    Have been using without issue did a year and this last update is now frequently glitching video. Frequent I stand freezes and now it gets to where the video freezes but audio continues. Have to kill and restart the app to get it going again. This was a bad bad update.

    The app seriously needs to be updated. It’s good until you go to your add ons why pay for HBO Max if it’s not updated?! None of the movies from HBO Max are on there or half the shows even. I started a tv show that on HBO Max has 8 full episodes but on the YouTube TV app there’s only 1 episode of the show. Why pay almost $80 for an app that’s not going to feature everything?!

    Went to sign up for a trial well apparently Google had all my information and went I hit start membership it automatically charged me 69.38. I was just wanting to try it out first! Called you tube and they told me to dispute through PayPal. Disputed through PayPal and they said since I pressed start membership they couldn’t do anything. Crappy Customer Service!

    I tried to add AMC+ using my phone. The UX is so confusing that I eventually gave up because I assumed that it was just poorly designed and the developers probably know it but haven’t fixed it yet. None of the links took me anywhere that even remotely resembled functionality for adding or getting access to AMC+ through YouTube tv. Also, some of the screens were poorly scaled. I couldn’t even figure out what I was looking out or navigate around. Definitely a 1 star experience.

    So far while watching YouTube TV I like the commercials better than I did with HULU , because they’re more appropriate. HULU had too many inappropriate commercials on every channel even the kids cartoon channels, making it impossible to watch tv. So far it’s ok on that part with Youtube TV. The one star less is because at least 1/2 the time we watch a show or movie , during the last minute, the show abruptly ends or restarts back 1-5 minutes. Some of the commercials are adverts for networks with elevator music in the background and that’s a calm break from the regular annoying commercials.

    When I get nba league pass through YouTube tv I am unable to log into nba league pass on their website through YouTube tv - I don’t know why very frustrating Update: Another thing about this sh** app. It keeps asking me if I am traveling or live here. I answer traveling like 5 times a day. After asking me like 5 minutes before, with 8 seconds left in a close basketball game it popped up asking me again, kicking me out of watching the game. I missed the end. These guys try and make it the most miserable experience. Don’t give them your business until they are willing to be better.

    This is the best of the streaming tv products. Absolutely no complaints on customer support, service, or tv applications. Even though the price went up one month into our service (like they were just waiting for us to sign up) even then we didn’t complain because the service was so good. There is just one thing I’m complaining about and its the one thing keeping me from giving it five stars and it’s just as much the other service as theirs. And that is local sports programming. The only way we get see the Atlanta Braves is through Fox South and Southeast (now Bally S and SE) sports programming and they did not re-sign with them. This along with the demise of Sony Vue was the deciding factor from us re-signing with Sony Programming. Therefore we watch our sports through the MLB Network even though we are paying extra. Sorry Sony you’ve got a first class system here that you are letting slip through your fingers. You get that sports programming resigned and we wil re-sign our programming with you.

    I’ve had YouTube tv for quite some time now and while it worked pretty well for me on my phone or tablet, it’s been working terrible for me on my smart TV. When I open up the app on my tv, it remains loading on the start up screen. I knew my internet provider wan wasn’t the issue because my internet works just fine with everything else. Despite numerous attempts to address the issue with customer support, I’ve gotten no where with a solution. I’ve canceled and I’m uninstalling.

    ok so i downloaded this app bc i wanted to watch shows anywhere instead of just on the tv. it started to glitch and kick me out a lot and i thought it was just my internet. but no it’s not bc everything else works. a couple weeks ago my favorite show had its season finale and this stupid app kept glitching so it sucked and i was mad bc it was the SEASON FINALE!!!! it kicks me out for no reason and lags INSANELY bad. fix this. Sincerely, A VERY MAD CUSTOMER!!!!!

