Yahoo Mail - Organized Email app reviews

  • Deleting mail 2/5

    By abbysky17
I have so much trouble deleting mail on the app. I’ll delete so many, it refreshes the same mail I just deleted and then say I still have a bunch of mail in my inbox. I have to get on a computer to delete mail the right way. Doing this what’s the point of the app?
  • Poor app. Can be better. 1/5

    By ChuunuMunnu
The biggest feature that lacks in the app is that when deleting a message, it takes you back to the inbox instead of next message. Because of this, you need to select the message again to read it.
  • Spam doesn’t work well 1/5

    By nonicknamegobyusername
Once I mark the email as spam, I see that email coming from same domain is in my inbox. I dont want to see subsequent emails coming to my inbox
  • Yahoo 5/5

    By Tysonstevensnow23150
You can put all your email account on one sign.
  • FaceID doesn’t work 1/5

    By TxRadiolistener
Once again In the app it says FaceID is enabled. But I’m always prompted for my device passcode. Very inconvenient. TouchID used to work fine. Reinstalling app didn’t work.
  • Flawed email app 2/5

    By Specks20/400
While this app might be useful for for some people on mobile devices, it has many flaws and limitations compared to the Web site email on a computer. I particularly dislike that I have to open spam messages and unwanted messages in my inbox in order to delete them. On an iPhone or iPad, you might as well just access yahoo mail thru your apple mail app.
  • Thank you Jesus in Jesus Name Amen 5/5

  • Back to old Yahoo problems 1/5

    By CW Moss
Yahoo accounts worked well until they had the security breach of several years ago. What followed was terrible, I finally shifted all mails to gmail or NS web mail. After the Verizon purchase it changed remarkably for the better. All accounts worked on various Apple devices. CS very helpful after 90minute wait. But, they helped with iPad app only. Said any further helped would be emailed...it was not. Frustrating company. Frustrating business model.
  • Compatibility with iPhones and iPads 1/5

    By Denzpix
Your product business yahoo does not work with iPhones and iPads
  • Login 2/5

    By Brintata
Won’t let me sign in keeps telling me to enable cookies but whether they’re on or off it still keeps telling me the same thing. I don’t know if there was an update or something that messed it up because I’ve been logged in for the longest time and it’s been working fine and now nothing.
  • Best mail ap 5/5

    By Jwwildman
Yahoo mail ap is far superior because of the ease of editing and deleting content.
  • What the hell 1/5

Two weeks later and my other email address was removed and deleted and won’t let me add it back
  • Clunky and overbearing 1/5

    By Filoe Bedoe
    Not worth the effort
  • Not very functional 2/5

    By Roggis363
I’ve had my account for nearly 20 years. It seems most “improvements” in the last several years have not been improvements at all but just unnecessary changes for the sake of having a different look or whatever. Also, I really dislike having contacts automatically added to my contact list. Because of this my contact list is full of names I’ve never heard of and don’t want there. It is far too tedious and labor intensive to try to remove them all and they just keep popping back up anyway. Please fix this . I only want names on my list that I put there myself. Thank you .

  • Mail Pro Don’t Waste Your Money 2/5

    By JaimeeRoberts
So the mail pro is .99c a month no big deal. Removes ads, gives you better protection etc. nope. Not only did I still have ads it didn’t know which device its supposed to be on. So wether its my iphone, ipad or MacBook on the site there was no difference in paying the 99c. I guess its per device. Originally I did it on the website an it worked for awhile. Not worth it though. You realistically need to pay for every device. Your better off using the built in mail app on iPhone once its updated this fall.
  • Yahoo Mail - The Best 5/5

    By iPhone User 122
It has been my email address for years and it is still the very best. Many start-ups have tried to duplicate what Yahoo offers but I will remain loyal to the best email service provider.
  • Can’t find how to sign out. 1/5

    By Deaf Education Teacher
Could be a useful app if I could use it securely. Impossible to find where to sign out. Too much of a security risk for me. Deleting it from my phone since I can’t sign out. Frustrating. Not a good interface for me.
  • Worst app ever 1/5

    By buyer beware grrrrrr.
Spent 3.5 hours setting up and now 3 days later not working again.
  • Superb! 5/5

    By xchillvibesx
I absolutely love this app compared to the standard “mail” app you get on iPhone. It’s a pain selecting every single SPAM in your inbox to delete. But this app lets you select everything all at once. It’s quick, simple, straight to the source information. I love it!
  • Come on 1/5

Can’t connect to calendar on mobile. Customer support disconnected. How can you not get this together and make it easy?
  • Spam 2/5

    By Brad1073
I continue to receive spam mail from the same emails daily even after I go in and unsubscribe from them and move them to the spam folder . Yahoo used to be a great place to have my email, however over the past year it has gone way down hill to the point that I am almost ready to delete my account with them and go to Microsoft outlook. Please fix this

Do not like the adds at the top of my email. It’s has no interest to me. And to charge me.99 a month to stop them is offensive.

    By Lee0704
I don’t know what’s going on with this app. Sometimes it works and other times it acts like a browser that looks a bit different than what I’m used to....this app is getting too buggy....
  • Mail is gone. Folder empty 1/5

Yahoo you stink. I didn’t delete them so why are they all gone?
  • New Yahoo email app 1/5

    By notetleb
Absolutely disruptive and it’s costing a lot of problems. Why I isn’t letting me sign in to my regular iPhone app? 🤬🤬🤬
  • Surprised this is rated so high with the blatant ads 3/5

    By DirtyxMcCurdy
Yeah, there’s a pro version that will remove ads. But who wants to pay $10 a year? If it was a one time purchase of a few bucks I might have considered it. But there are plenty of free apps that are just as good. The banner ad at the top of the inbox is too much.
  • No second taps 5/5

    By oldaddyd
I appreciate being able to delete with just one tap. No are you sure you want to delete messages.

It isn't buggy and seems quick even on my iPhone 5. Update 2019 05, it seems a bit slower now. Still good though. I am still on IPhone 5.
  • Passcode/Touch ID resets 1/5

    By WWistheworstappever
I keep having to turn the require passcode/Touch ID to open setting back on. I’ve set it 4 times today and it’s off again. I’ve not logged out of the app, but still keeps resetting to off.

  • Can’t share on yahoo app 1/5

    By SFO CA Traveler
After the last update… I can no longer share information whether it’s a picture or website or anything on Yahoo… Instead I get a screen popping up that says I have to login even though I’ve already logged in… Please fix ASAP or I will switch to Gmail
  • Good but one small bug 4/5

    By VeghS
When a new incoming email is read and/or deleted elsewhere (Yahoo email in browser) the red badge notification remains in the app even though the list of emails is correctly updated from the server. (In other words, it still shows the red number above the icon when there is no new unread email anymore). The app needs to be closed and restarted for that to disappear.
  • Spam 3/5

    By Melissasplace
This app is terrible at filtering spam out
