  • To the developers 4/5

Please add an option to remove a job from your “applied jobs” section after the position has closed. Otherwise, great app! Thank you
  • Actually Helpful 5/5

    By Chase A.F.
This app and it’s AI Phil have been incredibly helpful in my search for a job. They make the process easy to navigate for new or experienced users and there is very little wait on responses. All around amazing app!
  • Easy to navigate 3/5

    By Caribplum
Easy to navigate and user friendly however, for some reason continuously recommends jobs that has nothing to do with your choice or preferences you entered. For example: You enter that you’re interested in a job in healthcare but instead it notifies you that there’s a position as a CDL Driver ? Which has absolutely nothing to do with healthcare. The other issue I am having is location, you enter your location preference for a job yet they send you a position all the way in Arizona. I keep getting frustrated with this app and have deleted it a few times but upload it again because of how easy it is to navigate and I love the quick apply for the position but I am not happy that it is really matching my choices for the jobs I am interested in.
  • Can’t even type in the app 1/5

    By mleigh21
I’m looking for a new job and while signing up was easy, the app won’t pull up the keyboard on my phone! I’m on an iPhone 14 Pro Max :(
  • Horrible User Experience 1/5

    By TBH_IMO
They scan your resume and put everything on your profile whether you want it there or not, instead of just letting us submit a resume to the employer. You cannot edit screening questions if you made a mistake. Poorly designed UI overall that forces you into specific flows.
  • No description? 3/5

    By Carmen Guerriero
Why is there no description when scrolling through potential jobs. Only revealed once clicked upon , which wastes times and just seems redundant.
  • Great app too use too get on the right track in life 5/5

    By Reddmann59
too use too get on the right
  • Predatory service 1/5

    By beoblob
This is a predatory job posting and search engine DO NOT USE THEM. Signed up for free trial a while ago. Paid no attention to it as it barely got my job posting any followups. I never even used the app. 1 month later I look at my bank account, $700 charge for $24/day posting of a job that literally only had 31 applicants. I want my money back. What a scam. I would understand if they charged the $24/day each day. But to slap a HUGE bill like that onto a small Buisness is predatory. Definitely deserves a CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT .
  • Buggy 3/5

    By JSD234
Keeps closing itself every time I go to view my saved jobs.
  • Wack Job Recommendations 3/5

    By That one alaskan
I’m not sure if it’s user error or what, but I have heard multiple friends having the same issue- We clearly put our job preferences/pay (for example- entry level analyst) and the jobs we get on our feed are like ICU nurse, Associate Attorney, Executive Director, like what is going ON. It should be able to use our preferences and key words from our resumes and suggest ACTUAL entry level jobs. I loooove the quick apply, everything else is great, but the results are bad.
  • Love zip recruiter 5/5

    By Woodley333
Always a pleasure using zip recruiter
  • Happy customer/ great customer service 5/5

    By Thurman38
So far this site has been nothing but amazing for my use, I honestly had no idea on where to start on how to locate a specific location to find employment. ZipRecruiter makes everything so clear and easy to process so I’m happy and satisfied with the services!
  • Zip recruiter is a joke 1/5

    By mp21rg
Probably the worst app for finding employment. I have two degrees and plenty of work history and I am getting notifications for door dash and bank tellers. I set my minimum pay in the app but all it recommended was just that are paying less than $20 an hour. Do not use this app.
  • Fair 3/5

    By Tinaknows
Sometimes the jobs are not aligned with my background and job listings expired.
  • Making a change 5/5

    By Leonard Bell
My name is Leonard Bell. I am trying to do my art work and I give it away for free to people no additional cost.
  • Don’t like 2/5

    By Angela01897
Really do not like the new layout. Too much wasted space, doesn’t make me want to scroll through it all to see if there are any good jobs available.
  • I’m my opinion useless 1/5

    By ramenbody
They have no way for you to communicate with employers so pretty your sitting there applying for all these jobs but have no way to reach out to people and show your interest, no employer will take you seriously if you don’t show interest in the role they’re hoping to fill. Don’t mean to be so negative but garbage
  • I kind hate it 2/5

    By Veronica hair
Comparing to other apps, the only advantage is 1 tap apply. It doesn’t have features like hiding jobs that you don’t qualified for certain qualities or job descriptions/tags you don’t like. It can’t show accurate distance results for my searches or maybe too many ads from the jobs I am not interested or qualified to. Salary search is limited, should has more options.
  • neat 5/5

    By Nandy Ledya
    neat!
  • Account disappeared 1/5

    By Chett Binks
I had a ZipRecruiter account with all my employment and education history entered, which I used during a previous job search (which ended with a local job that had been posted on ZR, but not shown to me by the app). The time to search has come again, and I have come to find that my account disappeared- not deactivated or deleted which would have left email evidence, just vanished into the ether. The only clue I have is one email from support essentially shrugging their shoulders and saying they can’t help because there’s no account associated with my email address, as if that wasn’t the exact issue I was attempting to resolve.
  • Lame 1/5

    By marzz1375
Found myself going back to Indeed which is way better & easier to adjust the settings the way you want the job search to be. This is by far the worst way to try & get a job. It repeatedly kept giving me door dash, gub hub, Uber jobs then any other ones. Huge waste of time stopped using it especially when it kept giving me job suggestions for work 2 or more hours away from home. REALLY!!!!
  • Job searching 5/5

    By jiggygoat
According to this job app I will see jobs that are good matches but I won’t get notarized for a interview I’m still job searching
  • Scam/ spam 5/5

