    What’s the best streaming quality of any the cord cutting streaming services I have tried. The price is reasonable and channel selection is decent. However they occasionally will black out local sports games that are available either over the air or on other streaming services such as fubo TV or PS Vue. From what I could tell searching the Internet this happens for other TV shows such as the bachelor, but I do not watch that I’ve only witnessed it with sports

    I love this platform, but pretty regularly I’ll be watching a show (I use Roku) and the playback will just completely stop with a black screen during a commercial break and then I have to leave the app entirely, come back and find my place again. Why do I have to start a show over from the begging everyone I leave? I still think there’s some bugs to work out.

    It’s fine. Cut the cord. Sling is better for Roku. For fire stick. For casting over chrome cast or any other casting service. The YouTube tv increased in price and the cool part about initially was the price vs its competitors. Now it has become comparable. Also the app has so many annoying issues and also the casting thing will always lose connection to chromecast. We’re breaking up. You gave me a good two years. But sling is better and more friendly. And the channel lineup is better and five dollars less. You dummies. Why would you increase the price from a cool 35 to 50?? I’m sure there are logistical reasons and network negotiating reasons. But you freaking dummies. I stood by you despite your bad app across all the platforms. I couldn’t defend you any longer. 35 vs 50. That’s 170 a year. You dummies. You had something great even though it had flaws. I’m sorry but I sadly have to say goodbye. Love youuuuuuuuuu.

    Don’t even waste the time. If you watch something from a station its ads galore. Then sometimes it skips to the end or will even restart the show. If it does happen to freeze like that you can’t even move back to the point you were out without the spinning wheel revolving but never starting. Binge watching and then you can’t even see important screens. No thanks. PlayStation vue is better.

    So I’m paying $49.99 and my Fox and NBC networks have been out for more than 3 days. I’m having to watch local news from these networks on local TV apps. What a joke.

    I switched from DTV Now to this for the ACC channel. I would say this is rock solid compared to my prior service. 2 little things: please add a clock (I ref this a lot) and a toggle option to just show live tv in the top home section instead of previously recorded stuff. This is closest to a cable replacement I’ve used - thanks!

    The DVR drives me crazy. There is no where to find your entire list you have recorded. Also local channels are not recorded, instead you get the on demand version. I record it because I don't want to see the commercials. Can fast forward the commercials from on demand programming. Also its annoying that once you've watched a show you are unable to delete it. Why do I need to keep it once I'm done. I should get the option to delete it. I also wish that there was a choice between eastern or western feeds. Locals I understand that's the time but I came from DirecTV where everything is on the eastern feed. I like getting my shows three hours earlier. The guide needs to go further out. Can't see what's on two days from now. Need at least a week of guide information. Hard to set your recordings for newer customers. Also should have better options for series recordings. I don't need all the old episodes unless I ask for them. I've seen all the sitcoms I record am fully up to date but my DVR showing all seasons being recorded. Its great its unlimited but it makes it to hard to find the current season shows since all old episodes are recording as well.

    I have had this app for quite a while now. I think it’s ridiculous that some of your stations won’t all the double tap fast forward. I was hoping since you recently raised your fee through the roof, that this issue would have been solved. I actually would never recommend to any of my friends to pay for this app.

    So I download the app ... create a google email account... it tells me “you are not a member yet” but doesn’t give me an option to become a member.

    I use this app to cast to my Apple TV, but when I’m watching a recorded program and use the 15 second skip button, it randomly takes me to a different recording. When I use the widget to search for another program, it randomly takes me to a different recording. When I switch to a different app, it takes me to a different recording. When I switch back to the YouTube app, it’s takes me to a different recording. This terrible app ruins a great product.

    Two groups of five commercials each show. If you leave a show you have to watch a commercial to get back into it. I’m paying 60.00 per month for commercials? I don’t think so google. I smell a quick cancel coming up if they don’t remove all commercials. For 60.00 per month I expect commercial free tv.

