I can’t for some reason upload my profile picture and it won’t let me move on until I do it. I’ve restarted my phone and closed the app to start it again with no luck. I’ll try deleting the app to see if it’ll fix the issue. :(

I find this app to be very useful to connect with other people accepted, but the app is a pain to use. I can’t crop my profile picture so my face is cut out, it is very hard to click out of peoples profiles, and I can’t even delete a fun answer question.

I turn off notifications for certain group chats, making sure to set it to “until I turn it back on.” Low and behold, an hour or two later my phone is getting blown up again by notifications from the group chat I just muted. I give up now. It’s been happening for weeks.

I don’t understand why I have to put my phone number first... Isn’t there a way to be able to submit my email first because I don’t like putting my phone number into apps that Doesn’t show me what zeemee really is.

The app keeps crashing, and everytime it does for me, I lose what I was typing. I am also unable to send messages, so there’s no point in using this app. I can’t send private messages or respond in group chats. It’s incredibly unreliable. I’ve had a terrible experience so far.
You are better off trying to contact/inquiry directly to the school.

I love ZeeMee and how it has connected me with my future college community at Biola!! I’ve met some really awesome people through the app and love how Biola has utilized it. We even started a weekly zoom call with future students that participate in the ZeeMee conversations. Only negative is the animal spam😳 (you know what I mean!)

Even though the help desk is slow, I’m still giving this app 5 stars because talking with colleges and others going to the same college is what we need to understand and get to know college life and meet new people in the same situation as yourself.

This app in itself is fine and all, but the mute button for a specific group doesn’t work. at. all. So my phone buzzes every few seconds but I can’t really turn off notifications entirely because I need to keep them on for a specific group.

ZeeMee is really easy to use and is a great way to get connected with people that may go to your school. Although I wish it were easier once you decided which school you were going to if you could be able to only see those people that are also going to the school. Just to eliminate confusion when adding friends and potential roommates.

The app is not recognizing my current high school that I will graduate from this year. This makes it impossible to make it past the first profile-set-up screen as I can’t put in my high school (Northfield High School Denver Co.). Please fix if possible.

Update: the customer service guy works really hard and reached out several times trying to help fix my problem however the issue still exists (⭐️—> ⭐️⭐️⭐️)
ZeeMee’s app structure goes like this:
1. You like a school? Cool add them, but most schools don’t have any relevant content on the app?
2. A school is interested in you? Doesn’t matter if you are! They’ll add themselves to your network and KEEP re-adding themselves no matter how many times you remove them!
Whoever made this app should be ashamed to have built it in such a way where colleges are able to select students to curate data from but students are not allowed to remove that college from spamming them with useless and repetitive advertisements.

Also can you only have one school on your profile? It only looks like you can add additional schools if you’ve received an acceptance letter. What about when you’re applying?

The app is great and I love the idea. I will definitely be using this as I decide what school I’m going to so I can meet people. However, recently my phone has been playing audio from videos on the home page. The audio will play randomly even if I haven’t used the app at all. Even closing all apps doesn’t make it stop. It will just play the audio on a loop over and over until I restart my phone. I just happened to go on the app today and realized that’s where it was coming from. Will be redownloading this app once I choose a school. But have to uninstall for now because of the glitch.

i downloaded this app to start connecting with others that are interested in my colleges, but its useless!! the only things that are talked about in the chats are things that can literally be found on the colleges web page, or people dropping their social medias in the chat. honestly not worth the time to download.

This by far is one of the best apps I’ve found to look for potential room mates. While I did have an issue signing up for an account, the technical team for this app is amazing though and fixed my issue ASAP. If you are on the fence about trying this app, try it. The communities created by each different college are amazing and I’ve met some cool people from the roommate quizzes. I will definitely be using this app frequently in my quest for a roommate.

I love this app. It’s a great way to connect to people before you get to college, but I am struggling in making a group chat. I can’t figure out a way to add some people. They just don’t pop up, and there’s not a straightforward way to go about it. I’d love any help if anyone knows what I’m doing wrong😂

Honestly, if ZeeMee was meant to be some other kind of social media it wouldn’t be that great, but it’s got its specific purpose and it works for that. It’s a great way to connect with other people that are applying and possibly have something else that colleges can see

When I click on my notifications, they show up, but the tops and bottoms of the words are cut off. Pleas make each notification box bigger so I can read what the text says!!! Don't make the text bigger, make the white space above and below the text smaller!

The ZeeMee app just keeps getting better! The new features they have rolled out this year are incredibly helpful. Also, they have completely updated their chat! It is a whole new way to interact on the app. You can post live videos, GIFs, drawings…the list goes on and on and it is amazing. My favorite part about the chat is the live video feature. I can stream a live video and get instant feedback. Also, the video recorder is now so much easier to use. ZeeMee is incredibly user-friendly and such a great way to connect with colleges. It really helps you become more than an application. The link between student and college is easy to make, and the connections made prior to applying are priceless. The app can even help you find a roommate! It really is an excellent tool for anyone preparing for college and for current college students alike. I highly recommend ZeeMee!

Not easy to use at all. Need to reconnect every time I quit the app. Upload the photos one by one and completely slow... The video I worked on, filmed disappeared. Horrible way to apply for a school and I can’t even select my hometown because it doesn't save.

The app sounds awesome and I’m actually required to get it for my college but it doesn’t go pay the 2nd screen.. I hit get started, I enter my phone number, it sends me a code and I type it in.. then, nothing. Nothing happens at all. Tried over 30 times.

I am applying for college and am now on to do scholarships in hope of getting into my dream school. The main scholarship I am applying for (and the one I am most likely to receive) requires me to make a video on ZeeMee. That sounded easy enough until I actually downloaded the app. I cannot even get past the LOADING screen. I have tried multiple times off of multiple devices to verify my phone number but to no avail. It just buffers and doesn’t do ANYTHING. If I could give this app less than one star I would. Save yourself time and a headache and don’t download.