    This is a great idea but needs better functionality. 1st, they need to add 4K. Second they need to add a remote to the app. Lastly they need Picture in Picture on the iPhone. I don’t understand why that’s a feature on YouTube premium and not YouTube tv when this app is so much more money. I still have cable so still testing to see if I will continue this after the free trial. After 2 weeks I notice too many ads. Looking into Hulu Live

    I got YouTube TV to replace my cable as I was hardly watching cable anyway due to all the available streaming services. For the most part, I am happy with the switch - with a few exceptions. I do not like that I can no longer fast forward through commercials. I am a Millenial and grew up without being able to fast forward through commercials - which isn’t a big deal. But you can’t switch channels if you don’t want to watch a commercials without your commercial-watching timer starting ALL over again. And, heaven forbid you lose your place or want to rewind to rewatch a part. Every time you scrub, the commercial timer resets. I accidentally tapped the screen one time and scrubbed way forward. By the time I was done watching the commercials trying to find where I was in the show, I was so over it and not interested in watching anymore. This wouldn’t be so bad if the commercials were not so ridiculously competitive. If there is going to be no variety to the commercials, why not let us fast forward through them. Being forced to watch something I am sick of seeing doesn’t make me want to try the product. I get that people can only resist repetitive product placement for so long. But there is an obvious tipping point to that. I’m not that upset about it because I’m fine with canceling if I decide the frustration is not worth it. Again, I was satisfied with my other streaming services before this so I don’t need a cable service.

    App is great. Fast. Clear picture (for streaming TV). Good content. But why is the volume always quiet for the shows and the extremely loud for commercials. It’s INFURIATING! I’m honestly ready to quit the subscription over this. My kids love Bluey and we have to listen to it at volume 75 and then need to turn down to 10 for commercials.

    For those of you who won’t pay hundreds of dollars for an Apple TV or chrome cast device. Good luck trying to watch on you TV. I have a 3000 dollar tv and a ps5 and an iPhone 12 Pro Max and between all of these you cannot watch YT TV in your TV. With YT being owned by google the largest tech company in the would think making an app or a feature allowing it to cast to my TV or ps5 would be possible but no. Don’t bother.

    I upgraded my internet and even upgraded from a fire stick to a fire tv cube, and still the youtube tv app still buffers constantly. It’s very aggravating considering they increased the price 15 dollars recently. The dvr is awesome but what’s the use if the content doesn’t play?

    Hello everyone. I have had this service well over a year now and it’s time to say goodbye to it. It was nice in the beginning but over last 3 months it has and is no longer performing as advertised. A few times an hour, on each tv, an error pops up saying “you are using service on 3 tv’s the maximum amount. Please turn one off” error code 3. Well since you are allowed to be running 3 with their service why all the interruptions? They have no customer service at all and we click the send report, which does nothing. So we are moving on from YouTube. I recommend you try Hulu, philco and others for same price or less.

    Slow & clumsy compared to cable. Cant airplay to old Apple TV. Connected to airplay and all youtubeTV does is says something went wrong, tap to retry. Junk. Considering keeping google fiber and not having TV service, or giving up google fiber and going back to Xfinity that’s how annoying youtubeTV is. Not saving that much money to consider the price in my decision.

    We are paying $120/month (they hiked prices by 50% on early members) and are forced to watch 3-4 mins of ads for every 5-10 mins of showtime. Cancelling!!!!!

    The YouTube TV service is good but the app is among the worst video streaming apps available. Makes the service not worth subscribingto. The biggest problem is that you can’t to picture-in-picture on iPad or iPhone. So many other streaming services with the same content are available, choose one of them for the better app features. Beyond picture-in-picture, the interface of the YouTube TV app is confusing. The DVR function, while it has a lot of capacity, has weak search features so it’s hard to find what you want. YouTube is making no effort to improve their apps. There are no new features beyond bug fixes, yet the service price increases constantly — three times since I signed up! All they do is raise the price and add no value, just like any old cable company.

    YouTube tv has once again disappointed-maybe to the point of switching providers. Since we’ve signed up they have raised the rates to pay for their “wonderful” new channels that I could care less about. On top of that we lost our local fox sports channel so I can’t watch my favorite pro teams-baseball,basketball or hockey. They offer the mlb network but the package to watch my team is 24.99 which I won’t purchase. So to recap-I’m paying $24.99 more per month than I was when I signed up and I lost my favorite channel but gained 5 crappy channels that I didn’t want.