    I use the app on my phone and on Apple TV. Everything works perfectly with the exception of the remote on Apple TV. Swiping through the guides take forever, only moving two spaces at a time. The remote definitely has the ability to swipe freely, but is stiff within the YTV app

    Better channel navigation is needed, but most annoying is that shows freeze during playback. This happens regardless of the network or show, and often occurs during the last 5 to 10 minutes remaining.

    i have done research and this streaming service has the best quality of them all. More 1080p channels than others and more 60fps than others. But it frustrates me when the show "battlebots" is in 480p. the reason im putting bad review is cause the app on my ipad mini is an absolute nightmare to use! tapping directly on the buttons you need to change channels or exit fullscreen NEVER registers. Literally everytime i use it i am almost nearly pushed to my mental limits and just about to break my tablet. I really think they made it such a nightmare on purpose. The easiest bug to fix is to make button presses register proper. Anyway if you mostly use a tablet or Pc (pc web browser has the same issues) than dont get this service. If you mostly use a Tv like appletv than it works better than all the others. A bonus i really like about this service is you can customize the tv guide, you can set the channels in whatever order is most comfortable to you. Thats super useful cause i group my news, movies, reality show, tv sitcoms, and other channels all together in a proper order. Something that not a single cable provider EVER gets right. So kudos to youtube for allowing this! As for channel selection this service also has the best lineup. It has all the channels you need which makes it super competitive and affordable.

    Constant ads!!!! Also, does this stream in 4K? I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find an answer. They also need a way to access a schedule so we can see what shows are coming up. Interface is way better than the garbage from ATT thankfully.

    Another scam carrier. They bait you with several channel coverage, then block you from watching. To add insult to injury, they charge you to call them and cancel your service. I call this thievery!

    Expensive and channel lineup is horrible. DVR is just a scam they will put on demand shows and call it DVR. They think we don’t know this unfortunately this is a scam by their parent company google. They claim they dvr to the cloud which is just a bunch of a great scammmm. Don’t waste your time and money there are many other options. Find a company with ethics research.... Try Fubotv they realky have a DVR system and includes a better price and channel lineup including the History Channel which youtube tv does not offer.

    It’s a good app, but the lack of a guide is awful! Really, there is no guide? I can’t see a list view of all the channels with their upcoming programming lineup? That’s one of the most -most- basic functions of any tv app. Overall, the picture quality is okay, app works fine except the lack of the guide, but it also is not so very intuitive. Same can be said for the Samsung tv app.

    This is a non technical review of the app. You get a lot of channels for the price and the app freezes/spins occasionally however not too much. My guess is as internet speeds continue to increase and the app gets better and better this is the way a lot of folks will watch tv. There were way more channels than expected however they are very popular channels.

    Your app description still references being able to purchase via the iTunes Store, when this is no longer the case. Now, I wasted money to put on my Apple ID, and am unable to purchase via this method.

    I absolutely love YouTube tv. We switched from Comcast about 2 years ago and have never looked back. The only thing I’ve seen an issue with (and it can be pretty annoying) is that some of the shows that are “On Demand” (a lot of the crime documentary shows, not sure if other shows do this too) go all the way until about 15 minutes left and then they start over. In other words, I’m watching a 45 minute show, it has the unskippable commercials, and 30 minutes in it starts from the beginning. I’ve noticed this when using the app on my phone, I haven’t tried watching these particular shows at home (I watch them while I’m at work). I sincerely hope someone will look into this! Other than that, thanks for the incredible, superior service to cable!

    A seamless app that almost always works As long as you are connected to the Internet. Are you super great way to watch all your favorite cable channels. Google, you need to include the fact that you have added the ACC network to the lineup

    I will be requesting a refund, this app is worse than the ESPN app, which I thought was impossible. It is impossible to accurately fast forward and rewind. The app keeps losing connection to Chromecast so it is impossible to control what is playing on the TV.

    The app plays live TV and shows no problem on device but when trying to cast to the TV the app just shows a spinner and never connects. Was working like an hour ago then stopped. Tried unplugging the chrome cast, restarting phone, nothing got it working again. Normally I wouldn’t give a one star, but if Google is going to keep raising the price the product better work.

    The app is so buggy. Ads keep replaying even after we have watched all of them. The app also doesn’t remember my previous watched position. And whenever the screen turns off, the player stops playing on airplay now (used to not do that).

    Loved YouTubeTV - actually my favorite app - until I moved. Unable to convince them that I live in a different state now. I’ve had multiple unsuccessful contacts with customer service via phone and email. Still unable to watch because I’m “out of area.” No, this IS my area. Buyer beware.
