking on the graph.
Secondly, I’d like to see signal strength from time to time. That would be an excellent addition!

My 3 wall outlet pods and X1 tower are just great, sync well and the recent upgrade to 1 Gig speed for no added monthly cost in exchange for 2 years of service is great. I’ve been with Comcast for almost 2 decades and they’ve always kept me current with speed and service.

The app is rather worthless to me. Any time I try to use it to troubleshoot my own devices it tells me “it’s connected with a cable and online” well great but it’s not loading anything and is frozen. Allow me to reset the device via the app.

The app does not work with just service provider phone plan. So when I lose internet and phone I cannot log into app to report outage.

I wish I could give this app a 4 or 5 star. But I can’t. I have it a 2 star because I love the concept of assigning devices. I hate the fact that sometime it won’t even open for me and then other times it freezes and then closes on me. One of these issues happens every time I open the app.
Now I could possibly deal with this if I also had the option of setting data limits on users. Way better option than me trying to handle daily things and not have to worry about pausing people’s devices (which takes an extremely long time to do).
Second I am having issues with devices showing up that I don’t know what they are and when I try to delete them I can’t. It says go to xfinity.com or something and then all this other nonsense, when in reality I should be able to just delete it from my gateway.
I actually have to call customer service if I can’t log in? 1/5
I only had this app for a day, and the fact I have to call customer service to get help when the app can’t open is stupid. They aren’t even open 24 hours! Comcast you need to do better

90% of the time I get “having trouble accessing your account, call 1-800... If I wanted to get on the phone and wait for 45 minutes, I wouldn’t have gotten the app.

Never works! Stuck in Bridge mode 1/5
For about 2 months (or longer) this app won’t work because my gateway is stuck in bridge mode. Funny thing is I have spent more hours than I like to admit, on the phone with customer service...guess what? They claim my gateway is NOT in bridge mode. Wish I could reconnect the laptops that I paused BEFORE this app decided to put me in permanent bridge mode!

I used to love this app, but now I can’t even log in. It accepts my account name and password, then sends me a text with a code to type in. After I enter the code it returns me to back to the log in screen!
If I try the “Forgot password” link, Safari tells me there were too many redirects...
I can log into the Comcast “My Account” and “Connect” apps, so I know my password is correct.

I’m using technicolor CGM4140COM which is comparable according the the required upgrades, but I still can not connect
Was fine, until I upgraded Gateway 1/5
Upgraded wireless gateway, now the app won’t work at all. Says some nonsense about voice service. Multiple chat sessions with tech support, a technician visit, phone calls and not a single person knows what the problem is. Not sure the higher speed was worth all this.

The app is actually really handy. It allows you to make a profile for a device or devices so you can see average use age for an individual as well as stop usage, set parental controls, and establish secure browsing. Does not notify you when any device connects to the network even with notifications on, but other than that it’s really good for keeping track of usage and keep a secure home network

So far my experience with the xFi app has been very pleasant. Over the year they’ve made it fast and easy to use. It’s also very nice to be able to manage all the devices on the network and be able to assign them to family members. Keep up the good work!

Love the personalized feature per person/device.
Just came with Comcast when we moved. I only had two choices for internet. Chose Comcast. Big mistake. I purchase a gateway designed for their system. Then I download this app and it tells me I have to upgrade my equipment. I just bought equipment and spent $139. Now to use their app I have to buy another one. I won’t even go into how my bill has been messed up and the hours I have spent on the phone trying to resolve that issue. Their website still shows I owe money after I paid exactly what the “service” rep, (or should I say “non” service rep), told me to pay. Now I know why Comcast is rated one of, if not the worst, company in the country.