    It seemed okay at first but every time you try to watch on the app on a smart tv it takes a while to load. Other streaming apps like Fubo and Hulu live and Philo never gave me this problem. And it would go in and out! I can’t say it’s an internet issue when we have two lines for one household.

    ok ok ok i LOVE this TV it has amazing pictures and absolutely no glitches!! other people have been saying “oh way to many glitches!” yeah don’t listen to them there is absolutely 0 glitches i had sling before and i’m telling you the tv was so crazy blurry but this has a difference and it’s not hard to use at all! so easy!! it’s simple and easy. also you can fast forward it on most shows unlike most channels. and if your a technically lover than this is for you it’s so upgraded and seems like you could use it on the future. but.... there is only one downside it’s expensive just maybe i bit cheeper but it’s totally worth it!! hope you like this and please if your looking for another tv Chanel GET THIS

    We don’t need 10 baseball and 5 golf channels!!! Nobody watches that junk, that’s why they’re cheap to broadcast. How about you get rid of that junk and bring back just one channel... like the Tennis Channel!!! You keep increasing the monthly cost and replacing the good channels with junk ones for sheer total numbers vs content and substance. Congrats on being the new “cable company”. They did the same thing for years and look where they are now.

    This app is not bad and not good all at once. I am using satellite or cable Tv as the comparison for this review. it is nice to have my favorite shows in the Library menu and the Live guide is much like having a DVR and I use it often, but the Home menu makes me wonder what it’s function is while at the same time I do often select my tv from this as it will be the first stop after loading. Unfortunately, it has shows I do not want to watch, prominently placed, and irritatingly will often deliver those shows to me when I am unaware. Case and point, Bobs Burger, not my show. I don’t like this show, I don’t want to watch it. Consistently, I will leave the tv on watching a similar program, sleep, and awake to Bob’s Burger playing. Then the app thinks I like this show and it will be in my feed for apparently the rest of my life or until and I hope this is the next fix you come up with, a dislike button. I can add shows to my favorites and have them recorded. Why can’t I add a show to my dislike list and never watch it again? This would be nice. Only other thing and th biggest by far is the commercials. Same goddamn commercials for the entire time I watch no matter which channel no matter what time of day. Sometimes I would change a channel back in the day because the commercials were grating on my nerves. This is a huge company. You guys should have so many potential advertisers, why is it the same company’s, same commercials, every 10 minutes. It is enough to make me run away from your app as fast as I can. There cant be more than 10 commercials I am forced to endure ad nauseam. You guys can fix this. Add a few more company’s. Make them do a few commercials that are different! Don’t make me go crazy again over Christmas, because I will come unhinged if I have to hear that Carol of the Bells Kia Commercial one more time!... anyway. Dislike button fix the home thing because it’s useless and more variety of commercials or even better less commercials. You guys made 4 billion advertising not too long ago. Maybe that’s more than enough and you can scale back what you force us to ingest. Commercials are bad for us. They make us have unrealistic views on what we can afford and what we think we need. Please consider removing the RX commercials. Those are really bad and make us a laughing stock in the world. Come on Alphabit help us do better. Don’t make it all about the money. That sort of thinking gets company’s like yours broken up into little bitty company’s and then you lose all that you thought you would have.

    I agree with a lot of the recent reviews. Shame on you. I dropped satellite for this. The service has been poor at best and now you want to hike prices 30% for 8 channels that I don’t want. The video is fuzzy, pauses, and rewinds on its own. At times it will restart the movie/show. The low price beat the satellite companies so the poor resolution was not a deal breaker as I just wanted a few channels at a cheaper price. Youtube tv equals high prices with frequent rate hikes. Look elsewhere. Now, I guess its onto a new service. You should give people the choice to upgrade not force it on them.

    Okay app, but at this point, now that iOS 14 with PiP support has been out for a while, this feature seriously needs to be added to this app. I watch a lot on my phone casually to simply have on in the evening and not having pip makes it nearly unusable, because I can’t do anything else on my phone.

    We tried it out because it seemed reasonably priced. Unfortunately if you have an existing HBO account you can’t link it. Also I found I was being double charged every month! There aren’t clear options on how to request a refund either. Still getting charged and I cancelled! Ridiculous!!!