    By nnooopppppeeeeeee
Although there may be some legit jobs on this website/ app, the majority are pyramid schemes and once you sign up, zip recruiter then sends your info to a bunch of third party apps, meaning email and phone number, and you get to deal with the multitude of calls and emails each hour of the day. If you’re looking to get a job, indeed and LinkedIn are the places you should look.
  • Jobs with no Salaries listed 3/5

    By fuhgit
Still not sure why there are jobs being listed with no salaries. Also, the mile search range goes from 25 to 10. That’s too big a jump
  • AI sends out resumes without user knowing 1/5

    By CaliVali87
Twice in one month now I have randomly received notifications of employers “viewing my application”, but the problem is that I never applied for any of the jobs I got notifications for! I thought someone may have hacked my account, but this has now happened twice, I have since updated my password and also deleted the app completely. I could never recommend Zip Recruiter and advise extreme caution to anyone looking for a job with this ratchet app!
  • Garbage 1/5

    By Seriouslythisappsucks1
Do not use this dumpster fire of an app. Your application gets viewed 4 or 5 times and nothing gets done with it. Its a waste of space on your phone use indeed instead!
  • Add Messaging to Employers 4/5

    By Daniel Vans
The app has served its purpose of being a job search engine but one key feature that Zip-recruiter doesn’t have is the ability to directly message other employers to reach out about tour job application. I would be happy if Zip-recruiter adds this opinion.
  • No one hires mechanics from this app 1/5

    By Andresipod79$$
I don’t know about the rest of the country but here in Houston Tx no one gets hired or even try’s to reply on this app. Why even post on this app? I have been applying for jobs and yet not even a thought and then I get job offers for out of state jobs like I’m gonna commute for 8 hour a day!
  • Decent app, Robot recruiter is annoying 3/5

    By CallMeDepolorable
Hi, your app is good but would you consider giving more granular control over your job suggestions? I’d pay for this functionality. I still get relentless irrelevant emails after disabling these notifications. Your one resume limit also pigeon holes me as senior level professional stuck in a career field I’m trying to leave and I need reliable control over finding job profiles with different experience levels. The one resume limit forces me to write a one-size fits all cover letter for “quick apply” jobs and that’s not even practical in this competitive job market. Recruiters hate lazy job seekers that show no effort to stand out for jobs. You’ve gotta give people the ability to manipulate their own search algorithm instead of basing it purely on run-of-the-mill hierarchies of keyword/experience intelligence automation. Yes, I get tech jobs have critical niche skill sets, but you’re eliminating weighted cross-functional skills with this logic and perpetuating employers to continue looking for their unicorn candidates. Just think on this and ask yourself why employers keep reporting labor shortages. Who’s fault is it? It’s the entire system but you can help change it!!!
  • No idea where the low reviews are coming from 5/5

    By Jaimi.baby
I LOVE this app. I always used indeed but in the past year got no results… I finally made an account with ZipRecruiter and LOVE how fast and easy it is to apply to jobs and the the fact that they include little symbols to show you what a good match you are for each one. My favorite part is that it shows you who viewed your application and how many times! My first day applying to jobs I was called for an interview. Definitely recommend.
  • 1tap apply 3/5

    By ambmce1
I hate the 1 tap apply button. Just trying to scroll through the jobs you will accidentally press it and apply for a job you don’t want. I’ve accidentally applied for three jobs now. Won’t be using it anymore for that reason.
  • Set up is great 5/5

    By MrDarby
Most responsive job application so far!
  • Hard working man 3/5

    By Hardest working 74
I’m a very hard worker and I will always listen and work hard and will help others when asked or if I see that the have problems have no problem pick up more time I’m always looking for more things to do when I’m done doing my work I take my time and do things right.
  • Won’t allow google sign in 2/5

    By hip hip hop hooray
My only account I have with zip recruiter is a Google account, which as many people know once you have a Google account through a website you can’t make another account via your Google email. So I have to use google sign in. The app does not allow Google sign in and only allows email sign in, so basically I cannot use the app at all. No idea why they just straight up left this feature off of the app
  • Excellent job reccommendations! 5/5

    By DocTua
I love the fact that Ziprecruiter takes all the information you give it and it recommends jobs for you that matches resume. The algorithm needs a little work but overall I love the app and it makes job hunting so easy!
  • Intrusive 1/5

    By Mustbethursday
Great if you never want privacy or to sleep again. You’re REQUIRED to add your phone number and email. Where scammy cold callers call you incessantly in droves all day, all night. There’s no protections for their users. There’s ZERO privacy. You can’t choose who sees your contact info. It’s just wide out there. You can’t leave blank once you fill out. Stick with indeed and monster. They’re professional enough to value their applicants’ time and information. Just stay away from this data miner.
  • Easy to use 3/5

    By Hiring Manager T
Easy to use interface, a bit pricy at $35/day
  • Won’t let me upload my resume 1/5

  • Blank page displays at start-up. 4/5

    By mnjhbvgfcdxszaerftgy
Opens to a page with no visible information or recognizable menu structure on iPad OS 16.2. There is a small icon upper left in such a place that is is not immediately recognizable as part of a separate app as opposed to a system icon. Your app presents me with what looks more like a blank page than an app from a legitimate App Store. I guess I expected a little more.
  • Good software, bad job recommendations 1/5

    By Emerpans
The software itself is perfect. It makes applying easy with their “one touch apply” button. However the jobs that get recommended are never right. They make you answer questions like: Job experience Skills Job your interested in Etc But they never line up. You end up with lots of random spam jobs that never correlate with what you’re looking for. Also you can dismiss the job but nothing happens besides the job listing being removed. It doesn’t automatically get rid of all jobs similar to it. Not to mention the search function doesn’t work. For example I looked up secretary job near me and it gave me: Nurse practitioner Insurance specialist Assistant dentist
